Righteous Sect. One of the 7 great sect in the continent 'Tan'. Their virtues are, to be righteous in action, word, and being.Â
They are people willing to die for the good in the world. If need be, they would be devils to kill other devils.Â
As long as their hearts are pure, their actions are pure.Â
....
....
*swoosh, swoosh*
The branch broom cleared the leaves under the pagoda.
His graceful movements looked as if they were dancing along with the wind. His disheveled hair and his torn clothes couldn't hide his extraordinary presence.Â
Fei Han eyes were lost in wave as well and as on-lookers were passing by, they would also be swayed into his flow, unable to break contact. There was a indescribable feeling. It was as if all of their senses were hyper-focused on to his every action, his every breathe, and how he moved with nature.Â
As the leaves were now cleaned away, the audience slowly returns to their senses.Â
Fei Han looks over to the and bows.Â
Instinctively, they returned a bow.Â
They then left one by one, and Fei Han entered the Pagoda to clean.Â
One girl looked over the pagoda.
"Senior Sister, what's wrong? Was Fei Han that impressive?"Â
A young man ask as he also tries to guess. Though Fei Han could be called impressive, he was still considered as a mortal. To them, he was someone that had no reason being amongst the immortals.Â
She shakes her head.Â
"...When I first saw him clean, a calm feeling washed over me. At that time, I was just beginning to cultivate so I couldn't understand. But now that I have broken through...his movements seemed..."
"...Ethereal?"
She nods, "It felt like something that shouldn't be in this world, it felt like it was the cosmos and had all of the answers to every question. It felt like I was free as the wind, bounded by nothing."
"T-this shouldn't be that impressive, right?"
"I don't know...I would like to talk to Fei Han, but I'm afraid of bothering him."
"Hm, that's true that it does feel a little inappropriate. After all, you are the sect masters disciple. They might bully him if you show favoritism."
"...Forget it. Lets go, we still need to report to master."
"Okay, senior sister."
....
....
....
Fei Han looked at the book in his hand and began turning the pages. The title reads, "One".
His emotionless eyes stared into the book.Â
The letters turned into a formation, the drawings moved with their swords.Â
As he reads the last letter, he closes the book.
*Huuuff* he let out a big breathe as his body relaxes.Â
"5 years...Since I crossed over here 5 years ago, I've been studying this book non-stop."
Fei Han touches his hair.Â
"For unknown reasons, my body digressed back to when I was 16, but my hair turned white. In the process of crossing over as well, all of my senses and even my way of thinking has completely changed. And all of this...was because of this book."
Fei Han looks at the book again, all the ink in it were gone, leaving only blank pages. He stored it back into his bag.Â
Fei Han lightly touched his chest. He felt every beat of his heart.Â
"I knew it...in exchange for studying this book, my emotions were severed."
When Fei Han had first arrived, he was different...More arrogant, more annoyed, more...despicable.Â
Even back on earth, he was a kind person. Though he couldn't be called a saint, he was still a good person abiding by rules.Â
"The travel must have changed my personality..."
Back then, he had feared that he wasn't "Fei Han" anymore.Â
Maybe he had traveled into a book.Â
Maybe he was a character, designed from head to toe.Â
"But now that fear is no longer here."
His remaining resolve fought back for control out of spiraling tides.Â
And through fully studying the book, he had detached himself from all beings.Â
He also had a feeling...That nothing in the world could even so much as to touch him.Â
Maybe it was arrogance.Â
Maybe it was confidence.Â
But he no longer cared. There was a more pressed matter.Â
"Now that I have done what I set out to do...What's next?"
Fei Han looked at his broom and the sun.Â
"Looks like it's still time to clean."
...
....
....
"Sui'er! You're back!" A middle aged man with a long black beard and two hairs of white on his sides welcomed his student.Â
"Master." She bows.Â
"Come, I've heard of your news! You really brought the righteous sect glory! To think you were able to take down one of the devil sects bases. That is my student, hahaha."
He noticed her grim look. Thinking there was something he didn't know and her quick return he asked hastily.Â
"What's the matter?"
"....Master, when I went to investigate the devil sects base, I heard one of them talking. They said.....'Soon, the seal will be lifted, and the god will reincarnate!'"
*DUNN!*
Like a shock of thunder, the sect leaders face turn ghastly.Â
Wishing for it to not be true, he asks, "Are you sure?"
Sui'er kneels down. "If any words that disciple has spoken is false, then I will be known as a sinner to the world!"
"...."
The sect leader sighs.Â
"Looks like a storm is approaching."
He walks in front of her and says, "It will soon be the meeting of the 7 great sects. This will be the best time for all of the sect leaders to talk about this."
"Why not tell them now, master? After all, I have already destroyed one of their bases so we should assume that they know we are aware of their plans."
"That's not enough. Though the great sects fear the devil sect and want to get rid of it, no one is willing to do it. After all, everyone cares about their own sect more."
He continues.
"If I were to bring this topic up now, I'm afraid that no one is willing to wage war with the devil sect."
Sui'er became surprised at the realization of her masters plans, "Master means..."
"Yes! During the meeting, there will be a competition for the youths. I will announce it to the world this news. Let's see who's willing to be hide in their shells in front of their disciples!"
