Olivia bid Iode farewell and wished him good success in the next assessment. Moments ago before she left, she gave Iode a crest in the shape of a diodon.
"Keep this in remembrance of me". Olivia said.
Iode looked at what he was given.
"This, this is a family crest, why are you giving me". Iode asked.
Families that have crests are those from the noble households, and they give it out to people who seems promising to their family. Reason why Olivia gave Iode her family crest is unknown to him because he's a bit dense.
"Just keep it to remember me and our promise". Olivia replied.
"But I don't have anything to give in return". Iode said.
"If time permits, you can come visit me at the Krillia mansion in the southeast, ask for Olivia de Krillia". Olivia said.
She left, bid Iode farewell as she doesn't have anything left to do. Iode on the other hand stood on a spot, looked at the crest in his hand and gave a warm smile then he puts it in the pouch he was carrying.
He waits for the next assessment to begin. The group Iode stayed with, only 200 people passed. There were 500 aspirant left on the field.
Bradford came forward and made an announcement.
"Congratulations on passing the last two assessment challenges. The third assessment is to test your magic skills on the field".
"In this part, you are to do a quest, which is to collect 20 Pallrocksivore* horns and it very compulsory".
"Five Triochasmos* horns, five Triogigantostegos* thagomizers and one Triospinosaurus* tooth, you can choose any one of the last three".
This is the part of the assessment where the use of ones magic skills are put to test at max. One will need to use his magic skills to either skillfully remove these parts of the animals carefully or fight them head on.
But the second idea doesn't seem to be one of the brightest of ideas especially against the last three animal beasts.
Apart from that, due to the number of aspirant still available, there is going to be a fierce competition. If your magic skills are down to the edge, you will be bullied hard and your quest materials will be taken.
"You, are all to get these things till sunset, good luck". Bradford said as he made a gesture for them to begin.
An horn was blown and all the aspirant left the field to find the quest. Most of the aspirant were moving towards a direction that is towards the woodlands, where the Pallrocksivores* are plentiful.
Iode was also moving with the multitude but something struck his mind.
"Wait, almost everyone is going to get the Pallrocksivore* horns now, and I'm following them, that not so smart of me, there's going to be a fierce competition there".
"I have to change plans, i have to go get the part of the optional beast we were given and come back for the Pallrocksivore* horns". Iode thought.
"But which do I go for, Triochasmos, Triogigantostegos or Triospinosaurus". He froze saying the last word".
"Triospinosaurus is a no go area, that beast is literally as strong as a dragon, only a fool among us will go for its tooth".
"So that leaves Triochasmos and Triogigantostegos, i think i know which one is easy to collect". Iode said with a grin on his face.

* Pallrocksivores are large animals found almost everywhere in the Heaters. It is characterized by having small nasal horns, white body with black patch at its nose, back and tail. It looks similar to a rhinoceros but classified as a rodent due to its chisel like incisors. It's a Detritivore as well as a rock eater.
* Triochasmos is a large reptilian beast found only in the magical nation, it has three horns; one at the nasal cavity and two at the brow. It has a large frill on its head that almost divides into two and it has large holes in it. ( In case you notice, Triochasmos is a beast inspired by the dinosaur named Chasmosaurus).
*Triogigantostegos is a large reptilian beast found in the swamp of Kaimaji continent. They have small heads, large plates on their backs, long tail with long bony horn like objects at the end of the tail called thagomizers. (As the name as given an hint, the beast is inspired from the dinosaur named Stegosaurus).
