Jin Muchen recollected himself, "Let's take a breather."
Qin Pei watched as Su Qiqi returned with Jin Muchen not long after she'd left. A grin flickered in his eyes, wondering when Jin Muchen would finally admit how he felt.
It was clear that he was smitten, yet he insisted he wasn't in love.
Shaking his head in amusement, Qin Pei was ignored by Jin Muchen, who chose to sit down with Su Qiqi.
"You two just can't bear to be apart even for half a minute. Jin Muchen must have checked his watch at least ten times since you left," Qin Pei remarked sarcastically.
Su Qiqi smiled, taking his comment for a joke, "The place is so big, he's afraid I'd get lost."
"You're all grown up and yet..." Qin Pei's words were cut short by the glance Jin Muchen shot at him. He shrugged awkwardly, "What a model husband and wife."
No sooner had Jin Muchen gotten seated, someone else came over to share a drink. He handed the car key to Su Qiqi and stood up to join in the toast.
