Jin Muchen's earlier dismissal of Wu Haibo had unsettled the old shareholders. Now the company was rife with hidden turbulence. Jin Fuguo's visit seemed aimless on the surface, but was in fact calculated to support his own grandson.
"Grandpa, I can handle this," Jin Muchen reigned in his aggression in front of Jin Fuguo, making himself seem less intimidating.
Jin Fuguo shook his head, "I just came to check on you."
"Let us go to the old shareholders' gathering on Thursday."
Jin Muchen paused noticeably for a few seconds, "Grandpa, I have prior commitments this Thursday."
Jin Fuguo huffed skeptically; Jin Muchen had been very resistant to attending engagements with these old shareholders in the past.
Today's refusal, in Jin Fuguo's eyes, was just another excuse born of Jin Muchen's pride and arrogance.
"President Jin is indeed busy with official duties."
