The door suddenly opened and a head pooked inside and said ladies no need to shout.
"Jack!! " Ayra and kachi shouted at the same time.
"Sshuuu keep your voices down" - Jack.
"You, you are the one that locked us in here why did you do that ?" Kachi questioned filled with indignation.
"Jack I thought you were in class? How did you manage to follow us?" Ayra asked calmly, coming close to him .
"That's beside the main issue, the point is he locked us in here what if something had happened to either of us?" - Kachi screamed
"Yeah I understand but the after results are worth it don't you think so? "ayra countered.
"Yeah but why is he not talking?" Kachi muttered pointing at Jack's direction.
"Tsk how do you expect me to talk when you guys bombarded me with questions? "
"Sorry Jack you can speak now" ayra declared smiling a little at how cute he looked when irritated.
"Whew I figured out kachi was playing hard to get, so I decided to lock you two in here and only open it once you have settled your differences. "
"Duh I wasn't "playing hard to get", I was sincerely mad and my anger was justified right ayra? "
"Yeah your anger is totally justified" ayra agreed .
"Thank you kachi" mouthed obviously pleased at her support.
"Now everything is fine between the two of you, you are free to go" he declared.
"Wait so you would have left us in here locked up if we didn't resolve our issue? " Kachi questioned .
"Yup I would have thrown away the key. "
"Ugh ayra your boyfriend is something else I'm leaving" she said walking out from the door.
Uhm ayra swallowed hard her heart beating fast she wanted to refute kachi's words , but jack was starring at her with an inscrutable expression.
"Uhm how did you know?" She asked finally finding her tongue "it's not been up to a whole day that we started dating . "
"Oh really? I don't know about others but the chemistry between the both of you is too obvious to ignore. "
Jack merely smiled widely at her words.
"Oh I didn't know that" ayra muttered lowering her eyes .
"Christ I have been searching all over the school for the two of you" the trio looked up at the owner of a new voice in their midst.
"Ellaaaa"ayra exclaimed excitedly "I'm sorry you had to go through that stress Jack locked us in this empty class" she said gesturing around the four corners of the class.
"Oh okay but are you okay with kachi now? " She asked her with her eyes.
Ayra giggled surprised the eyes communication between them was still working. " Yeah Ella we have settled our issues, kachi accepted my apologies. "
Whew Ella released a relieved breath.
"Ella why would you search for us around the school?" Kachi asked her feeling a surge of guilt on the way she had treated her earlier this morning.
"Oh I was worried about my two friends, I wanted to make sure you guys were gonna be fine. "
"Oh I'm really sorry on the stuffs i said in the mor-.. "
"It's fine kachi if I was in your shoes I would have said worse, so I totally understand. "
"Thank you" kachi said embracing her tightly.
"Awwwww" ayra gushed while Jack simply wanted to disappear from the scene.
"C'mon ayra join us group hug " kachi invited, ayra enthusiastically obliged and loved the feeling of being squashed by two bodies.
"Jack you too join us" Ella enthused seeing he was standing awkwardly at the other side.
"No I will pass the only person I want to hug is my muffin" he didn't know he had said the last part loudly till he heard the deep squeal and glee of Ella and kachi.
"Awwww you are so sweet, kachi come let's go get food from the cafeteria all that running around has made me famished ".
"Yeah let's go and leave the love birds alone" kachi added winking at ayra "Don't worry we will leave a seat for you join us when you are ready " she echoed leaving with Ella.
"Okay" ayra replied turning around to face Jack " sorry about their teasing" she muttered scratching her ears.
"Tsk you look more uncomfortable than me, but here you are apologizing to me .it's fine I'm not bothered about their teasing its you I'm worried about. "
"Why? "
"Because the teasing is going to get worse with time and I'm not sure you can handle it".
Ayra frowned lightly "of course I can handle it, I can handle anything as long as I want to."
"Okay that's nice to hear muffin" he said removing her hands from her ear, and helping her to scratch that particular area.
"Thank you so much jack, if you hadn't locked us in here I'm certain kachi would not have listened to me. "
"You're welcome muffin I told you I will always be here for you. "
Tears threatened to spill over but she quickly embraced him to hide her face from him till she recollects her emotions, and of course jack held her fondly enjoying the feeling of her lithe body against his.
When ayra was certain her emotions was under check, she detached herself from his body " C'mon let's go to the cafeteria or do you not want to eat with us? "
"Muffin it's not that ,I am willing to eat with anyone as long as you are in the table, and this would be the first time we would be eating together but you haven't fulfilled your promise yet . "
"Huh I don't recall making any promises to you. "
"Well you had no idea I was the person you were referring to. "
"I'm lost please explain properly" ayra said folding her arms around her chest, there was never a dull moment with jack she thought in her mind.
"Ok I will find you" he declared smiling mischievously " Before I opened the door remember you said you would kiss and hug the person that locked the door? turns out I'm the lucky person" he finished off.
"Jack I remember saying I am indebted to the person, but I don't recall saying I would kiss and hug the person" she argued.
"Really?? You want to back away from your words now you said it clearly with your own mouth" he whined.
"I'm not trying to back away from anything Jack , you don't have any evidence that shows I said what you are claiming I said. "
"I can call kachi back and ask her in front of you" he offered.
"No don't do that okay let's assume I said that, I have already hugged you" she said .
"True but you just fulfilled one part of the promise, you haven't kissed me yet. "
Ayra blushed scarlet red, she had never kissed a boy before and didn't even know how to kiss but she wasn't about to let him know that.
"C'mon ayra kiss me let's go and eat.
Ayra drew closer to him reluctantly and stared at his perfectly rimmed lips , "ayra you can do this she told herself closing her eyes " but she figured she was still space apart from him she tried again going as far as holding onto his neck lightly but she was so scared.
Jack stared at her face fascinated at the myriad of expressions that had appeared, God she was so cute especially when she had a look of determination on her face.
"Tsk Jack I'm so sorry I can't kiss you yet, not that I don't want to" she rushed "but I ain't ready yet she said hiding her face in his musky chest, while wondering if he would get the kiss from another girl.
Jack swore lightly and brushed her hair lightly with his fingers" muffin i am so sorry for rushing you into doing something you ain't ready to do, I forgot you ain't like other girls . "
"Is that a compliment or insult? "
"Of course it's a compliment you are different and unique in your own way."
"Thanks so that means you ain't mad that I won't kiss you? "
No I'm not mad love, in fact I want to shoot myself for putting you in an uncomfortable situation . "
"It's fine babe glad you understand" ayra smiled in replyand Jack's eyes widened like saucers.
"Muffin did you just call me "babe "? "
"Uhm I don't know c'mon let's go. "
"Please call me " babe "" One more time I feel like an in cloud nine Jack begged all the way to the cafeteria amidst giggles from ayra.
