Chapter 72 - Chapter 72 - Poor Godric

As the authority of the headmaster returned to Dumbledore, he felt a sense of tranquility.

"So, you've posed one question to us. Now, it's our turn. Why has the magical density at Hogwarts increased?"

"It's due to the magical amplifier invented by Nicolas Flamel and Asmodeus Morningstar. It allows the collection of mana in the vicinity and concentrates it in a specific area."

"So, does that mean we can't leave the school...?"

"Well... you might not be able to roam the world freely, but there are four other places in the world with similar devices."

"Where?"

"Well, in Beauxbatons Academy of Magic in France, in Nurmengard in Austria, in the druidic School of Magic, and in the Elysium Academy."

"Okay. Wait, so there are so many magic schools in the world after ours?"

"Um... there are currently 14, to be precise."

"14?!"

"So, after Hogwarts, 13 more schools emerged? And how soon after Hogwarts?"

"Well, three of them appeared in the last six months. The rest gradually developed as the world evolved. For example, the youngest school after Elysium, Nurmengard, and the druidic one is Ilvermorny, founded 300 years ago, by the way, a descendant of Salazar..."

"I have descendants?!"

"Well... sort of..."

"Stop. What is the surname of my so-called descendant?"

"Gaunt..."

"That's the surname of my cousin! There's not a drop of my blood in them, except that we both come from Slytherin!"

"...."

Dumbledore was left speechless; frankly, he had realized that there was much falsehood in the story, but not to this extent.

Seeing both Dumbledore and Salazar in a stupor, Ravenclaw asked another question.

"Uh, how is the situation with hunting wizards now?"

"There isn't any. Well... there are no Muggles left in the world."

"???!"

"???!"

"???!"

"???!"

All four wore expressions of disbelief, transitioning into shock.

Salazar quickly forgot about his suddenly appeared relatives and asked,

"Did you really manage to kill all the Muggles!? Oh my, you're the best generation of wizards I've seen. We were useless..."

"Um, no... Actually, we turned Muggles into wizards."

"?????!"

"?????!"

"?????!"

"?????!"

"Ha-ha-ha, a good joke. I can't believe once again why you're not in Ravenclaw. I clearly instructed Godric's Hat to choose people with a good sense of humor for Ravenclaw."

"I'm not joking, really..."

"What?!"

"How did you do this?! How did Muggles become wizards? Why hasn't a war broken out?!"

Godric seized Dumbledore by the shoulders and shook him.

Godric: ヽ( `д´*)ノ

Dumbledore: (⌒_⌒;)

At that moment, flames erupted in the fireplace, and a peculiar creature leaped out - tall and slender, with four arms, blue veins coursing through its body, and eyes that glowed as if peering into the soul.

"Release Albus!"

Seeing Albus in danger (or at least that's what Nicolas thought), he swiftly sent Godric flying with a single blow.

Nicolas: (‡▼益▼)

Dumbledore: (・・ )?

Godric: (╥_╥)

Rowena: (¬_¬)

Salazar: (^▽^)

Helga: (″ロ゛)

In that moment, a silence enveloped the room.

"Um, is this one of those you called...?"

Rowena looked at Nicolas with interest, particularly trying to understand how he managed to transform his body using alchemy.

"Ahem, Nicolas, calm down. These are the founders of Hogwarts. I am safe."

"Ha? Then why did Fawkes come urgently with a request for you to come, and what was that bearded guy doing shaking you by the shoulders?"

"Ahem, that's Godric Gryffindor... He just got a bit too excited when he heard that there are no Muggles in the world now..."

"And that's it?"

"And that's it. You just beat up a thousand-year-old man for no reason..."

"Hmm, he's not a thousand years old; I'm 666 years old, and he looks like a youngster in front of me."

Rowena: It seems I heard something interesting!

"Um, forget about Godric. Nicolas, what do they call you? You said you're 666 years old? So, you've truly lived for 666 years, without falling into a deep sleep, without freezing yourself, or sealing yourself away? Truly, a full 666 years?"

"Um... It's the first time I've seen someone so interested in me. I must mention, I'm married! But yes, I was born on March 22, 1330, and have lived all this time."

As Nicolas spoke, he gradually returned to his normal appearance. The extra pair of arms retracted into his body, the hair on his head regrew, and the glow in his eyes vanished.

Rowena looked with surprise at a man who now appeared roughly the same age as Salazar, maybe 10 years older.

"Okay, forget about my previous question. Now I'm more curious about why you can change your body like that and how you've lived for so long. Is your transformation some kind of werewolf or vampire thing?"

"Er, a werewolf? No, definitely not! It's the result of many factors—evolution, magic fusion, human alchemy, and so on. Do you think achieving my current form is that simple? As for my immortality, I created the Philosopher's Stone, an alchemical tool that allows the production of the Elixir of Life, preventing me from dying."

Hearing Nicolas's response, Dumbledore mumbled quietly, "Hmm, the whole world thought you made just one stone, turns out you have a whole basement of them..."

At that moment, flames once again erupted in the fireplace, and Grindelwald leaped out with a third eye open and his wand pointed forward.

"Who are Albus's enemies?!"

"Wait, wait, wait. There are no enemies, Gellert! Lower your wand!"

Albus urgently stopped Gellert.

"Huh? No enemies? Then why the urgent call?"

"To meet the founders of Hogwarts! Why did both you and Nicolas think I was in danger?! Am I really that weak?"

"Well, without Asmodeus, who knows how you would have dealt with the Voldemort situation..."

"Oh, come on!"

Albus returned displeased to his chair.

Seeing that everything settled again, Ravenclaw wanted to say something but suddenly felt something.

This time, she didn't watch what was happening with a playful smile. Instead, she pulled out her wand and was on guard.

Flames in the fireplace once again flickered, and from it emerged a creature unfamiliar to the founders. It seemed humanoid, but this being consisted of tightly compressed flames at the top and wind at the bottom. Even in this state, the upper part of this creature had distinct human features.

Rowena and Salazar tensed. If they felt a threat but not a critical one from the previous two visitors, they distinctly felt equal power from this entity.

"Hey, Asmodeus, can you return to your human form? They are not enemies. Albus forgot to warn us!"

Nicholas quickly told Asmodeus to return to his normal state. If Asmodeus was to start a battle in an elemental state... I fear half of Hogwarts could be blown away.

Seeing how fire and wind gradually compressed, transforming into the flesh of a human, Rowena and Salazar hid their wands again.

"Ha, Albus, why did you summon me if nothing critical happened? I had to let the class go 20 minutes early because of you!"

"God, who knew you would come fully armed just because I called you to meet with the quartet of Hogwarts founders!"

"How are we supposed to understand Fawkes' chirping? All we understood is that you urgently called us to your office!"

"Alright, you two, but Asmodeus can speak with dragons! Why didn't he understand Fawkes' words either?!"

"Because I only speak with my pets?! What the hell do you think, I'll learn to speak bird language?! Especially the language of a phoenix! It's the rarest bird in the world!"

Seeing the quartet arguing, the founders seemed as if they saw themselves in their youth when they were just planning to build Hogwarts...

Well, of course, three out of the four founders. Godric was still in a state of shutdown after Nicolas's hook with the iron arm.
