Tae Hoon continued to pull So Hyun's hand, then stopped his steps when he felt that they were already far away from the drunk man. Tae Hoon still didn't want to turn around, because he still couldn't calm his rising emotions. So Hyun felt the strong grip of Tae Hoon's hand. She also noticed Tae Hoon's strange-looking condition, but she still decided not to ask.
"You came long enough." So Hyun smiled slightly. She tried to soothe Tae Hoon's emotions, but he still didn't make a sound. So Hyun honestly didn't really understand what made Tae Hoon look emotional. If the cause was the drunk guy who bothered her earlier, wasn't he overreacting—considering her relationship with Tae Hoon wasn't that close yet.
So Hyun pulled two corners of her lips up—smiling sweetly as she tried to calm things down, "Hey, I'm hungry. Let's go eat! I feel like dying from waiting for you for so long."
"So why are you still waiting for me?!" Tae Hoon suddenly shouted angrily. So Hyun, who was about to take a step, stopped in surprise at Tae Hoon's voice.
"You know that I didn't come even though it was late. You should have just gone home, why are you waiting for me?!" Tae Hoon snapped in annoyance. He also cursed himself for getting carried away and scolding So Hyun instead of apologizing to her.
The mounting guilt made him start to dislike So Hyun. Not in a bad way, it was just that Tae Hoon felt he was a depraved man who had let someone down. Tae Hoon knew very well what kind of persistence So Hyun had shown him. The narrow-minded Tae Hoon thought he would be fine if he ignored So Hyun once or twice.
"Because we had promised," So Hyun answered without hesitation. But that answer only made Tae Hoon's temper rise even more until he set his jaw firmly.
"That promise—!" Tae Hoon wanted to yell back, but he managed to hold back because he realized that this was all his fault. He rubbed his face roughly then let out a long breath. Once again, he almost lost control and almost blamed So Hyun again.
"Because of me..." Tae Hoon looked down weakly, and his eyes turned wide. It took Tae Hoon a few seconds until he managed to win over his racing thoughts. After that, he opened his voice—a low whimper.
"Sorry."
So Hyun was quite surprised when she heard Tae Hoon's apology until his eyes widened. Actually, So Hyun didn't feel upset or disappointed. She was already happy that Tae Hoon still came to see her despite being late. The good feeling she felt when she heard Tae Hoon's apology to her, made her think that Tae Hoon was truly sorry—that meant he still respected her.
"Hey, I'm hungry. Let's go eat." So Hyun chose to ignore today's events in order to let them pass quickly. She turned around and walked away, but Tae Hoon's hand held her back. When So Hyun turned around, she found Tae Hoon's presence who was looking down limply.
"You should have scolded me. You should be upset and disappointed with me." Tae Hoon lifted his face, his eyes puffy and red. "Why are you being like this to me?"
The feeling of disappointment. Not that So Hyun couldn't feel such feelings, especially since she also admitted that what Tae Hoon did to her this time was quite excessive. But no matter what, no matter how annoying Tae Hoon was, whether it was ignoring her, speaking coldly to her, or even being rude to her, So Hyun would never be disappointed or even hate Tae Hoon. It's not that So Hyun is naive or has no pride. So Hyun had her own reasons why she was determined like that.
"Why are you like this? You make me sad," So Hyun said as she placed her hands on both of Tae Hoon's shoulders. Her whole body froze when she saw the expression on Tae Hoon's face. She couldn't look at Tae Hoon like that, her heart was hurting so much right now.
Tae Hoon immediately looked away when he realized the distance between them was too close. "Why are you sad? You should be annoyed with me, right?"
So Hyun successfully chuckled. "You want to see me angry?"
"That's not it," Tae Hoon snapped, still glancing the other way. So Hyun smiled again. It felt so good to tease Tae Hoon, especially when the man was sad, his heart would become more sensitive than usual.
"Let's go then, I'm already hungry." So Hyun gave a warm smile, and it was enough to calm Tae Hoon's raging mind. There were actually many questions lodged in Tae Hoon's head right now. But despite all that, now he had to comply with So Hyun's wishes for making her wait so long.
"Alright. Do as you wish," he replied while looking away in the other direction because So Hyun still hadn't moved her face away.
So Hyun managed to smile. She felt so happy that she could tease Tae Hoon like this. She wanted to do it again, but now her stomach had to be filled first.
"Okay, let's go." So Hyun pulled Tae Hoon's hand and led him away. Tae Hoon could only obey and let himself be pulled by So Hyun. They visited a shop not too far from where they met. Because she was too hungry, she decided not to visit a fancy restaurant, so this small shop was all they could visit.
"Let's eat this!" So Hyun exclaimed and ate the meat that had been grilled on the grill. They ordered quite a lot of meat, jjajangmyeon, sundaes and beer.
So Hyun devoured all the meat with gusto. Tae Hoon, who saw that, was pensive. Once again he felt bad for So Hyun for making him wait too long to starve. Until now he couldn't understand why So Hyun still liked him after that incident.
"Say aaa..." So Hyun said as she stuck out her hand that was holding a spoon filled with meat to Tae Hoon. Her mouth also opened—implying to Tae Hoon that she wanted to feed him. The sudden gesture surprised Tae Hoon so much that his face turned red with embarrassment.
"What are you doing?! Hurry up and get rid of it!" Tae Hoon snapped quietly so as not to be heard by other diners.
"Hurry up and eat this, my hands are sore. Aaa..." said So Hyun who tried to bring the meat closer to Tae Hoon's mouth. In the end, Tae Hoon could only surrender and accept So Hyun's mouthful. His face was getting red because he couldn't bear the embarrassment from the other visitors who were watching them. Meanwhile, So Hyun laughed happily as if she didn't care what others thought of them.

Tae Hoon and So Hyun visited a playground located in the Gwangmyeong-ro area. Tae Hoon continued to fulfill all of So Hyun's wishes to ride all the rides there. At first, he felt a little uncomfortable because he was riding too many rides, but over time he began to enjoy it. Especially when racing cars with So Hyun, he was enthusiastic. When doing other activities such as throwing dice, buying food and others, he seemed very happy and enjoyed it. Sometimes he even laughed because he was too excited.
The last ride they went on was the Ferris wheel. They sat facing each other while looking at the view of Seoul from above. So Hyun couldn't stop smiling tonight. She felt very happy. Meanwhile, Tae Hoon on the other hand was pensive with a sad expression. Anyone don't know what he was thinking to make that expression.
"Han So Hyun, I apologize once again." He said the apology solemnly without intending to glance at So Hyun. He was too embarrassed to look at that cheerful face right now. So Hyun's smile faded as soon as she heard Tae Hoon's apology. She immediately turned her head and looked at Tae Hoon.
Tae Hoon was silent for a moment--looking for good words to express his regret. "I promise I won't make another mistake like today," he continued.
So Hyun was at a loss as to how to react to Tae Hoon's apology. Before she could think of what to say, Tae Hoon opened his voice first, "Do you have a wish? I'll grant it as payment for my mistake today."
"Hum?" Honestly, So Hyun was so surprised that her eyes widened. Then after that she suddenly laughed loudly. She laughed long enough to successfully confuse Tae Hoon.
"You're making too big a deal out of this," So Hyun said in the middle of her laughter.
"I'm serious."
The serious-sounding sentence surprised her. So So Hyun chose to stop laughing and be serious. She moved her eyes—looking at Tae Hoon after she finished adjusting her expression.
"My wish, huh? Hum..." So Hyun put her fingers on her chin as she thought hard. It didn't take long for her to think about what she was going to ask for. That's because she really doesn't have any desires at the moment, "I don't have any wish right now. Can I submit it later when necessary?"
Tae Hoon was honestly quite surprised. He had originally thought that So Hyun would immediately ask him to be her lover. Tae Hoon had even prepared his heart to grant the request should it happen. But unexpectedly, who would have thought that the girl would answer his question like that. Tae Hoon really didn't understand So Hyun's way of thinking.
"Okay." Tae Hoon smiled faintly.
So Hyun then smiled deeply. She didn't know why, but she felt very happy today. She didn't even realize that the Ferris wheel had stopped. When the door opened, Tae Hoon came down first. Then what surprised So Hyun was how Tae Hoon treated her afterward. He reached out his hand to So Hyun intending to help her down.
That simple gesture alone made So Hyun's heart skip a beat. She happily accepted the helping hand. After that, they walked away from there. They walked around for a while while waiting for a taxi to show up. Silence ensued as no one intended to open their voice.
"Ouh." So Hyun was forced to stop her steps because her shoelace suddenly came loose. Just as she was about to squat down, Tae Hoon had already squatted down and fixed her shoelaces.
Again, Tae Hoon's treatment just now managed to make her heart flutter. For some reason he felt that Tae Hoon's behavior today was sweeter than before. Maybe it was just a form of atonement for the guilt Tae Hoon had caused earlier. Whatever it was, there was no denying the fact that So Hyun loved this moment. She wanted time to stop so she could enjoy this moment forever.
