I rubbed the fake engagement ring that was on my finger nervously preparing to walk into the boardroom I felt a bit of adrenaline rush or would I call it anxiety,I knew i had to do this so they would take me seriously,I took a deep breath before wearing a smile and entered and I began
"I have something to announce to you all"I said "I'm engaged"I paused waiting for their reaction,the room went silent and all eyes were on me,I continued" I know this might sound sudden but it is what it is,I have been keeping it a secret" I said. "You know private I could be"
There was another minute of silence before one of the board members said"Congratulations!!!"
Followed by another series of congratulations and people coming to shake me and hug me. Thank heavens my plan worked,but they needed to see us together, Olivia needed to cooperate.

Is she okay?" I asked, standing and staring over Olivia's pale body.
"Yes she is sir,She just passed out "Fuego responded. "I think she hasn't fully recovered from the Effect of the injections' 'he added.
Her eyes started to roll aggressively immediate i raised up my index finger" leave us alone"
"Are you sure sir?"
"What did I say?"
"Okay sir,I would," Fuego says, shutting the door behind.
I sat on the bed looking at her patiently waiting for her to be awake, as soon as she saw me she sat up immediately.
"Hey,hey calm down,I won't hurt you," I said, staring at her." Only if you cooperate with me" I added.
She scowled,"I won't,my boyfriend would come get me and you would be f*cked"
I smiled at how naive she was,I held her hands and slipped in a ring forcefully on her third fingers,she yanked her hands from mine forcefully.
I held her face with my hands roughly. "If you don't cooperate with me ,then things would be really hard for you"I said "You should get a bath,and when you are done you are joining me for dinner down stairs as your Dad would be joining us" I added leaving the room.

I was already seated at the dining table with Mr Stones- he looked more happy than usual, on the table bottles of vodka were arranged in a vertical position, along with some dishes prepared by Mrs Patterson.
"I received the payment and I'm really grateful " Mr Jones spoke in a Stern but happy tone.
"Is that all I'm worth?"A feminine voice was heard,it was Olivia's,she was alighting the stairs. She looked unusually beautiful in the lemon dress I bought for her.,Mrs Patterson surely washed her clean.
She walked up to the table and sat opposite me,her gaze not leaving mine. I liked how daring she was trying to be,I guess she doesn't really know me well.
Mr Stone cleared his throat"That is not all you are worth,but at least you can be useful to me for once" he replied.
"Is that why you have decided to sell me off?Because you always wanted a male child and not a girl?"Olivia asked, her voice breaking.
"You never ever contributed anything to my company,you only cared about your beauty and going to different vacations"
"That's not true!You never let me get involved in the company," Olivia cried.
"I never told you this but the company is going down and I needed to look for a way to save it," he paused "you have to get married to Mr Jake as soon as possible and you need to pretend to be happy,this is a contract marriage that won't last for more than one year"he added.
"Yes he is right,after a year you are free to file for a divorce as I would have already saved a lot of funds and I would build my own company"I added.
There was a sudden noise at the entrance ,I recognized it was Cynthia arguing with the guards to let her in,so I stood to attend to the problem.
"It's okay you can let her in" I said,Cynthia walked in,surprised to see Olivia and her father.
"Hi my love" Cynthia smiled at me hugging me tight "I have been trying to reach you ,you haven't been answering"
"Well,that is because I have been busy talking to my Lovely and father," I said, staring at Olivia's confused face.
"You wish" Olivia shot back at me.
Cynthia laughed ,then it slowly turned to a frown. "Jake,I thought...." Cynthia's voice trailed off
"I would marry you?"I asked sitting back "You aren't useful to me love"I added, Cynthia took one glance at me and laughed out loud" Well,we shall see" she says as she leaves the hall.
There was silence, before Mr Stones stood to leave. "I would be on my way out now" then he faced Olivia"you owe it to me to marry this man,try to look at this in a good perspective,I'm sure you wouldn't want us to loose the house" he said leaving.
Olivia got up immediately and walked over to where I was.
"When are we getting married?" She sounded ready.
"Whenever you want" I responded,she touched my face slowly,her palm felt cold.
"I would make your life a living hell" she threatened,I smiled instead standing up now,her head was just below my chest level,I held her waist and pulled her close to my body,she let out a whimper.
"Are you sure?" I asked, looking into her eyes,she swallowed hard.
"Yes,I can see you have a mistress and I have a boyfriend,I guess we don't have a problem" she says
"It would become a problem when you all are seen publicly,that would ruin my position"
"You don't have to worry about that Mr Jake"
Our eyes locked and our bodies still wrapped around each other,just immediately the door was wide open,it was Fuego holding down a man despite the blindfold on his eyes he still looked familiar. Olivia loosened herself from my grip and her countenance instantly changed.
"Clinton, is that you?"Olivia called.
"Remove the blindfolded"I ordered
Lo and behold it was truly the Clinton I knew as my cousin.
