Chapter 84 - Provocation
"Alright. Let's get out of here." Lorrena said while Maxmillan heaved a sigh of relief as he delightfully nodded his head to her suggestion.
To show how desperate Maxmillan was in acquiring the Zanthaserpent for himself, if Lorrena was obstinate in her objective to eliminate the beast, he would knock her out—cause her to be completely conscious, not minding becoming her sworn archenemy, which would only be a shame since the first Spellcaster friend he met and conversed well with other than his family, had become a serious enemy.
But he was glad, like deeply glad that it didn't go in that direction, or he would say to himself like he heard sometimes ago on Earth, "All good things must surely come to an end."
As they moved away, with the plan to enter another tunnel that would lead to other caves, Maxmillan immediately released a single multi-purpose drone that flew silently to where the beast was and clung to its skin.
