One was at Luke's house, and the second was at Royal Palace. Luke showed Emperor Carl and Mary around his house, which he never had the chance to do because Emperor Carl's last trip was cut short after he was told that Paige had poisoned his late wife/queen. Rosabella continued working, and Emperor Carl saw Rosabella working. Emperor Carl knew Rosabella still won his heart, and he stared at her as she worked.
Emperor Carl knew that he must wait for Rosabella to stand in front of the bedroom that he used before his late wife/queen passed away. He could feel in his body that he wanted to hold Rosabella tightly close to him and never let go of her again. Rosabella has no idea that Emperor Carl is staring right at her, and she has no clue that he is not letting her go.
Emperor Carl knew that Luke's plan would work, and he must determine when to act. Rosabella went back inside as Luke ensured that Rosabella was inside the house, and he spoke. "Should I get Rosabella to stand in front of the bedroom you used before everyone goes to bed tomorrow so you can have the third day to catch up and ensure that Rosabella is back in your arms, your Majesty?"
Emperor Carl immediately, without a second thought or a shudder of a doubt, agrees to Luke has suggestion, and he cannot wait to have Rosabella back in his arms where she rightfully belongs. The rest of the day goes smoothly, and Emperor Carl picks the dress Rosabella will wear when she returns to the Royal Palace with him. Luke speaks to the head of the household, and he (the head of the household) agrees that he will help Luke with Rosabella standing in front of Emperor Carl's bedroom.
Everyone went to bed, and Rosabella had no clue that she would return to the Royal Palace with Emperor Carl after the third day and be with him for the rest of her life. The following day, Mary spoke to Rosabella as she wanted to know what happened to the man she (Mary) loved after Paige forced him to marry her instead of her.
Rosabella told her everything from the moment Paige and her daughters came to live at her father's house to when a servant brought him to the Royal Palace. Mary was horrified to hear from Rosabella about what happened, and she knew that she would not do the same thing that Paige, Sarah, and Anne did to Luke. Mary knew that Rosabella was telling the truth, and she knew that Rosabella deserved to be rewarded for looking after Luke.
Emperor Carl stood in a corridor while waiting for Rosabella to walk to where he was. Rosabella allowed Mary to walk away as Rosabella strode towards the archway. Emperor Carl heard Rosabella coming towards him, and she had her back to him. He saw her standing there with her back to him. Emperor Carl slowly reached out and grabbed her left arm as he pulled her away from peering eyes. Rosabella was stunned, and she could not speak.
Emperor Carl placed Rosabella's back against the wall, caging her with his arms and legs. Rosabella stared up at him, speechless to see him standing before her. Emperor Carl leaned forward, whispering into her right ear. "Before everyone goes to bed, stand in front of the bedroom I am using, and I want you to stand with your back facing the door. You will find out sooner, and you will be in shock." Rosabella's eyes widened in surprise, and she nodded her head.
Emperor Carl let go of Rosabella as he moved away from her and strided to the dining room. Rosabella slowly sank to the floor with her right hand on her chest, and she thought she was dreaming. But she felt the warmth on her left arm and near her right ear, and she knew it was not a dream. The head of the household was standing at one corner of the corridor as Emperor Carl was in his bedroom, and it was night-time.
Emperor Carl had dinner in the bedroom and waited for Rosabella to stand outside. Luke found Rosabella, and they slowly walked to the bedroom that Emperor Carl was using. Rosabella was trying to figure out what was happening and had her back to the bedroom door. Emperor Carl tip-toed closer to the bedroom and waited for Luke to leave. Luke took a deep breath and spoke.
"Rosabella, I know that you have been taking orders from our fake stepfamily and are not allowed to take any orders from me. Well, why don't we change that? This is my first order. Do not leave this spot; you must stay still even when I am out of sight." Rosabella nodded as she had no clue whatsoever and watched Luke stroll away. Emperor Carl slowly opened the bedroom door, and he saw Rosabella standing in front of him.
Emperor Carl peeked out of the bedroom and looked both ways to ensure no one would help Rosabella. He reached his arms forward and placed his right hand over Rosabella's mouth as he wrapped his left arm around her waist as Emperor Carl dragged her into the bedroom. Emperor Carl used his left foot to close the door as he held Rosabella close to him and locked the door as he refused to let go of Rosabella.
Rosabella froze in fear as she was being pulled into a bedroom. Then she felt something with the hand around her mouth and mumbled, "Emperor Carl." Emperor Carl removed his hand from her mouth, and Rosabella quickly turned to face him. Rosabella was speechless when her eyes met Emperor Carl's eyes, and she placed her hands over her mouth.
Emperor Carl smiled at Rosabella, and he opened his arms wide. Rosabella jumped into his arms and wrapped her arms around his neck, tears forming in her eyes. Emperor Carl held Rosabella close to him as he slowly walked to the bed, but he knew that Rosabella had not seen him after she was forcefully taken away from the Royal Palace.
