Ben introduced himself, "I am Ben Tennyson, and William family Son-in-law," the mention of the William family led to a subtle shift in the atmosphere. Natasha and Clint, recognizing the significance of the William name, lowered their weapons, showing a respect that ran deep.
However, Tony Stark and Steve Rogers maintained their combat-ready stance, still cautious.
Ben then gestured towards his son, "He is my son, Ethan Frost Tennyson. I want to introduce him to the Avengers and potentially add him to your team."
The unexpected purpose diffuses the tension in the air. Tony and Steve, realizing there was no immediate threat, gradually relaxed. They exchanged glances, silently acknowledging the unique situation.
With a nod from Tony, the Avengers adjusted their posture, and seats were arranged for everyone. Ben and Ethan took their places nearby.
Tony looked at his team, receiving nods indicating that neither Natasha, Clint, nor Bruce recognized Ben or Ethan.
Facing Ben and Ethan, Tony questioned, "Since you're not threats, that's a start. But why should we add your son to our team? Not just anyone gets to be an Avenger."
Steve Rogers chimed in, supporting Tony's concerns. "I agree with Tony. This isn't child's play. We face danger every day, and there's a real risk of getting killed."
Ben nodded with them, "I understand the dangers you face daily. I wouldn't bring him here if he were a liability. You need to know, he's not some weakling."
The Avengers listened, still reserved but willing to hear more about Ethan's capabilities and the reasons behind Ben's proposition.
"So, what can he do?" Steve inquired, seeking to understand Ethan's capabilities.
"Why not have someone spar with him?" Ben suggested. "Okay, I'll test him," Natasha agreed, stepping forward as the combat specialist. She and Ethan entered the training room, and everyone gathered outside, observing the combat through the transparent window.
Natasha assumed a combat position. "Ethan, apologies in advance if you get hurt," she warned before launching into action.
"No need to apologize. I'm sorry for what's about to happen to you," Ethan replied calmly. His hands transformed into vines, swiftly capturing Natasha and slamming her to the ground relentlessly.
Despite Natasha's attempts to cut the vines with her knife and use her taser, the plant-based restraints proved resilient. In a matter of minutes, Natasha found herself overpowered, and Ethan emerged victorious.
The Avengers were left in shock witnessing how easily Ethan had handled Natasha, leaving her unconscious. Witnessing this unexpected display of power, exchanged glances, impressed and intrigued by Ethan's unique abilities.
After Bruce splashed some water on her face, she woke up, bewildered by what had transpired. "What happened, guys?" she asked, only to realize she had lost to Ethan. She looked at him with surprise.
"So, your son can turn his body into vines and launch attacks," Steve noted, impressed by Ethan's abilities.
"No, that was just a teaser of his power. Tony, why not give it a try?" Ben proposed, extending the challenge to Tony.
"Why? In this training room, there's little space, and he could quickly capture me. In a real fight, he wouldn't be able to capture me," Tony declined, providing his reasoning.
"He won't use the vine attack," Ben proposed again.
After some thought, Tony agreed. "Fine, but if he uses the vine attack, he loses." He entered the training room with Ethan.
"Ethan, surrender yourself, or my weapons will be dangerous," Tony warned as he prepared to fire his attacks.
"Try it," Ethan replied confidently. "But don't blame me when you cry to your dad," Tony retorted, starting to unleash a barrage of bullets.
Ethan transformed himself into diamond, rendering all the attacks useless against his hardened form. He took a leap, swiftly slamming Tony to the ground. Using the sharp diamond, he broke through Tony's suit, rendering it useless.
"My best suit is destroyed," Tony sighed, while the Avengers watched in awe, impressed by Ethan's display of power.
"So, how is he?" Ben asked, looking towards the Avengers.
"He's good," Steve said, engaging in a discussion with the team. After a brief exchange of nods and opinions, he declared, "We've accepted him into our team."
With the Avengers reaching the decision, Ethan Tennyson became a member of the Avengers.
Steve Rogers, extended a hand to Ethan. "Welcome to the Avengers, Ethan. We're a family here, and we look out for each other."
Tony Stark, flashed a charismatic smile. "You've just joined the coolest team on the planet. Get ready for some incredible adventures."
Natasha Romanoff, nodded approvingly. "It's not easy earning a spot on this team. Impressive work out there."
Hawkeye, offered a friendly clap on the shoulder. "Looking forward to fighting side by side, kid."
Bruce Banner, still in his human form, added, "You've got some impressive abilities, Ethan. We'll find a way to make the most of them."
As the Avengers celebrated the addition of Ethan to the team, the atmosphere was suddenly charged with the arrival of Thor. The God of Thunder entered the room, Mjolnir in hand, and his eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Ben and Ethan.
Tony Stark, quick-witted as ever, attempted to introduce Ben and Ethan, but Thor, with a friendly smile, interrupted, "No need for formalities. Tell me, why are you here?"
Ben chuckled, appreciating Thor's directness. "We're here because Ethan has joined the Avengers. He's now part of this incredible team."
Thor's eyes sparkled with intrigue. "Ah, new comrades! Welcome to the Avengers, Ethan. May your days be filled with valor and triumph."
The Avengers, amused by Thor's straightforward approach, exchanged glances, realizing that the God of Thunder had already known about the new members to the team.
The Avengers, surprised by Thor's familiarity with Ben and Ethan, exchanged puzzled glances. Natasha Romanoff voiced the question, which was on everyone's minds, "How do you know them, Thor?"
Thor, with a twinkle in his eye, began to explain. "When I first arrived in Midgard, I found myself in New Jersey. There, I encountered Ben."
He went on to narrate another encounter, revealing, "In 2012, when a nuclear missile threatened the planet, it was Ben who saved us."
Thor continued, "And just last year, while investigating some anomalies in London related to Jane Foster, I met Ben's son, Ethan, and his daughter, Maria."
Clint, couldn't resist probing further. "So, you've been adventuring with these guys? Why didn't you mention it before?"
"I am talking about, keep patience," Thor said as he delved into more details, Tony and Steve, ever inquisitive, asked for more information.
"When I first came to Midgard, my partners came to find and bring me back to Asgard. One of them is Lady Sif," Thor continued.
Curiosity sparked among the Avengers, and Natasha inquired, "So what happened?"
Thor revealed, "Ben and Lady Sif developed a romantic encounter between them. Lady Sif became pregnant with Ben's child."
Clint Barton, Hawkeye, was visibly shocked. "Ben has made an Asgardian his wife?"
Thor continued his narrative, "Last year, when I came to London, I brought Ben with his son and daughter to Asgard. There, Ben met his son Sigurd, who was born from Lady Sif. So, he became Asgard's Son-in-law."
He added another remarkable detail, "Ben also saved Asgard from the Dark Elves' leader, Malekith. My father, Odin, has announced in Asgard that Ben's son, Sigurd, will become the next King of Asgard."
The Avengers, already amazed by the tales of Ben's heroism, looked at him with newfound interest.
As Ethan settled into his new role within the Avengers, the time came for Ben to bid him farewell. Ben, standing tall and proud, looked at his son and commanded, "Learn the best tactics, Ethan. Use your powers wisely. Become the best fighter you can be."
Steve Rogers, Captain America, offered reassurance. "We'll make sure he gets the best training, Ben. He's in good hands."
With a nod of gratitude, Ben turned to Ethan. "I'll be back, son. Until then, make me proud."
Ethan, determined and ready for the challenges ahead, nodded in response. "I will, Dad."
With those parting words, Ben took to the skies, leaving the Avengers Tower and flying back to the William Home. As he soared through the clouds, he carried with him the hope and confidence that his son would grow into a formidable Avenger, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
And from then on every family member of Ben sat in the living room, to see what their son Ethan is doing through the Upgrade TV.
Emma can't help but blushed when the family found out, like his dad Ben, Ethan also quickly adjusted in the team, and he has taken down Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow under his Dragon.
It shows Ben Tennyson's genes and habit also included in him, not even a month has happened till Ethan became the newest member of Avengers, and he started playing with Natasha Sacred and Nether Region with his Dragon.
Ben gives a chuckle, and they continue to enjoy their son's adventure while Ben also makes his bond with his son Lucas, and daughters Olivia and Lily. His oldest daughter Maria cheered whenever Ethan defeated the villians and saved the city.
"Dad, I also want to fight like the brother," Maria asked Ben, while amazed by his brother Ethan's adventure.
"You are not even ten years old, my baby, and your brother is mid-thirty years old. Wait until you are 18 years old, so I will introduce you in Avengers." Ben declined giving the valid reason.
"You are a biased dad," Maria poured, but Ben's tickling and pecking made her sulking face turn into a smiling one. She forgot about the fighting like her brother, after understanding her dad's reason.
