To tie the shows together Yuko amd Momo go to school together with Eiko(squid girl) and Yuko lives across from Haruhi(ofc)
Haruhi is the mom friend who gets dragged into both Ika (squid girl protagonist) and Yuko's shenanigans. Haruhi is best friends with Chizuru and helps her take care of everyone. I don't really have a plot point for this one you can just alternate between the two shows and just add the characters to each show?
