The lights of the cocktail party illuminated her face, causing a stir. Squinting her eyes, Su Qiqi remembered a few hours ago.
"Where are we going if not to the party?" Su Qiqi asked, clenching her hand around the seatbelt and biting her lip.
Mo Chen didn't respond, and she couldn't tell if he genuinely didn't hear her or was only pretending not to.
After what seemed like ages, she heard Mo Chen speak, "What kind of punishment should someone get for breaking a promise?"
Not knowing where this question was coming from, Su Qiqi silently repeated it to herself but still didn't know how to respond.
"President Mo, what's going on?" she asked.
The car came to a stop, and Su Qiqi turned her head in confusion.
Just as she turned her head, a shadow loomed over her. Startled, Su Qiqi recoiled,"What are you doing?"
If he approached any further, Su Qiqi would've fought back, but he stopped. She squinted back at his pitch-black eyes.
