After she vanished, Maxmillan suddenly got a notification on the new location of the girl.
When they faced off earlier, he had secretly released numerous espionage-purpose nanobugs that flew towards the girl and attached to her hair, clothes, and even other items they identified would be useful to her and might carry about with her.
Once he got the location, which was in another city, he nodded his head.
Then he turned to face the fear-drenched people behind him with a confident, comforting smile on his face and said, "Don't worry, you all are safe. I promise you. And if you are still scared, I will be here with you all for sometime."
Once Maxmillan said that, the whole villagers immediately went on their knees and began to thank him, praising him for his effort over them.
But Maxmillan told them not to worry, that they should go back to their rooms and continue with their daily activities.
