[AGUST]
Whoever said devils were made, had to have seen what the universe had done to Agust and proven it more than once to get to that point. They had to have watched life turn into darkness and sweet little smiles turned into sinister growls.
Ming Xiao Zhu was once a sweet little werewolf boy, one who loved life and people. A boy who respected everyone and cared for everyone. He was once a boy who knew what love was, a boy who reigned in peace.
Young Ming Xiao Zhu was the kind of child many would want for themselves. The kid that parents would admire and hope had a long beautiful life that was peaceful and prosperous… well at least he would live long, right?
He was a bright light in every room that he walked into, until his twin and his father happened. Those two had forced the sweet little boy the werewolves of the Ming pack, to be the devil the entire realm knew as Agust.
And even worse, they had screwed him so badly the sweet boy needed up being the Lycan devil feared by the natural-born Lycans. They had fucked him up and Agust had never forgotten or forgiven.
If there was something he would kneel and pray for, then it was the chance to see his father again and make the man pay. Oh, he hated his father, Alpha Ming. And it seemed like the deities had answered his prayers.
Because his twin, the one loved by his father, the one who betrayed him more than once, the once considered the perfect sibling of the Ming twin brothers, Ming Chang Zhu, was headed for Kiyoto.
And he, Agust, the defective twin, wouldn't welcome him with open arms.
"Well then, it seems like we're having a family reunion, So Hee. We should organize a party, don't you think? Probably a mating party, or a party for the dead, or maybe a party for fathers to come and dance with their sons.
"You can choose one, but set the party up for three days from now. I need to clean up and got to bed. My Jiminie's scent awaits me," Agust said as he walked butt naked out of the guest room, making So Hee stare quizzically.
She was very aware that this wasn't going to end well. She had been beside Agust for the longest time and she understood what this meant for the defective twin. But even then, So Hee had made her choice.
She would always stay by Agust and be his enforcer like she had promised. She would always be there for him and while the king didn't need protectors, So Hee was the one person he trusted with everything.
She was like a best friend to him.
"Mating ceremony it is," So Hee sighed and she heard Agust chuckle in the distance, almost like he already knew that this was bound. However, there was only an open problem with this beautiful plan.
If they suddenly announced a mating ceremony in a land where war was the order of the day, then it would be a little too suspicious. It was almost like the impossible was bound to happen regardless.
There weren't many options left, and So Hee knew three days wasn't enough time. So, she made a call that would probably have her head being wiggled off of her neck by the defecting Ming.
King Agust would probably kill her and bring her to life again just to kill her. Maybe that was something she was willing to risk, but then with the instructions so dismal, So Hee was burned to find a loophole in the middle and explain what she was about to do.
"Well, I'll explain later," So Hee said to herself as she looked at the messy guest room before creating a portal to Kiyoto, the one place where she could either be lynched to death or strangled by its alpha. It was a risk, but then what else could she do?
****
Kiyoto was strangely calm for a pack whose alpha had given them a choice to pack up and leave because of an impending war. Unlike what the alpha had expected, the wolves were going on with their duties.
It was like nothing had ever happened and honestly, that was somewhat comforting for Jiminie. He wasn't sure that they would stay with him, especially after how rough the past two weeks had been for him.
He had been walking on eggshells around him not to mention the fact that he missed Agust so much he was thinking the man had moved on. He didn't know what to think, so he told his best friend that he was going out on a horse run.
He needed to unwind.
"Are you sure you want to do this alone? Agust could kidnap you again this time you might never have the chance to come back home, Jiminie," Lee Tang, Jiminie's best friend said and Jiminie just stared at him softly.
He understood why Lee Tang was worried and frankly, a part of him was also worried about Agust coming to kidnap him again. But then why did that idea sound so appealing to him? Why did it make him want to go out even more?
Jiminie wanted to see Agust. He wanted to be scented by Agust. He wanted to hold Agust. Hell, he wanted to be fucked by Agust, but then he couldn't tell that to his best friend without sounding like a man who only loved the devil after their race.
It was risky, but then what else could Jiminie do? The devil had already marked him and soon enough everyone would know that the most powerful werewolf alpha was paired with the craziest Lycan who was obsessed with killing werewolves.
That in itself felt like a stab in the back to his trace, but then the fates didn't exactly care about that when they were waiting for Jiminie with the dead bastard, right? Perhaps it was to give them hope for a chance at peace.
However, even then, Jiminie had a feeling that Agust would never love wolves or even go easy on them. He had a feeling that the bastard king would probably choke on spikes rather than admit that he would let the wolves go.
Besides, just because he let his Jiminie leave, just because he was head over heels in love with Jiminie never meant he would go soft in a race so weak and one that reminded him of the worst of his memories, right?
His Jiminie was an exception and even Jiminie knew that.
"He won't. He had a very good chance to do it and isn't. You worry too much. Besides, he said he would come for me, not to kidnap me. I have a feeling that the next time we see him, he will be at the front gate knocking," Jiminie said.
Lee Tang was now sure his best find had been fucked into forgetting the atrocities the mad Lycan king had done to them. But then he had to admit that no Lycan had been sighted around Kiyoto since the alpha came back.
Maybe peace was really something Jiminie could hope for, right?
Well, it was still an idea because the moment he bid his best friend byes and raced out of Kiyoto, he bumped into So Hee, barely a mile away from the pack.
"Hello there, Agust's Prince consort," Kim So Hee greeted enthusiastically.
