Chapter 134 - Chapter 134 - Casterly Rock

"So, the White Walkers were created by someone like a sorcerer...?"

"Well, to put it briefly, yes."

"But what's the point? Besides your observation about constructing some structure, I haven't seen any traces of this sorcerer's activity during my time in the North... They can't be building this for themselves, can they?"

"I don't think so. I believe the purpose behind turning people into Walkers is much more complex than cheap labor..."

Seeing John lost in thought, Daenerys decided to encourage him.

"Your Majesty Snow, our goal remains unchanged whether the White Walkers have a purpose or not. In any case, we need to destroy their forces and try to restore their sanity. If that fails, we must destroy them without hesitation. No offense, Lord Bellam."

"None taken. I've actually been thinking about this for a long time. If we determine that there's no hope for saving my friends, I'll be the first on the battlefield."

Hearing this, everyone nodded.

"Alright, now that we all have roughly the same information, we can discuss how we will collaborate in this war, how we'll send troops, supplies, and so on..."

Seeing an opportune moment, Davos decided to ask a question directly related to why they had gathered.

When Davos finished speaking, there was a moment of silence in the hall, but then Tyrion quickly picked up the topic.

"Lord Davos, Your Majesty Snow, once we finish the battle at Casterly Rock and surround the capital, we can move most of our soldiers north, leaving the Tyrells and the Dornish to besiege the capital."

At that moment, one of Daenerys's guards, a sorcerer, received a call on his beetle-shaped phone.

"Buzz, buzz, buzz. You have a call from Contact - Lord Asmodeus Morningstar. Would you like to take the call?"

The man immediately took out his beetle and said,

"Accept the call."

Seeing the man's actions, everyone in the hall fell silent.

Daenerys and Tyrion understood that Asmodeus's call for a member of the Order of the Flame was far more important than their conversations, and they were curious why Charlotte was calling.

Meanwhile, John and Davos noticed the reactions of Daenerys and the others and realized that someone important was calling; they had already seen how Dumbledore spoke to someone using a beetle, so they understood that there was someone on the other end.

Their thoughts were fleeting, and they soon heard the man's voice,

"Your Majesty Morningstar! Yes, I'm right next to Queen Daenerys, yes. Yes, yes, I'll enable the speaker."

Saying this, the man scratched his beetle, and a loud voice echoed in the hall.

"Buzz, switched to speaker mode."

"Hello, everyone. Daenerys, Tyrion, Missandei. Oh, and Jon Snow should already be here too. Well, these greetings aren't that important. I'm calling to let you know that I'm about to launch an attack on Casterly Rock."

Upon hearing this, Daenerys spoke up.

"Lord Morningstar, but weren't we supposed to do this together?"

"I know, Your Majesty, but after conducting a preliminary assessment of the city's defenses, I realized it doesn't make sense. There are fewer than 10,000 infantrymen left. The city is almost empty from a military standpoint. I decided it would be better for us to divide. You will begin constructing siege engines around the capital, while I will eliminate Cersei's remaining forces."

Tyrion was the first to speak.

"Who will command the operation? Lord Damblor or Lord Grindewald?"

"Neither of them. It will be Valchar; he knows better than any of us how to build fortifications. He will join you in a couple of minutes. By the way, tell Dumbledore and Gellert that I called and suggested bringing some students from magic academies and schools to start getting used to war. Especially Hogwarts! Alright, guys, you can reach me in about an hour, maybe two. I'm starting the attack."

"Buzz, call ended. Please assess the call quality after the signal. Beep."

"Thank you, William. You can put the phone away."

"Okay."

When William returned to his place in the hall, there was the sound of air being displaced. Valchar appeared in his human form in the middle of the room.

"Hello, I think Asmodeus has already informed you, but I'll repeat it again. I will oversee the construction of the wall and the surrounding of the Royal Harbor."

Valchar got straight to the point, not giving the others time to think.

Tyrion was the first to approach Valchar; he shook his hand and spoke.

"Good day, Lord Valchar. It's been a while since we last saw each other. I prefer this form of yours more; honestly, last time you frightened me."

Valchar laughed and said,

"Well, I think I'll scare you again. I can only stay in this form for up to 2 hours a day, although I'm trying to explore a new transformation option based on an improved animagus spell by Godric Gryffindor. For now, I've just learned to transform into a different type of tree."

"Ah? Is there a difference?"

"Of course! Being an oak is much worse! I'm trying to become a birch. When you're an oak, it feels like your mind is working slower, but in the form of a birch, you don't have that feeling."

"Oh, interesting..."

Seeing the conversation veer away from the important topic, Daenerys interjected.

"Ahem, Lord Tyrion, Lord Valchar, I don't want to interrupt your discussion on tree species, I genuinely find it interesting, but perhaps we should first begin preparing to move such a large force?"

"Oh, don't worry, Your Majesty, I'm already organizing that process."

"Oh? How?"

"People on the island have already begun boarding ships and brooms at my command."

"Then it's good to hear. By the way, Lord Valchar, do you know what forces Lord Morningstar decided to attack Casterly Rock with?"

"No, I don't know. Honestly, even if it's his second dragon - Unbroken, even without Asmodeus's help, he can easily capture any castle in your world, so there's no need to worry too much."

"I'm worried about my inheritance!!!" - Tyrion thought but said nothing

Meanwhile, Asmodeus stood on Athena and looked down at Casterly Rock. He dialed another number on his phone and said,

"Everyone, attack immediately after my strike! Leave no soldier alive."

Putting the beetle phone in his pocket, Asmodeus took out his staff from behind his back and tapped it twice with his finger. It began to shrink until it turned into a short magical wand. Asmodeus pointed the wand downward, into the space between himself and Affinity, towards the city's outer wall.

"Bombarda máxima firenda!"

A black energy sphere began to form at the tip of the wand, occasionally flashing tongues of flame and lightning around it. Asmodeus gripped the wand between his thumb and pinky, and as he raised his left hand, the black sphere grew larger and larger until Asmodeus realized it was enough. He swiftly thrust both hands forward and downward.

"Boom!"

The spell flew downward, with the sound of air ripping. It wasn't long before an explosion rang out.

"Boom!!!!"

The entire city trembled. The wall that Tywin Lannister had so diligently built and invested money in instantly crumbled, and the piece of rock it stood on quickly fell into the water.

At that moment, when Lannister soldiers throughout the city, who hadn't understood where the attack had come from, looked north, they saw the sea. They couldn't understand where the wall that protected them from the north had gone...

But they couldn't linger on that thought for long. As soon as the part of the cliff on which the city stood submerged, through the breach in the wall, wizards began flying into the city on brooms.

Lannister soldiers didn't even have time to understand why they were dying. Some heard words like,

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Bombarda!!"

"Expulso!"

The wizards flew through the city, killing all soldiers dressed in Lannister uniforms along the way.

The most terrible thing for these soldiers was that even surrendering didn't help; the strange people flying on brooms left no one alive.

This continued for several minutes until someone in the city shouted,

"They only kill those with the Lannister crest, remove your armor urgently!!!"

Hearing this, I don't know how many soldiers quickly started to remove their armor.

But it's not that easy to take off armor; it's quite a laborious process.

But some people were lucky; their armor was damaged, or they didn't fasten their breastplates because they had just been in a brothel.

In short, with such a simple method, a couple of hundred Lannister soldiers avoided being annihilated.

The battle didn't last long, maybe an hour or so. After some time, Asmodeus descended from Athena and saw thousands of soldier corpses scattered throughout the city.

But they didn't interest him; he examined the city's damage and, most importantly, whether there were civilian casualties. He was very pleased with what he saw.

Although in his inspection, he noticed several peasant corpses; they were few.

It was his test for his army: could they cleanly perform their job, killing enemies while trying not to harm civilians.

Honestly, today he was very satisfied.

'Alright, it's time to finish this miserable war. The Walkers are waiting, and Odin hasn't even contacted us yet...'

Thinking about this, Asmodeus lifted Athena into the air and retrieved his phone, saying,

"That's it, we're done here, you can gather. Tomorrow we head towards the Royal Harbor. Everyone will receive a bonus for today's work."
