Chereads / Journey Of Ben Tennyson / Chapter 5 - Miracle Reborn

Chapter 5 - Miracle Reborn

In the wake of Ben's heroic sacrifice, the multiverse was forever changed. The loss of the hero who had bridged different dimensions left a void that was felt throughout the interconnected universes.

Four years had elapsed since that fateful day when Ben sacrificed himself. Despite the passage of time, the impact lingered in the lives of those who knew him.

Kevin and Gwen continued to pay tribute to Ben on their marriage anniversary, choosing to commemorate his sacrifice rather than celebrating their own union.

Grandpa Max found solace in retirement, spending most of his time in the Ben 23 Universe. The bond between him and Ben 23 grew stronger, providing a unique grandfather-grandson connection. As Ben 23 had lost his Grandpa Max in childhood and Prime Universe Grandpa Max mourned the loss of his Ben, they became pillars of support for each other.

Grandma Verdona opted to live with Ben 900 and Gwen 900 in their universe. Filled with pride, she admired Ben 900's proficiency as a good Anodite user.

In a twist of fate, Carl and Sandra Tennyson chose to live with Bad Ben Tennyson and Julie Yamamoto. Despite his troubled past, Bad Ben made a crucial decision: he reclaimed the Omnitrix with the condition that he would turn over a new leaf.

Having lost his family in childhood, Bad Ben lacked guidance on distinguishing between right and wrong. With the support of Carl and Sandra, he embraced the opportunity for change. Over time, he transformed from Bad Ben to Good Ben.

Accepting the mantle of Ben, he committed himself to safeguarding the Ben Universe from looming threats.

Young Ben continued his adventures with Young Gwen and Grandpa Max, creating memories that echoed the earlier heroic days.

Meanwhile, Ultimate Ben and Julie Tennyson focused on crafting a bright future for their child, Danny Tennyson.

Intermittently, these generations of Tennysons convened, sharing experiences and joy. Ben 10000 and Kai Tennyson often joined them, creating a bond between the younger ones, with Danny playing alongside Gwendolyn Tennyson.

Ben 1000, having overcome his tragic past, embraced happiness with Gwen 10. The couple welcomed a daughter, Elara Tennyson, into their lives.

Striving for unity, Ben 1000 returned the Negatrix to Nega Ben, inviting him and Mad Ben to join forces as guardians of the Omnitrix Multiverse.

In this alliance, they utilized their unique strengths, upgrading and perfecting the Omnitrix to safeguard it against threats from the Plague Multiverse. Together, they stood as the protectors of the Omnitrix Multiverse.

In these four years of seemingly normal lives, the pain of Ben's sacrifice began to heal, providing a sense of solace to those who had felt the weight of his absence. However, unbeknownst to everyone, something extraordinary was unfolding.

The shattered remains of the two Omnitrixes that had been destroyed were inexplicably coming together. From every corner of the Omnitrix Multiverse, the scattered pieces began a mysterious reunion, slowly and painstakingly reconnecting.

It was as if the very essence of the multiverse sought to mend what had been broken. The process was a mysterious one, and it unfolded over the course of those four years, and remained hidden from the awareness of those who had once grappled with the loss of Ben.

Unbeknownst to all, the reunion of these shattered Omnitrix pieces continued, each fragment strangely connected to Ben Tennyson's unique DNA.

As they merged, an extraordinary event transpired – every piece incorporated Ben's blood and DNA, intricately linking with the central component of the Omnitrix itself.

It started forming with the first bone, then step by step, Omnitrix fragments weaving together to shape the skeletal structure. Over the course of six years it continued.

As the integration continued, the Omnitrix's fragments started the reconstruction of Ben's body. Flesh emerged, layer by layer, integrating with the amalgamation of alien technology. Blood vessels intertwined with the metallic remnants, carrying life through the intricate network.

Organs materialized in an awe-inspiring sequence, each piece of the Omnitrix contributing to the formation of Ben's heart, liver, kidneys, and brain.

This was no mere mechanical restoration; it was a metaphysical rebirth. Over time, the Omnitrix's transformative not only reconstructed Ben's physical form but also revitalized his entire being, breathing life back into the hero.

Yet, to the astonishment of the Tennyson family, friends, and even the seasoned multiverse traveler Professor Paradox, none of them were aware of this extraordinary miracle.

As Ben woke up, opening his eyes, he was still in a bit of a haze, trying to figure out what had happened. His head was swirling with confusion, and he struggled to make sense of what had transpired. He felt a bit lost, not fully grasping the situation, leaving him in a fog of uncertainty.

Although Ben was confused, a bit groggy and still in that half-dreamy state. Without even fully realizing it, out of habit, he went to do what he always did. He reached for his wrist, the usual move to activate his Omnitrix. But this time, something was off. There was nothing there, no Omnitrix on his wrist at all.

For a moment, he was like, "Wait, what?" and you could see the confusion on his face. Then, boom! Panic hit him like a wave. It's that intense feeling when you realize you might have lost something really important.

His heart starts racing, he starts searching everywhere on his body, frantically trying to find the Omnitrix. It was a big deal for him because the Omnitrix wasn't just a cool gadget – It was more than a loss; it felt like a part of him was gone, a crucial link to his identity and purpose and his responsibility.

As the moments unfolded, the fog of panic began to lift, and Ben's mind began to replay the events of the past six years. It slowly became clear that the absence of the Omnitrix wasn't a mere misplacement or malfunction.

It had undergone a profound transformation, in a way that surpassed the boundaries of physical understanding.

It was now not a separate entity on his wrist but an integral part of his very being, forever entwined with his essence. It merges with Ben on a level beyond the physical.

He found himself not just physically altered but emotionally connected to the device in an unprecedented way.

The Omnitrix pieces, once scattered, had not just reassembled themselves; they had fused with Ben's very soul, forging an unbreakable bond.

This connection went beyond a mere physical union – it meant that Ben had become something extraordinary, a living immortal.

Even if his body were to endure unimaginable destruction, the Omnitrix-infused essence ensured a perpetual reformation.

With every "death," the time required for his regeneration diminished. It was a phenomenon that left people in awe of his incredible resilience and survival.

The once-mortal hero had unwittingly transcended the boundaries of mortality, embodying a newfound resilience that defied the conventional understanding of life and death.

As Ben recalled his experience of being blasted in his Gray Matter form, he couldn't help but think about Azmuth. Because Gray Matter Brain is only second to Azmuth's.

With the fusion of his body and the Omnitrix, Ben discovered a newfound ability – he no longer needed Omnitrix to activate it. A mere thought was enough to unlock the alien powers within him, eliminating the need for a physical transformation.

Much like Ultimate Ben, who seamlessly harnessed alien abilities without assuming their forms.

Yet, the extraordinary didn't stop there. Merging with two Omnitrixes had elevated his alien powers to new heights, making them ten times more potent than before.

What truly astonished Ben was the ability to tap into the powers of fusion aliens. Just like Ben 10000 and his Biomnitrix, Ben could now combine the strengths of two aliens into one formidable entity.

"It's unbelievable. I never thought I'd achieve this level of power," Ben marvelled, struck by the sheer magnitude of his newfound abilities.

The sense of amazement continued to unfold for Ben as he discovered even more extraordinary capabilities. The once-elusive Alien X was now under his complete control; negotiating with Serena and Bellicus was a thing of the past. Among the Celestialsapiens, he had become the ultimate authority.

"It's just like how Ben 1000 was able to freely control Alien X. Now I can do it too," Ben marveled, realizing the extent of his newfound abilities.

The amazement escalated further as he uncovered the final piece of the puzzle – mastery of mana. The Anodite life, dormant within the Tennyson bloodline, now responded to his command. While Gwen had harnessed mana, and Ben 900 had wielded it skillfully, it had always eluded Ben. Yet, now it flowed through him like a second nature.

"I could never quite grasp how Gwen harnessed mana, or how Ben 900 used it. But now, it's like second nature to me. It's truly astonishing," Ben marvelled at the depth of his newfound capabilities. Today, he had gained more than he could have ever imagined.

In the extensive history of the Tennyson family spanning 200 years, Ben became the fourth member to master the art of harnessing mana.

Realizing the need to catch up on the events that transpired during his absence in the Omnitrix Multiverse, Ben activated Clockwork, utilizing its time powers to gain insights.

He first focused on his own family. "So Bad Ben has transformed into Good Ben, now residing with Mom and Dad, and embracing the responsibility of saving the Ben Universe. Well, that's good for him," Ben acknowledged the positive transformation within his family.

Turning his attention to Grandpa Max, he observed, "So he's living with Ben 23. It's beneficial for Ben 23; he'll learn a lot from Grandpa."

"And Grandma," Ben continued after glimpsing into her life, "Is leading a happy existence with Gwen 900 and Ben 900. She's dedicated to imparting Anodite powers to Gwen and finds immense joy in teaching Ben 900. It warms my heart to see her so content."

Next he turned his attention toward Ben 1000 and Gwen 10, "They now have a daughter and a son, and Ben 1000 has even united Mad Ben and Nega Ben in saving the Omnitrix Multiverse," he commented, relieved to see the positive changes.

"Now that everything is well and good, it's time to fulfill my dream. I was ready to embark on a journey across the Multiverse after Gwen's wedding, but unforeseen circumstances led to my sacrifice. Since I've been reborn, it's time to travel the entire Multiverse," Ben muttered with determination. Opening Professor Paradox's location, he prepared to find the enigmatic time traveler.

Upon arriving at Professor Paradox's place, Ben noticed the Professor was immersed in some serious writing. However, his curiosity was quickly drawn to a peculiar tree nearby, its branches adorned with a variety of names. Unable to resist, he inquired, "Professor, what are you doing?"

Caught off guard, Professor Paradox nearly jumped out of his skin. But once he realized it was Ben, his face lit up with joy, and he pulled Ben into a tight hug.

"Ben! You're alive! I thought I had lost you. You have no idea how much it pained me to discover all these fascinating places without anyone to share my discoveries," He said.

Amid the warm reunion, Professor Paradox couldn't help but wonder how Ben was alive. He decided to check on his Omnitrix Multiverse Population Device and Time Watch, essential tools for maintaining the balance of time and existence within the Omnitrix Multiverse.

He began to explain their importance, "You see, the Time Watch is designed to capture even the tiniest disturbances in time. Something as small as a leaf falling differently in the past can have enormous consequences in the present, even leading to the destruction of entire universes. So, Azmuth and I created these devices to protect the multiverse's integrity. They act as guardians against any meddling with the time continuum, helping to identify those who attempt to disrupt the balance."

Amid his explanation, Professor Paradox delved into a detailed account of the Omnitrix Multiverse Population Device.

"The Omnitrix Multiverse Population Device is another crucial component. It meticulously records every DNA that is born and dies, making it an all-time record-keeping device for the Omnitrix Multiverse. It helps us recognize when someone has entered from another Multiverse," Professor Paradox explained.

However, when Ben returned, Professor Paradox didn't receive any warning of temporal disruption on the Time Watch. So, he decided to check it on the Omnitrix Multiverse Population Device.

To his amazement and confusion, Ben's DNA on the Omnitrix Multiverse Population Device showed that he did not even exist in the universe. This left Professor Paradox both amazed and confused, as just a few days ago, the device had indicated Ben's death. Now, without any warning, it automatically erased his existence.
