It was already nighttime when Cynthia came out of her room.
Eternity knew this because she could hear Cynthia slamming the door open to a deafening degree.
It was borderline obnoxious.
Well, it wasn't borderline.
It really was.
But perhaps Eternity just disliked Evan's sister to the point where everything Cynthia did seemed irritating to Eternity.
One might think that Eternity's annoyance toward Cynthia was unwarranted and seemed like something petty.
But maybe it actually was.
Either way, it left a bad taste in Eternity's mouth, knowing that Cynthia deceived her by acting as if she liked Eternity.
It simply did not sit well with the doll that Cynthia believed Eternity was merely a hired girlfriend that Evan had paid for the entire time they were "bonding."
