As he was wheeled into the room by one of the tyrant's goons Michael realized that the room was rearranged. Most of the medical equipment was gone. There were fresh sheets on the bed, new curtains at the windows, and three suits of clothes on the bottom of the bed. He looked down at himself and sighed as he was still wearing the blue hospital gown. The room does look more appealing though, he thought looking around.
The goon helped him from the wheelchair to the bed before leaving the room. Liah glanced around the room but said nothing. There was a lot she didn't say but her expression speaks volumes, disgust was the strongest of her emotions at the present moment. No matter how pleasant the room was, in her eyes it was still a prison which should be as upsetting to him as it was to her, so why wasn't it?
With a heavy sigh, she turns to him. "How are you feeling?" She asks watching him as he stretches his muscles. "Relieve to be free from my bandages." He replied leaning his head slowly from left to right.
"Are you in any pain?" "A little, mostly my head but it doesn't bother me much. Do you mind if I ask you more questions about your god?" He asks still stretching.
"Not at all, go ahead." "Merci, you have read a lot about your God but you neglect to mention where he is from. You said in the beginning God created heaven and earth but Who created God?" He asks. "Okay, well, no one knows where god came from, he was just there." She said
"You said every creation needs a creator, so who created your God?' He has to come from somewhere." "Well, as far as I know, no human knows the answer to that question, that is one of God's mysteries." She smiles. "So how do you know he exist and did all that book says he did?" he asks. "Well because this book says that he exists and that he did all it says he did."
"How accurate is that book?" "Well seeing as though it was written a very long time ago but was still able to predict all the violence, perverseness, and many other things that are happening in the world right now, I would say very accurate."
"Nothing has changed under the sun, that's what you said. those things were also happening back then, so how do we know they weren't speaking of the events back then?" "Well, because most of the things written in this book happened long after this book was written." She explains.
"Without this book, how do you know he exists?" He asks. "Because I can feel his presence all around me, every day." "I do not feel his presence." He states. "That's because you haven't surrendered your life to him yet and invited him into your heart."
"Surrender?" He asks confused. "Well, yes. To be a follower of God, you've to surrender to his will, let him guide your life and then you've to use your talents, time, and money to do his will." 'Please explain." "Okay, so you've to use your time to share his words with the unsaved like I'm doing with you right now. You use whatever talent you have whether it be singing, dancing, writing, or acting. You use them to help share his word to others, use them for good not evil." She explains.
"Then you throw your tithes and offering at church. This money will be used to help spread God's word to as many people as possible, so in short, you've to surrender your all to his will." "So how is God any different from the tyrant that runs this place?" He asks in a serious tone.
"Michael, no, you can't compare God to Razor, no way, but don't worry, God will forgive you for saying that because he knows that you don't fully understand yet. It's going to take a while for me to explain the word of God to you in detail but I promise you that when I do, you'll then see just how wrong you are." She said in an offended tone.
"It was not my intention to offend you but Your God eliminates people that don't obey him and so does the tyrant, so I do not see a difference."
"The difference is God gives us free will, we can choose to submit to him or not. Razor doesn't give any of us a choice." She said angrily. "True, your God gives us two choices, sin and die or submit to him and live, so what he's saying is submitting to him is the only way we are going to survive. The tyrant is basically saying the same thing." He points out
"Okay I can see why you would say that, but if you sin and ask God's forgiveness, he will forgive you, wipe your past sins away, and welcome you back with open arms, not shoot you." She states "Razor is Satan." She adds.
"Satan? The snake that caused the first woman God made to disobey him, right?" He asks. "Yes." "So where did Satan come from?" He asks. "That's a long story." She said with a sigh. "We are not going anywhere." He points out. "Okay I'll explain in detail where Satan came from but first I think you should change." She said pushing the pile of clothes closer to him. He turns his head slowly and looks at the pile of clothes next to him, he then runs his hand over the pants. "What material is this?" He asks.
"It's jeans." "Jeans?" "Yeah, you know, blue jeans or Demin." "Demin? it's very rough." Again she was baffled by his response. "You've never worn jeans before?" She asks her eyes wide. "I don't know." He said with a frown. "Okay let me help you to try them on." He nodded slowly but said nothing.
She finished his outfit by putting the socks on his feet and couldn't help but smile at how uncomfortable he looked in the jeans and T-shirt. These were clearly not his style. Who was this man and where in this universe did he come from? She wondered.
"Are you okay?" She asks biting her bottom lip to stop herself from laughing. "These are itchy." He said rubbing his back against the chair. "Sorry, but it's either these or the hospital gown." She said still smiling. "I will manage."
Liah was in the process of explaining where Satan came from when the young girl brought on two plates of K F C chicken, fries, biscuits, and corn on the cob along with two bottles of sodas. This time it was her brother who accompanied the girl.
"Well-well-well look who doesn't resemble a mummy anymore," Anthony said with a laugh. "The doctor said you can eat solid food again, so enjoy." He said pointing to the plates. "Liah, mama send you a few puzzle books and a few books to read. You can find words until your heart's content." He laughs.
"But um, sis, I've noticed that you don't seem so itchy to go home anymore, am I to assume you've grown fond of your accommodations or is it the company?" Anthony asks with a mischievous smile.
"Anthony," Liah warns with a slight blush of embarrassment. "Oh come on, don't tell me you haven't noticed what a nice piece of eye candy he is?" "Anthony!" Liah shouts standing from her chair, both hands folded in fists.
"Alright- alright." Her brother laughs putting both his hands up as in surrender. "Now all I'm saying is, is, you can't remain a virgin forever and you can only lose it once, so who would you rather lose it to, this piece of eye candy right here? Plain- boring David? Or Razor and his men? Just saying. You children have fun now, you hear." Anthony said giggling.
He then indicates with his head for the girl to leave first, he then dances backward from the room while wiggling his brows.
