I enter town and start walking towards the guild hall to turn in my quest. I walk in and go towards the receptionist manning the counter before saying, "hey, I would like to turn in this quest"
the receptionist looks at me and accepts it, she hands me a a few copper coins in a bag with a smile "good job completing your first quest! 9 more of those f rank quests and you can try the promotion exam!"
I take the bag and tie it to my waist. "Thanks, I'll make sure to do that soon" I say winking as I leave the guild.
"But first... Food" I say as my stomach rumbles.
I walk through the town and stumble into a large market place, the smell of fresh bread and meat made my hunger even worse.
The stalls i pass all try to sell me some random junk but I turn them all down before I stop Infront of a small inn.
Stepping inside, I instantly felt relaxed from the nice warm lights that softly glow, showing the light green wall and wooden tables and chairs.
A few people look at me before ignoring me as I make my way to the desk.
"How much for a room for tonight?" I ask and the lady on the other side "five copper for the room, and one more for lunch and breakfast today" she says and I hand over the six copper, leaving me with 4 left as I got 10 from The quest.
She hands me a key, "it's room 14, it's up and to the right, you can't miss it"
I nod to her and start making my way up the stairs before a short red head girl bumps into me seemingly on purpose.
"Watch where your going jerk!" She said with a scowl.
"Sorry sorry, ill be on my way" I say as I walk past and enter my room, tossing my things down. But one things missing. My four copper coins.
"That fucker!" I say as I put two and two together and sprint out my room. "Hey! Where's that short red head kid?!" I shout at the lady at the counter and she points at the girl that started running out of the inn.
I curse as I chase after her. Her speed surprisingly fast. "Get back here!" I yell out after her.
"Your gonna have to catch me!"
"I swear, when I get my hands on you!" I yell as I slowly gain on her as she takes turns left and right to try and lose me.
The chase continues for a few minutes before she gets stopped at a dead end.
"End of the line"
I come up right behind her grab her by the shirt. "You little brat, give me my money!"
She looked at me wide wide eyes and struggled to escape my grasp to no avail.
"Hand it over" I say again. This time she complied.
"O-ok! Just don't hurt me!" She says as I take my money.
"Now scram!" I say and toss her away. Before I start walking back to the inn, the late afternoon air was surprisingly calming.
I walk into the inn and sit at a table before I start eating my dinner they prepared and after I finished that i went to sleep in my room.
The next morning I woke up and put my clothes and things on before I went to the guild. As I'm walking and taking in the scenery, a group of knights come marching towards me with angry faces.
"Stop criminal scum!" One of them say and stops in front of me. "Break the law will ya? Not on my watch!" Another says as they pin me down against the hard ground.
"Hey! What did I do?!" I scream out as I see the little thief from yesterday, crying crocodile tears.
"Shut up" one says before they hit me in the head and my conscience leaves me

Several hours later...
"Argh"
'What the fuck? Why am I in this dark cell?' I say as I sit up and look around. "Sounds like the freshies awake" a crazed sounding voice said, while several other voices laugh.
"Shut up, my heads pounding" I say to them all with a hiss.
"The fuck you say to me brat?!" The one who was talking slammed against his cells bars and shouted.
"I said shut up" i look around my body and find out the guards must have taken everything I've got.
"That damn kid, what did she blame me for to get me sent to prison without a lawyer?" I grumble to my self as I look for a way to pry the bars open.
Just then, the door that leads out of the hall with the cells opened and a guard enters, "alright! Time for breakfast! Get your asses out here!" He yells and opens the cells.
Asshole.
I exit my cell and on my way to the table the other inmate's stare at me. "The fuck are you looking at?" I say in an annoyed tone.
The other inmate's grit their teeth and glare before a few of the inmate's drag me into a secluded part of the hall.
"Your really cocky for a freshy" the one I think is the leader said "and we don't like that very much" his lacky said behind him.
"Now, were gonna beat your ass to teach you some manners" the leader says as two lackys rush at me. I pick up a broom, cause we're in a closet of some kind apparently, and I break the head off, making a sword of sorts. As soon as I finish that, one of the lackys swing at me. I duck under it while side stepping the second lackys kick.
I kick lacky ones chest and push him back as I block lacky twos punch. I then swing the broom handle horizontal and hit him in the ribs, causing him to double over. Lacky one grabs me from behind while lacky two recovers and punches me in the side.
I double over on pain but quickly swing the broom at lacky twos neck the broom connects and lacky twos neck snaps.
Lacky one let's go of me and backs away in terror.
"Don't run, coward!" Their boss yelled as the lacky sprinted away. "It's you and me now" I say as I spread my feet shoulder width apart with one Infront of the other and I held the broom stick with two hands
The boss dashed towards me at an impressive speed and as soon as he swings at me I bring my stick down vertically, the boss blocked with one arm and he sends a punch at my stomach and I double over from the force.
"Not so tough huh?" He says with a smirk. I breath deep and exhale.
[Ding! Swordsmanship leved up to level two!]
The notification goes off and I enter my stance again as the boss comes at me once more.
I slide my front foot forward and I lower my body as I dash forward, catching the boss off guard as I swing horizontally and hit him in the knee. The sound of bones cracking and the stick breaking bounces off the walls.
"Fuck!" The boss curses as he collapses to the floor, holding his leg. He looks up at me as I step closer, "you listen to me and you listen good. If you ever try this shit again it won't end with a few broken bones" I say and kicks him in the face, knocking him out.
I walk back to my cell, not getting my breakfast as the other inmate's took it. The cell doors creak as they are shut and locked for the day.
I need to find a way out of here so I can start leveling up. I could try breaking out, But that's not a very good idea...
"I wonder. Can I level up my skills by training? It would only make sense" I say and stand up and point my hand out the window of my cell, breathing softly as I feel the mana in my body start pulling towards my hands.
"Fireball" I say as a ball of flaming mana fires from my hand. At the same time my mask skill turns off, revealing my horns.
"Shit, I forgot I had horns" I say as I start firing fireballs over and over again out the window until...
[Ding! (Fireball) Has leveled up!]
I grin as I hear this notification. I'm gonna have plenty of time to train in here.

Two months later ...
Over these past two months I have been training and fighting the other inmate's over and over. This resulted in several level ups and skill level ups, aswell as a new system function as I hit level five.

Along with the new function, came a new currency, the sp, or shop points. I could use these to purchase items from many different anime and movies alike. Things like bells living knife from danmachi, and guts sword, were all available for purchase.
Granted, they were extremely expensive. Enough that it would take a long time to gather.
Ever since, I've been gaining a steady supply of sp to use from beating the shit out of the other inmate's. I managed to buy a half decent steel sword and hid it under my old creeky mattress.

I must say, I'm quite proud of my progress. But I can't stay in here forever, it's about time I get out now, if the guards were telling the truth anyway...
As I was thinking of that, a guard came in and let me out, "your now a free man, Apollyon" the guards says as he hands me my stuff back.
I secretly switch the iron sword for the steel one I hid under my mattress before I followed the guards out of the prison.
I take a deep breath in and feel the fresh air in my lungs and on my skin, making me smirk and I start to make my way towards the guild.
When I enter, the adventurers glare at me as I walk up to the reception. When she saw me she scowls "you can't accept a job as your license was revoked, if you want to renew it, you have to earn it in a fight with an instructor that teaches people here" she says with venom as I nod.
She leads me down a set of stairs and I look in amazement as a large and grand arena stood before us. I was made to wait on one end of the arena and wait for my opponent.
After awhile, a big burly man with short black hair and scars on his face came and stood opposite of me.
"So your the sex offender huh?" Her says as he looks at me.
Yep, you heard him. The red head accused me of sexually assaulting her. Which didn't happen, but here we are.
"Supposedly, I was falsely accused" I say shrugging.
"They all say that" he says and cracks his neck before tossing a wooden sword at me. I catch the sword.
"That's for you, even if your weak as hell, guild rules" I nod and get into a ready position.
The man grins and gesture's for me to come at him. I chuckle and dash forward, my sword aimed at his neck.
He simply turns to the side and backs up a step as I completely miss. He sticks his foot out and tripps me.
"Gah!" I shout as my face hits the ground.
"Get up, I'm not down with you yet" the man says and picks me up and tosses me. I roll in mid air to land on my feet. I dash forward again, but this time i feint a swing and slide between his legs, my hand pointed up as I say, "fireball!" A flaming ball of mana the size of a basket ball fires toward the man's chin.
He raises an eyebrow and swats it away before he stomps on my stomach.
"Good idea, just a little to slow" he says grinding on my stomach some more.
[Ding! (Humiliation resistance) Obtained!] My system sounded out as I grit my teeth and roll away from the man's feet. As I stand up, my wooden sword start crackling as lightning and raw mana coat the blade, the mana making the sword sturdier while the lightning adding a stunning effect.
Damn system, I don't need that shit skill!
I dash forward and swing the sword at the man, this time the man grabs the wooden sword. That was a huge mistake, as I willed the mana on my sword to sharpen and expand, causing the man's hand to start bleeding. He lets it go and looks at his hand
"Been a while since a suspended member made me bleed. You pass, go work hard" he says as he walks away from the arena.
I stand there, stupified as he continues walking away. "What the fuck?" I say as I put the training sword down and I walk back into the main guild place.
"You passed?!" The receptionist said in anger.
"Yeah, now give me my new card" I say with an impatient tone.
She grits her teeth and gives me a new card with my rank f on it. I then walk to the quest board and take a quest that's titled 'goblin village extermination' with a party recommendation of at least 3 members.
I hand it to the receptionist and she grins before signing off on it and letting me take it.
'i hope you get slaughtered you fucking perv' she thinks as I walk out of the guild. The streets are quite packed as I pass by a small shop called 'mystic imporiam'. I walk past and out the front gate of the town.
Making my way towards the Forest, I kill a few small horned rabbits and I take their horns to sell at the guild.

I nod at the new skill as I take a step and air forms a platform under my feet. I walk in the air a little bit before I come back down and continue walking on the ground.
Boring.
After awhile I make it to the location designated on the job poster and I hide in a tree with air walk. Already coming on Handy.
A few goblins are patrolling around the outside while the rest are either sitting around or the little baby goblins are playing with their mothers. There seems to be about 25 goblins...
I sigh and raise my hand before I cast {fireball} as a small and dense ball of flaming mana flies fast and Peirces two goblins.
The other goblins screech at me as I jump down from the tree and land in the middle of their camp, the remaining 23 goblins stare at me with clear hostility.
A few of them rush at me and I draw my sword, coating it in a thin layer of mana, before I slice a goblin in half while dodging another ones kick.
I use {air walk} to make a platform for me to push off of to dodge an arrow as I flip backwards. Two more goblins come Infront of me and I slice ones head off and fire a {fireball} at the other, both dying instantly.
With 19 goblins left I use {air walk} again and go into the sky I hold my hands up and mana starts condensing above my hands. The mana starts catching fire as a {fireball} the size of a tailed beast bomb forms. It might not be as powerfull, but it sure as hell has a kick to it.
I move my hands towards the goblins and the huge {fireball} moves slowly towards them, as they shoot arrows at me while I hop around in the air.
Boooom!
A large explosion sounds out as right before the {fireball} hits the ground, I suddenly expell all the mana out and away from the center, creating an explosion of hot fire that turned all the goblins into chared corpses.

I click yes and my body fills with power.

I was a confused and was about to say something until a primal pain surged from the depths of my soul as I started spasming.
After what felt like hours I slowly sat up, groaning as I did so.

I get back to town and enter the guild Hall and I give the receptionist the paper and proof and she begrudgingly gave me the money, 20 copper.
I thank her and leave the building before I walk to the market.

Two weeks later ...
The inside of the inn is filled with gossiping men and women alike. They tell stories about what's going on in the world, or what they are going to order.
I, however have just heard some very interesting news. A dungeon has appeared near this town, which I only just found out was named Archana, just a few miles south.
That is my goal now. To conquer that dungeon to the best of my abilities.
