"Order! Order!" The old husky voice resounded again, and Kodak could finally see the face of the speaker. It was an old looking man, with white long beard and light skin. he wore a white robe that had a gold belt placed on his chest, and in his hand was a gold staff with a white gem on it.
"I thank you all for waiting as I have yet another bad news." Orion the god of knowledge softly spoke, turning his head to the remaining gods.
Kodak could see that there were about six gods in total, excluding the speaker and him. He had been asked by kira to keep shut as he was in the midst of the best of the best gods, and he didn't want to stir up a rackus and cause trouble.
"Thank you for the sound enhancement spell faize." Orion the god of knowledge smiled towards a god, and Kodak could see it was the same skinny god that wore glasses.
"And what about me. huh?" Boron the god of thunder protested. Nexus stared at boron weirdly, before returning to Kodak as her lips were pursed upwards.
"W-what's her deal?" Kodak thought uncomfortably, as he could feel her piercing eyes staring at him from afar.
"What do you mean thank you? Without me there wouldn't be a you." Faize face contorted.
"What! Are you looking for trouble boy?"
"Maybe.."
"Why you.."
"Enough!" Peels of lightning flashed through the room, as a voice spoke with authority. The others immediately backed down, lowering their heads a little.
"Without me there wouldn't be both of you." The god besides kira, who had his hands crossed spoke in a calm tone.
"T-thanks for that Zack." Orion gestured, as he continued speaking. "As we all know planets are being destroyed by the creatures from the dark realm but that not all."
"I-i just received word that someone from the dark realm killed a god."
"What!"
"I-impossible." Faize and boron both exclaimed, while the other gods faces went pale. Kodak's head was spinning, as he was having a headache right now.
"I-it can't be." He muttered.
'A god killed by something from the dark realm.. impossible! weren't gods immortal beings.'
"Look I know it's a shock to us but our powers aren't what they used to be." Orion bent his head down in frustration.
"What do you mean? We're stronger than ever." Faize declared, but was quickly shunned by Zack.
"No! we're not."
"H-how do you mean?" Nexus asked, getting involved in the conversation.
"Far too many planets have fallen or gotten conquered by the dark realm which in turn greatly affects our disciples and worshippers there." Zack softly said.
"I know not all of us have disciples but we draw power from our worshippers so what do you think would happen If they stopped worshipping us?"
"We become weak." Kira chucked in.
"Exactly.. now the captured survivors will be forced by the dark realm to worship them which in turn gives them more power than us."
"B-but doesn't the worshippers have to believe in them or something." Kodak butted in as they all stared at him with complicated eyes.
"Am afraid fear can be more powerful than faith my child." Orion meakly said shaking his head. Kodak seeing the defeated look on their faces felt anger rising inside him. He wasn't just going to let some stupid creatures, take all that the gods had suffered to build.
"B-but there has to be a way." Kodak shouted hope in his eyes.
"Look I like your courage kid but there's no-"
"There's a way." Zack calmly spoke leaving the rest confused.
"What do you mean there's a way?" Kira asked with glistening eyes.
"Think about it they have a power source which their feeding from so if we cut off their power source we weaken them." Zack boldly stated.
"And by cutting off their power source you mean killing the worshippers right?" Nexus smiled slightly.
"Yes." Zack nodded in confirmation.
"Y-you're mad Zack." Faize replied, shocked at the sudden suggestion from Zack. "If we kill them doesn't that mean we'll also lose?"
"Yes." Zack said again. "But neither party will win." He boldy stated without any reaction.
"This isn't some game you know." Boron shouted, finally lost it. "You can't just sacrifice lives like they mean nothing to you."
"Yes it's a game and I can." Zack said in a deep voice, causing boron to stare at him with complicated eyes.
"Look this is a war and we're currently losing.. we are gods sacrificing a few lives for the greater good is not all bad."
'But-"
"There's no buts." Zack yelled his anger starting to rise. "If we stay still and sit back the enemies will slowly wipe us out one by one."
"Zack's right." Kira suddenly blurted out.
"What?" Kodak said in shock. Never in his life, would he expect kira to say those words. He'd always known the god of fire to have a calm and understanding attitude, but it looked like something had snapped in him.
"As much as I hate to say it if we don't act now and get rid of the thorns we'll be wiped out in an instance." Kira then turned to Kodak with teary eyes. "Including you and your family Kodak."
Those words hit Kodak's head hard, as he was lost for words. He'd become a messanger in hopes to acquire power and become stronger, to protect the ones he loved. He was never going to let any harm befall them, as they meant so much to him than any other thing.
But hearing that other innocent lives were about to be split didn't sit well with him, but there was nothing he could do.
'A-at least it's not them.' He said to reassure himself, and give his heart a bit of serenity to calm his guilt.
"Does anyone else here agrees with Zack." Orion asked as the room fell silent for a while, but slowly the hands of the gods were being raised including orion's.
"Very well.. we shall start eradicating the planets captured by the dark realm." He said as they all then stood up, heading forward to the huge red curtain in front. Upon reaching the red curtain, it suddenly parted into two displaying a huge mirror like object.
"This is planet orlca.. it is mainly habited by orcs but other creatures dwell there also." Orion pointed to a strange small planet coloured dark and green.
"The people here worshipped us but they've now been captured by the dark realm and enslaved." Orion's voice contained a hint of sadness. "Who would like to do the honours."
Zack was about to volunteer himself, but the other female god in the room who hadn't spoken before stepped forward, her ash coloured robe swaying gently to the side.
"Give them peace." Orion said as she nodded her head. pointing her fingers forward, the mana around her exploded like a shooting star pushing Kodak back who quickly caught hold of kiras arm.
"Sky blaze." She muttered those words, as a huge blazing tornado the size of the planet formed in space, slowly heading for the planet.
Kodak couldn't believe his eyes. 'air in space? Impossible...' but it was happening before his very eyes. He still found it hard to believe though, he then saw that the blazing tornado was close to the planet as it was just a few meters from it.
'I-it's for the greater good.' He chanted in his head.
'Boom!' As soon as the menancing blazing tornado hit the planet, a huge explosion resounded as the planet exploded to bits in space. No signs of remains or life existed there anymore.
'A whole civilization destroyed.' Kodak inwardly thought as he watched behind, his heart plummeted to his guts as he could feel his body go numb.
'Just a single spell was able to do that then how strong are the gods?' He said in his heart. If the gods were this strong, then that would mean the enemies were more stronger than this.
'W-what if that was us." Kodak said, his heart beating wildly as the thought of all those people he loved on earth, being wiped away like paper burnt to ashes.
-----------
After just witnessing the destruction of a planet, Kodak was asked to return home to earth to take some time off before his next mission.
"Who's she?" Kodak asked, referring to the female god who controlled air like that in space.
"Oh! That's Freya she's the god of air." Kira said continuing his walk. They were heading to the teleporting room, where Kodak would then be teleported back to earth. Kira was much needed here on the temple, so he was going to stay here until everything was resolved.
"Hey!" They heard a voice called out from hehind. Turning round, they could see nexus running towards them. The battle suit she wore made sure to hold her cleavages in place, but they still shook under their hold with her every movement.
"Hey! Wait up." She called out, finally reaching them as she bent down a bit huffing in large amounts of air.
'T-this woman what's she doing.' Kodak's eye couldn't help but occasionally glance at her perfectly round ass, that was slightly raised to his view. He didn't know if she was doing this on purpose, but he sure knew he was struggling to control his urges as a man.
"W-what do you want nexus?" Kira asked with a frown, knowing her games.
"Hey! that's no way to treat a lady." She retorted, coldly staring at kira.
"I just wanted to talk to you Kodak." She smiled staring into his eyes. Several alarms went off in Kodak's head as she clung to his arm, her cleavages slightly pressing against his arm.
"M-me?" Kodak stuttered trying to fight his body.
"Yes! Of course." Nexus playfully replied, clinging to his arm tighter. Kodak looked at kira for help but the latter just shook his head, giving him a you're on your own sign.
"Wh-what do you want." Kodak asked.
"I know you're kira's disciple." She said, as her lips were really close to his ears. he could feel her hot breath in his ears, and something asleep was rising within him.
"But I can give you much more." She pressed her body more to him, as Kodak's soul had already flown out from his body. He just stood there frozen, while kira observed everything happening.
"What's the catch?" Kira suddenly said.
"What do you mean?" Nexus innocently asked, but kira wasn't buying it.
"Come on !you don't do something for free now do you?" Kira frowned.
"Haha!" She chuckled slightly. "Well I guess there's a catch but it's not bad." She softly said.
"He can still be your disciple but he'll also be mine. I promise to take care of him in every way possible." She paused smiling mischievously, causing Kodak to take a step back. "And I'll also grant him a new system I've been working on."
"New system?" Kira said with a contorted face.
"Of course! It's like nothing I've ever done before." She honestly replied holding Kodak's palm.
"All you have to do is say yes." She smiled, her eyes gazing into Kodak's. Kodak was lost for words as he couldn't let out a single word, everything played out to fast for him. Looking at nexus there was just something more to her, even though she had this calm and perceptive behavior.
"I'll think about it." Kodak managed to get those words out, but nexus was inquisitive. holding his head in her soft palm, her erect nipples slightly poking Kodak.
"I don't think you heard me... I said I'll make sure to satisfy you in any way possible." She said her breath becoming rough. Kodak was giving into her as she was just so beautiful, no man in his right senses would be able to avoid this.
"He said he'll think about it." Kira butted, grabbing Kodak by the arm to his side.
"Hmph! You're no fun at all." Nexus puffed her cheeks, crossing her arms around her chest.
"If you don't mind we'll be leaving now." Kira coldly said, still holding Kodak's arm taking him forward.
"Goodbye then Kodak I hope you accept my offer." Nexus said as she hugged him tightly, her breasts pressing on his face. She then proceeded to peck Kodak on the cheek, as she walked back to the meeting room.
"What the-" Kodak's mind was numb. he saw kira staring at him weirdly, but didn't speak a thing and simply walked forward. none of them saying a thing to each other, until they reached the teleporting room.
"Don't trust her." Kira suddenly said, causing Kodak's gaze to befall him.
"I know nexus she always takes something when she gives." He turned placing his hands on Kodak's shoulder. Kodak then nodded with a smile as he thanked kira. opening the door, there were countless tubs that had different wires running through them.
"Get some rest you've been through a lot today." Kira softly said as Kodak nodded, the pair then hugged as Kodak stepped into the tube. The machine hissed as the doors closed, kira's finger then ran through the keyboards typing something.
'Location received. Destination: Earth!' The machines monotone voice resounded in the room, as Kodak's body started disappearing into thin air.
