A calm and soothing voice rang through a dusty, dark basement. A raven-haired woman sat next to a cosy looking bed, as her cyan-eyed son laid, drifting in and out of consciousness. She sang a serene and tranquil melody, trying to give her boy an ounce of peace in their now cryptic and difficult world.
"Allie, they're here! You need to leave!" Shouted a panicked voice, as a man with light brown hair and glasses burst through the brittle door.
A horrified expression covered the woman's face. "Already?! Fuck... alright, don't worry, Jay." She sighed. "I'll handle them."
"Okay... I'll protect Kei." Jayson replied, a slight hint of comfort crossing his grey eyes. "Are you sure you'll be okay?"
"I'll be fine... I am the stronger sibling after all." Allie said with a slight smirk, trying to lighten the mood a bit.
"Wha- Now's not really the time for jokes!" Exasperatedly blurted Jay, rushing over to his nephew to shield him.
Out of nowhere, at least ten men dressed in all black burst through the same door that the hazel-head just had moments earlier.
One of them, seemingly the leader, made a feeble attempt at peace with them. "If you give us Keizo this instant, we will allow you to live. Just hand the boy over."
"Heh, not a chance." Instantly laughed the immovable obsidian-haired woman.
The second those words left her mouth, the ten agents unleashed a starting attack. A gigantic wave of fire launched out of one of their hands at a frightening speed, headed straight at Allie.
Unfortunately for them, she had already prepared. Crimson lightning encompassed her body as she sprung off of the ground at incomprehensible speed. The second she was within punching range of the fire agent, it seemed to instantly turn one-sided.
With one punch, the agent was sent flying into the concrete wall behind them. His bottom half stuck out, completely limp. An awful squelch and crack sounded at the impact, presumably his bones snapping like toothpicks.
One of the agents slightly gasped at the sight, alerting Allie to the fact that he was probably the least trained. She instantly jumped at the man.
The next second, there was no man, just a pile of blood, bones and organs along with a woman covered in them.
Another man screamed in anger as he unleashed a devastating earth attack. The ground stuck up in spikes, the walls closed in around Allie and they were also covered in acute blades.
But before the skewers could even touch her, she punched the walls once, causing the concrete to go flying around the room. However, it seemed to be focused in one direction, aimed at the earth agent. Soon enough, he was sat on the floor, blood pouring from multiple large holes in his chest and blood dripping from his mouth and nose.
Before any of the other agents could react to her devastating attacks, she launched herself at 5 of them, who were all stood fairly close to each other. A long trail of crimson lightning and glowing red was left behind as she slaughtered all of them within the space of not even two seconds.
2 left.
One of the last agents unleashed spikes of water at The crimson devil. However, in the time it took him to conjure that water, she was already behind him. She stuck her hand through his chest with ease, and tore a hole straight through him.
"Haha, well done. You're impressive. I'm starting to wonder if we should be trying to recruit you as well!" Congratulated the last agent, eerily happy at the death of his comrades. "Unfortunately, that's not our mission. We need the boy... and I'll get him. Move."
"You're not taking my son. I'll inform you that I haven't started trying yet. You don't stand a chance." Proclaimed Allie.
"We'll see about that." Finished the blonde-haired agent.
Allie decided that she had enough, and launched herself at him. But the second that she did, he was already across the room.
"What?" She exclaimed.
Realising that he must be a Deviant with some kind of teleportation ability, she knew she needed to catch him off-guard. But the second she realised that, he was already on top of her once again.
He appeared above her, then slammed his entire body weight down onto her back. She slammed into the concrete ground, blood shot out of her mouth as adrenaline tried it's best to prolong any pain. Despite this, small bits of pain seeped through and she could hear her ribs crack. A sick smile spread across the blonde man's face.
"What- What are y- you?" Allie questioned. This power was no teleportation. Just what ability did this man possess?

A scroll appeared in-front of every student of Mercia Hunters Academy, signalling the start of the school day. Every student was to make their way straight to their first class. Luckily for Keizo and his classmate, Isebel Maia, #2 in the school and member of the immortals, they were already at their class due to being at school since 4 A.M.
Every student got in and got settled down before their teacher, Sir Bov, started reading off the register.
Eventually, the introductory elements of class had finished and the #1 and 2 in school knew it was time for a different type of introduction.
"Class, today is a very special day. I would like to introduce to you two new students that will be joining you. Now, be extremely respectful as these two are royalty. But not just that, they are also elves, so make sure they feel welcome!" The professor finished, signing past the classroom door to the students.
'Heh, this school is gonna eat them alive. I remember that when I transferred, it took me about a year to beat all the side characters into place before they started respecting me.' Keizo chuckled to himself in his mind.
First, the emerald-eyed Lance Murase of the elven royal family entered the room. He stood at the front, arms crossed over his chest, rosy hair sticking up all over the place and a look of displeasure washed over his face.
Next, the rose-haired beauty of the elven royal family, Aria Murase, entered the room. She also stood at the top, arms folded behind her back and a plain look over her face.
'Heh, see. They'll never respect you unle-' Keizo began in his mind, before realising that every single one of his classmates had stood up and bowed down to the duo.
'What... You little fucks! You're only acting respectful 'cause they're royals! Shit, how didn't I see this coming?!' The cyan-eyed boy questioned himself.
Lance's eyes scanned everyone in the room, checking for any sign of discourtesy. 'Looks like I was right. They'll suck up to us no matter what we look like. I have a feeling that I'm gonna like this place... Wait. Who's that black-haired idiot? He isn't bowing, hell, he's not even standing! I'll have to confront him about this after class.'
'Hmm, how unentertaining. I was hoping that the top school in the entirety of the three lands would allow it's students to be a bit more free. It's obvious they're just treating us like this because we're royalty. Wait, who's that boy over there? He seems... familiar. He's also different. He's definitely the most interesting.' Aria thought to herself with a small smirk spreading onto her face.
"Alright, class, thank you for the pleasant welcome." Acknowledged Sir Bov. "You two can go and take your seats. Both of you are placed on the back row next to Keizo."
Aria gladly took her spot next to Keizo, while her brother was very unhappy about the placement, but couldn't really argue with it. So he did the second best thing and took a seat next to his sister instead, not truly knowing whether that was better or worse.

Another scroll popped up in-front of the students, this time signalling the first break. All of the students stood up and instantly rushed out of the class, barely even letting their professor get a word in.
Keizo followed suit, albeit slightly behind the others. The only ones behind him being the royal twins.
The second the three got out of the classroom, the lime-eyed boy grabbed his raven-haired classmate's hood and shouted, "How dare you?! You dare to utterly disrespect the prince and princess of the elven unity?! And look at you, you're not even wearing the proper uniform! How are you getting away with this?!"
Keizo simply turned around, grabbed Lance's wrist and glared at him. His pure strength greatly overpowered Lance's, making it easy for him to remove his grip. His glare left Lance with a similar feeling to his sister's skill to inflict fear on her opponents.
He then simply said 13 words, "That's no way to talk to your school's number 1, is it now?"
He then turned back around and began walking away again.
'Heh, this guy keeps intriguing me. He's so casual around royalty. It's impressive. I like it.' Aria relayed to herself in her head.
"N- No! I won't let you get away with such disrespect. I challenge you to a duel!"
