Ella (Rosabella) was also in the room, and Emperor Carl stood up. The women of the Royal Harem looked at him as if they knew he had something to say to them, and he spoke. "Women of the Royal Harem, I want to start by thanking everyone for showing respect to my late wife and Queen after she passed away. I know some of you want to know how she passed away, and I can tell you that she did not die of natural causes at all. I will let Rosabella tell you what she found the day after my late wife/queen survived but do not blame Rosabella. Rosabella said to me that I needed to bring my late wife/queen back here, and she also informed me who was responsible for the murder as well as poisoning my late wife/queen."
Ella (Rosabella) walked forward and stood before Emperor Carl. Ella (Rosabella) took a deep breath and spoke. "Women of the Royal Harem, the late Queen Lilly did not die of natural causes at all because my stepmother poisoned her. The day after the late Queen Lilly was poisoned, I found a bottle near the bed that she used, and I picked it up. I looked hard at the bottle, and my face went pale as I realized who owned the bottle."
"I looked at His Majesty and told him who owned the bottle. My stepmother frequently says she wants one of her daughters to be with him instead of Queen Lilly and all of you, the women of the Royal Harem. My stepmother half succeeded, and here is the bottle. (Ella (Rosabella) took the bottle out of her pocket and untied the napkin. Ella (Rosabella) held the bottle up and showed the bottle to the women of the Royal Harem.)"
"My stepmother is hoping, praying, and has her fingers crossed that His Majesty will have one of her daughters instead of all of you and another girl who wants to be here with His Majesty." The women of the Royal Harem gasped in horror as they placed a hand over their mouths, and a doctor came forward. Ella (Rosabella) gave him the bottle and walked back to where she stood as the doctor said to the women of the Royal Harem.
"Rosabella is telling the truth; she did the right thing to get the late Queen back here. I will look at this bottle and tell His Majesty what I have found out." The doctor goes away as he wants to look at the bottle and find out if it contains poison. The women of the Royal Harem know that Ella (Rosabella) has done nothing wrong to deserve any punishment.
One of the women walked forward and looked at Ella (Rosabella) as she said. "Rosabella is telling the truth and would not harm anyone else. It is a shame that Rosabella's stepmother would do this for her and her daughters' benefit. If anyone deserves an award for helping the late Queen before she passed away, it is Rosabella. If anyone deserves punishment for doing something awful and doing it for her daughters, it is Rosabella's stepmother."
Emperor Carl nodded and let the Royal Harem women return to their bedchambers. Ella (Rosabella) was about to leave the room when Emperor Carl stopped and spoke softly. "Rosabella, stay with me because I want to talk to you. Came and sit on the steps so we can talk."
Ella (Rosabella) nodded and sat on the steps next to him. Ella (Rosabella) looked at him, and she was nervous. Emperor Carl knew she was scared, and they talked for two hours. Ella (Rosabella) knew that she must return to her father's house and had no idea that something would happen.
The day of the funeral of Queen Lilly has finally arrived; the other kingdoms have sent someone to represent them to the funeral, and everyone in the country, apart from Ella (Rosabella)'s stepmother and stepsisters, came out in support of Emperor Carl.
Ella (Rosabella) was allowed to scan the other kingdoms' family trees and saw her real name on the eighth of the ten royal family trees. Ella (Rosabella) strokes her name and does not realize Emperor Carl is watching her. But Ella (Rosabella) felt a sudden headache and dropped the scroll onto the floor.
Emperor Carl and two servants ran into the room as Ella (Rosabella) was about to collapse onto the floor. Emperor Carl got hold of Ella (Rosabella) before her head hit the floor, and the two servants picked the scroll up. The two servants placed the scroll on the table and moved the chair out of the way.
Emperor Carl got Ella (Rosabella) on her back; she was out stone cold. Emperor Carl lifted Ella (Rosabella) in his arms, and he carried her to a bedroom. Everyone was told what happened to Ella (Rosabella), and they let Emperor Carl carry her to a bedroom. Emperor Carl placed Ella (Rosabella) on the bed and sat on it as he held her right hand.
Ella (Rosabella) slowly opened her eyes and placed her left hand on her head as she said. "Ow, my head, I wish it would stop, and what happened?" Emperor Carl helps Ella (Rosabella) sit up and places her back against the headboard as he slowly speaks.
"You were looking at another royal family tree and saw your name. You stroked your name, but then you had a sudden headache. You dropped the scroll onto the floor as your eyes closed, and you were about to collapse to the floor as well. I rushed into the room with two servants, and they picked the scroll up as I got hold of you before your head hit the floor. I had placed you on your back, and you were out stone cold. Do you remember everything before the headache came out of nowhere?"
Ella (Rosabella) slowly remembered and nodded as she said. "Yes, I do remember everything as well as what I was reading before the sudden headache came out of nowhere, and thank you for carrying me here, Your Majesty."
