Chapter 42 - Let Me Take You To Him

[JIMINIE]

"Xiao Xiao!" Jiminie called out, ignoring the stares he was getting from his own people. He looked weak as fuck and was covered in a robe, not to mention the way he was bleeding profusely.

If he wasn't careful, Jiminie would lose his life. But then hadn't that already happened when Agust left Jiminie? Jiminie refused to believe that the committed psycho Lycan would just leave him like that.

It had never happened and he wasn't going to let it happen. He couldn't. Agust was the only person who truly loved him and he would be damned if Agust abandoned him.

Jiminie had grown up a lonely child, so maybe that was why he had been attached to Agust, but then while that was just a possibility, there was also the chance that Jiminie had liked Agust truly and wanted to know more about the man the fates had given him.

He wanted to show the world that the mad king could be a good person. Sure, Agust hadn't exactly treated him like a princess or royalty, but the man had shown up each time Jiminie needed him. He was always there, so this was just nothing.

"Please… Please come back. Please," Jiminie shouted as he ran around Kiyoto, his wolves staring at him like he had gone bonkers. He truly had, there had never been a painful experience as this for him.

His heart ached more than his stomach which was bleeding. The white robe he had been covered in was well strapped, making it hard for people to see what was beneath, but anyone with eyes could see that something had changed in their alpha.

They could see the perched full mounds on his chest, the scent of slick and blood, not to mention the fact that his scent had changed to that of the man they had all been scared of. Agust.

Of course, they had expected that Jiminie would shake off the king's scent after his kidnapping but the scent never went away. If anything, the scent had merged with Jiminie's and was now lavender.

"I'll be good, I promise. Just please don't leave me here, please. I have no one other than you," Jiminie begged as he ran around the pack, his blood drawing patterns that were so disturbing to the normal person.

No one had ever seen a case like this, ever. It was like the alpha they knew was gone. The spark in him that they had gotten used to was slowly fading and their alpha was slowly becoming a shell of who he had once been.

"Jiminie!!" Lee Tang's voice hit Jiminie's ears, and the alpha took that as a chance to make a run for the Kiyoto gates.

He knew his best friend would try and talk some sense it not him about his duty to the werewolves of Kiyoto, but then life didn't mean shit to Jiminie without Agust. He only ever wanted Agust and he wouldn't stop until he found the man he was looking for.

King Agust was the only reason he had held on in the past few weeks and to think that he just left was breaking Jiminie's already shattered heart.

"You promised you'd never leave. You swore to come when I called, please Xiao Xiao. Please come and save me from this, please," Jiminie begged as he ran towards the gates.

He was tired from the excessive bleeding and if he wasn't sedated, the alpha would die. Then again, he probably already knew that but wasn't paying any heed to the possibilities. The only thing that mattered to him was Agust.

"I'll take you to him, if you let us stop the bleeding," Lee Tang shouted when he saw his best friend struggling with the gates of the pack. He could see the desperation in Jiminie and it hurt more than he ever thought possible.

His best friend was reduced to this mess and Lee Tang felt his heart shatter to pieces. No matter how hard Jiminie tried to make it make sense, there was no telling why Agust had left.

The king had been crying when he left, and that was something that got Lee Tang curious. What the fuck was going on to get Agust on his knees like that?

"You're lying. You want me to go back so you can sedate me," Jiminie said weakly as he kept fumbling with the gates, the wolves who were watching the two felt their hearts shatter for the alpha they had loved.

None of them had ever seen Jiminie like this and they were not sure what they could do to make it better for Jiminie. It was like the universe had decided to fuck up their alpha, but was that what this was?

"I'll help find him too," one of the elders who was watching said sadly, as he walked over to where Jiminie was. He didn't know what this was about, but he knew the kid needed someone to hold him emotionally, physically, and mentally.

He knew that Jiminie needed help, and if finding whoever the fuck Xiao Xiao was was the only way to getting their strong alpha back, then he would do it.

"You… Hold on… what?" Jiminie asked and the elder smiled sadly at him.

"We'll find Xiao Xiao, Alpha Park. We will do whatever it takes to bring him back. Just please, let them stop the bleeding. We can't lose you, please alpha. You're our only hope," the elder said and Jiminie stared at them defeatedly.

"You all lie because you want your alpha back. I want Xiao. I'll find him myself," Jiminie whimpered defeatedly, his hands shaky as he fumbled with the lock. He couldn't see clearly, but then he wasn't about to give up.

"Please, Jiminie. Let us help. We will find him. We will bring him back," Lee Tang said earnestly as he tried to make his best friend see reason. Jiminie had been with child and had lost it, but he hadn't even acknowledged that reality.

Instead, the Kiyoto alpha was hell-bent on having Agust back. He refused to think of anything else other than Agust and that shit broke Lee Tang's heart so badly he wanted to punch things.

He wished the universe could bring Agust back to Jiminie, but then that was a long wish, one that was filled with chaos and things that even Lee Tang didn't know were possible. However, for Jiminie, he would try. He had to.

"If you don't trust them to bring him back, then trust me, alpha Park," So Hee's desperate voice clicked in Jiminie's ears and this time, he stopped fumbling with the lock, and turned to look at the Lycan.

His eyesight had gotten blurry and he knew he could fall at any moment so he had to hold onto that little hope that So Hee was giving him.

When it came to King Agust, Jiminie strangely trusted So Hee to make things right, and frankly, that was way better than anything that could have happened.

"Why should I trust you?" Jiminie asked.

"Because I'm the only one in the entire realm and universe that knows all his hiding spots. I can find him, but only on the condition that you get yourself attended to," So Hee said, even though her voice was full of pleas.

She knew how hard it would be for Jiminie when he realized he had lost a child he hadn't even known. It wouldn't be easy and if this was Jiminie breaking down for Agust who had left earlier, then So Hee was mentally preparing herself for the worst of the worst.

She was readying herself for the agony of an alpha who lost his child in unknown circumstances, a mate who wanted to find his erasthai and bring him back home or even disappear with Agust into the sunset.

It wouldn't be the easiest of times, but So Hee could only hope that Jiminie would have a coping system with him, because otherwise, he would lead the pack to the ground and that would be a failure, especially for the strongest wolf in the realm.

Then again, love did hurt and love ruined things. So Hee could only hope that her brother's love for the prince consort wasn't something that would ruin Jiminie in the end, because that would truly be a shame.

"You'll bring him back to me?"

"I'll do you one better, Alpha Park. I'll take you to him," So Hee said and before she could add anything, Jiminie fell unconscious on the ground with a thud, right into the puddle of his own blood.

Poor thing.
