Elena was in his embrace for a while when the doorbell of the room rang.
*Ringing*
Bittu looked at Elena while saying, "I will check it," to which she responded with a nod.
Bittu arrived at the door and found a waiter. He took the two sets of food and told the waiter to come back after an hour, who nodded and left.
Bittu then came back inside and kept the food on the dining table from the room service trolley.
He called out to Elena, "Elena, come out. The food's ready."
Elena, lost in her own world, thinking things only she knew as she blushed, didn't hear Bittu at all. If one didn't know better, they would never think that Elena was crying silently for the entire afternoon.
From her looks, it seemed like what happened this morning was just a fleeting dream. The only evident evidence of her crying was her swollen eyes.
Bittu waited for a while but didn't get any response from her. He called out again, but still no response. He decided to check what happened.
He arrived in the room only to see that she was lost in her own world. Bittu shook his head and moved towards her when suddenly his heart had a thought that his mind agreed on.
He had a mischievous smile as he arrived before her and caught her chin with his hand, making her look at himself while he looked into her eyes for a few seconds.
Elena, in her own world, was surprised when someone held her chin and more so when she found it to be Bittu, and even more when Bittu looked right into her eyes.
Her heart started to race, and her eyes wanted to avert his gaze, but Bittu forcefully kept her head straight, making eye contact.
Her face was as red as a tomato right now because of how much she was blushing. Bittu, seeing her like this, was laughing internally but didn't show it on his face. His laugh came to a stop when he saw her alluring beauty intensified by the blush.
After a minute, when it looked like her face was about to burst from the blood rush, he spoke, "Food's ready, little girl," in a heavy hoarse voice.
Bittu then set her head free and turned around while going back towards the dining table. While going, he said, "Come fast," in the same heavy and hoarse voice.
"hhhhuuuu...."
After Bittu said this, he heaved a hot breath. Just now, it was not just her heart that was beating rapidly. Looking at her blushing face and, more so, those juicy lips, Bittu was giving his all not to kiss her.
Bittu didn't think that what he did just now, which was initially supposed to be a joke, would turn out like this.
Looking at her, his throat went dry, and he could barely stop himself from jumping at her. When he felt that he was at his limit, he spoke in a hoarse voice because of his dry throat and then quickly left for some cool air to calm himself.
A while later, Elena came and sat on the chair. Her face still had some blush to it, but she seemed to have calmed down a lot.
Bittu too had calmed down; he placed the food on a plate and served her.
Elena, in the meantime, was looking at Bittu when a question suddenly clicked in her mind, and she decided to ask him.
"Bittu.... Why did you come back?" She called out to him normally, but when she asked the question, her voice became uncertain as she wasn't sure if she should ask that.
Bittu, who was about to place the plate in front of her, paused for a second. He then placed the food while looking at her.
"Let's talk about it after eating, okay?" asked Bittu with a smile, but Elena was too curious right now when she saw him not get mad because of what she asked.
"No, tell me...."
Bittu insisted, "I told you after dinner, now finish your food."
Elena didn't listen to him at all and acted stubborn and spoiled. She didn't even touch the food and pouted.
Bittu, looking at her for a while, shook his head and sighed. He stood up, put his chair beside her, and sat down. He then held the spoon and placed it at Elena's mouth.
Elena was baffled seeing Bittu feed her. It was like a dream come true that she opened her mouth without even realizing it. Bittu then placed the food inside her mouth while she chewed.
Bittu fed her as he spoke, "Did you not want me back?" in a saddened voice.
Elena panicked when she heard what he said and tried to speak with the food still in her mouth.
"Noww... Ofuu....couurchhh...nout"
Bittu laughed lightly seeing her reaction and decided not to tease her seeing her angry, which actually made her look a lot more cute in this form of hers.
"Okay, so eat first then I will tell you," Bittu said as he started to feed her and also ate himself from the plate but, of course, with a different spoon.
Elena did not like that, but she didn't say anything because she knew Bittu was already doing a lot considering the situation of their relationship.
They finished eating the food in about fifteen minutes after which Elena got back into the room, and Bittu too followed after he put the plates near the door outside on the room service trolley.
Bittu then came into the bedroom only to find that Elena was inviting him to sit beside her. He shook his head and did as told.
After he sat beside her, she then made him lean on the pillow, afterwards she leaned on him and put her head on his chest.
"Now, you can continue," said Elena as she smiled in contentment.
Bittu, looking at what she made him do, shook his head and whispered to no one in particular.
"Silly girl...."
"Did you say something?" She asked as she felt him speak something.
"No, it's nothing. Now let me tell you," said Bittu before he paused deciding on where to start from.
"You said you loved me, right?" asked Bittu while looking at her.
Elena responded in agreement.
"Well, I am someone who will only love one woman in my entire life, showering her with all the love and care I could give her." Bittu said as he looked at the moon outside and paused.
Elena was happy hearing that and wanted to say something but didn't say it as she felt that he still has more left to say.
"But, I have not found the right one and am still searching."
"Let me be straight, I don't love you...."
Elena was disappointed and saddened hearing that, but when she heard what he said after that, her heart became light.
".... at least not yet."
"... Not yet?" asked Elena with some hope and anticipation.
".... Yes,...I could if you make me, want to," said Bittu with his eyes closed thinking something else. One thing he didn't tell her was that his decision was based on what happened this morning. He was disappointed in himself for losing control and had kissed her, a median– a grave mistake from his side, thus, he wanted to give her a chance and... to himself as well.
Elena oblivious to this fact was on heavens when she heard that. She was determined to make him fall in love with her. But, one question bothered her;
"... If so.... Why are you so loving and caring right now?" asked Elena with some confusion and curiosity.
"....."
Bittu paused slightly as he didn't know how to answer this question; he couldn't be direct and tell her that he did it because he felt bad seeing her swollen face from crying for a long time.
"..... It's because I want to show you how I will love and care for you when we are actually together," was all he could think at the moment to say to her.
Elena gave a happy smile when she heard that and hugged him closer.
".... It's only for this night, though. From tomorrow, it won't be the same. You will have to court me," added Bittu, seeing her reaction as a smile found its way on his face.
Elena lifted her head after hearing that, looked at him in high spirits, and said, "Of course, from tomorrow I will court you..... Darling." Elena said in a voice full of confidence, but her voice became a whisper at the end, but Bittu managed to hear it and was surprised to hear that.
".... What did you call me?" asked Bittu with a playful smile.
Elena with a blushing face replied, ".... Darling... " After saying that, she once again leaned and put her head at rest on his chest.
Bittu laughed lightly seeing her being all shy, ".... Hahaha.... " Elena too followed suit when she heard him laugh, ".... Heheheh.... "
Just like that they talked for an hour, after that they fell asleep.
In the morning, Elena was the first to wake up. She woke up and saw herself hugging Bittu.
".... Sigh.... "
She heaved a sigh of relief that whatever happened yesterday night was not just a dream but the truth. Her face brightened and she smiled happily.
She then looked at Bittu, seeing him peacefully sleep she quietly got out of his embrace and proceeded to make something for him.
She still has not forgotten that from today onwards, she had to make him fall in love with her. Elena then immediately got up to wash herself up, take a shower and then make something special for him.
After an hour, Bittu stirred, realizing Elena was no longer in his embrace. Mild disappointment lingered as the tempting aroma of food reached him. Figuring she was in the kitchen, he opted to investigate. Spotting her there, focused on cooking, Bittu chose to freshen up before interrupting.
Emerging from the bathroom ten minutes later, he found Elena on the bed, looking at thin air. Figuring she was looking at her status he didn't disturb her, but that wasn't needed as she had already spoted him.
".... Come, let's eat I have made something special for you.... "
Bittu nodded and followed after her. Elena served him the food.
Bittu asked, "What is this dish called? "
Though, Elena didn't answer but instead said with a slightly proud smile, " First try it... "
Bittu nodded and took a bite. The moment he took a bite he felt the food melt in his mouth and the seasonings mess with his taste.
".... Hmm...Ymmm.... It's delicious."
"... Of course it would be, it's a special dish from my –", the moment Elena was about to say where it was from, she felt a strong presence gaze at her which made her stop.
'..... Damn you, Fate.'
Elena's face turned ice cold when she thought that and she looked up for a second but didn't say anything else, but she quickly hid that face when she heard Bittu talk.
"What happened? ", asked Bittu slightly confused as to why did she stop all of a sudden. He didn't notice what happened just now at all. If he had his spirit stat unlocked maybe he would have but, since he didn't so he couldn't.
" Nothing", she responded with a smile as if nothing happened.
".....", Bittu felt that she was lying, but he didn't press and asked, " Where's this special dish from? "
This time she gave him a mischievous and sly smile and said, "... It's a secret.... "
"... ", Bittu was speechless when he heard her but, just shook his head and said, "... It's fine if you don't wanna tell me.
Bittu then started to focus on his food.
Elena felt bad keeping this a secret so, she did what Bittu did yesterday night. She came beside him took the spoon from his hand and started to feed him.
Bittu was surprised by what she did and asked her instead of eating, ".... I am not a child... I can eat myself."
Elena gave him a smile and said, ".... I didn't say you were a child... and I am just courting you... by deciding to feed you. "
Bittu was taken aback by her response but rejected her, ".... No, I will eat myself. You eat your food."
Elena was a stubborn and kept the food near his mouth. Bittu getting a little annoyed by her stubbornness said, "..... How about I feed you just like yesterday and you let me be..."
"... No... ", Elena brutally rejected him.
Bittu decided to increased the bargain, " "..... How about I always feed you just like yesterday and you let me be..."
Elena who had a stubborn face paused listening to his purposal and after a bit of thinking said with raised brows, "... Always.... "
"... Yess.... ", Bittu spoke in agreement.
".... At all times...breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner. ", asked Elena still keeping the spoon near his mouth.
Bittu was speechless at her demands and said with a forced smile, " Only Lunch and Dinner; whenever I am with you. "
".... Okay... ", Elena agreed and then smiled in victory.
".... Okay, then give me the spo–", before Bittu could continue, the spoon moved and Elena sneakily fed Bittu and then said while giggling,
" ..... only starts after you shallow this one bite then, never again...."
Bittu wanted to cry when, she still fed him after all that he said to her, but no tears came out.
