When they arrived at Jin Muchen's home, Qin Pei amusedly strolled around the garden. When he returned to the living room, he found only Lin Chuchu sitting on the sofa.
"Where are they?"
"In the kitchen," Chuchu motioned towards the kitchen. She could catch a glimpse of the two of them, and somehow, Jin Muchen looked quite pleasing to the eye at such a moment.
"The kitchen?"
Qin Pei walked over in disbelief, only stopping when he saw the two harmoniously working together in the kitchen, each to their own tasks, looking quite practiced.
Qin Pei had never seen Jin Muchen in this light before. He stared for a long time before retreating, muttering, "Indeed, love makes one lose their heads."
Lin Chuchu glanced at him, indifferent, as his voice filled the space.
"I've never seen Jin Muchen like this before. He seems more down-to-earth now. The greenery in the house used to always look so bleak, but now there's life in it which definitely helps lift one's mood."
