Maxmillan arrived before Lorrena and said, "Let's go. We are done here." While Lorrena nodded her head with that radiant smile still hung on her face.
Maxmillan, at the moment, was exceedingly glad. He now had a powerful beast that he stowed away and would get back to, tons of consummate resources—which he would still try to find more, and a really beautiful young lady that accompanied him.
This made him feel good and lucky. 'So, I can still be fortunate in this damned world?' Maxmillan asked himself—which was because he couldn't use Astra Mystralis and was therefore hated, stigmatized, and avoided by everyone in an entire city.
Then he said further inwardly, revoking his notion of fortune and blessings, 'Nah, it is the Supreme Battle-Technology System that filled me with such luck and fortune.'
