Xia Yu woke up, damn when was the last time she had such a peaceful sleep?
She smiled at herself. She got down from the bed and picked up her backpack. She searched for the credit card her father had given her. It was morning and she was famished.
Where is it? She searched the backpack but couldn't find it. She unzipped all the zips and poured out all the contents in it.
She rummaged through the items and still couldn't find it.
Could I have dropped it somewhere?
She thought, as she was racking her brain something shining in the pile of items from her backpack caught her eyes.
She picked it up, it was an amulet made of purple diamond, around the diamond was a carving of a phoenix.
Where did this come from? She didn't remember buying an amulet. It was then she remembered the man who bumbed into her on the road, he was being chased, there was no need to help her pick up the backpack at the risk of getting caught.
Unless he found a way to protect what those people were after. Could this be it? This was the only logical explanation she could think of.
While scrutinizing the amulet, she felt a sting on her finger. When she looked down she saw one of the tails of the Phoenix embedded into her finger.
Strangely it didn't hurt her at all. She looked at it curiously. The tail started to draw blood from her finger, the blood flowed round the Phoenix and the eyes started to glow. Then the blood filled the diamond and it started emitting purple and blood red colours so brightly that it could blind a person.
Immediately the diamond got full with blood, Xia Yu felt a powerful suction force. She disappeared.
She opened her eyes carefully. It was too bright and it took a while before she adjusted to it.
What she saw made her jaw drop and her eyes widen in disbelief. What is this place? Not long after she asked herself that question, a holographic figure appeared.
She was wearing a plain white dress. She shone as brightly as a star and she smiled at Xia Yu.
She then turned into a bolt of light and flew into Xia Yu's head. Xia Yu felt a burning sensation in her brain and with it came series of information.
She held her head in anguish.
After about an hour, her brain cooled down and Xia Yu started to process the information she just received.
Apparently this place was a dimensional space hidden away from the normal world.
It was a place created by a powerful martial artist. The martial artist created the space in order to escape the troubles of the current world.
The space was made to adapt to every era and times of the world. Everytime humans create something new no matter how hard they try to hide it, the space can get information about it.
The space flows through every time in the world, from the time of the dinosaurs to the time of cave people to the ancient monarch time and the present.
It is basically a hidden treasure.
Xia Yu was in utmost disbelief, it seemed like ever since she got reincarnated her luck just kept getting better and better.
Ahhhhhh she screamed excitedly as she jumped up and down all over the place.
This was really a treasure and most of all she just happened to accidentally obtain it.
Xia Yu calm down. She told herself.
So she walked ahead and came to the gateway to the space. Written boldly on it was.
Phoenix hideout
Seriously?!!!! Xia Yu found it funny that the previous owner of the space did not hide the fact that she came here to run away from worldly trouble.
Xia Yu walked in, immediately she felt a burst of pure and powerful air. It was like breathing in something otherworldly.
That wasn't the only shocking thing about the place.
Xia Yu stared mouth open at the sight in front of her. The Phoenix hideout was as big as a city if not more than that.
There were buildings like a Pagoda, a shopping mall, an automobile shop and others but most of all a gigantic and luxurious ancient Manor. It looked like the palaces in the ancient times.
Squeallllll!!!!!! She had always loved these kinds of ancient buildings. Without much of a thought Xia Yu ran towards the building engraved on the door was Phoenix palace.
She pushed the door open in excitement and walked in.
The manor was much bigger than she expected. Xia Yu walked around, there was a main building in the manor, it looked like a meeting hall.
There were different courtyards in the manor. Each courtyard had its own design which made each of them unique. There were various buildings in the manor but it was too large and Xia Yu had to stop roaming around and could only decided to return back later to the manor.
She walked out from the manor and moved over to the Pagoda. She pushed open the doors of the Pagoda and walked in.
She was disappointed when she got inside and found out that the Pagoda was empty except from the short rock pillar. So she approached the pillar curiously. On the pillar was a palm print, she placed her hand on the pillar and a bolt of light gushed out of the pillar.
In front of her was a list which looked like a table of content. The list showed the various rooms in the Pagoda and their functions.
The Pagoda was called the Pagoda of knowledge. There was a weapons room, martial arts room, medicine room, history room, armors room, protective shields room, intelligence enhancement room and pill refinery.
Xia Yu made up her mind and chose the pill refinery. The surroundings changed as she disappeared from where she was standing and she reappeared in a room.
The room was clean, there were different pills stored on the shelves in Mass quantity. Xia Yu looked around the room in wonder, one particular bottle of pill caught her attention. The bottle had a phoenix image on it.
Xia Yu looked at the label of the pill,
Phoenix pill.
There was only five bottles of it left, it was the only type of pill that was in little quantity. Xia Yu picked up the first bottle it looked different from the other Phoenix pills. The colour of the pills are red but the first Phoenix pill had a touch of purple in it and while other bottles had one pill, the first one had two in it.
Xia Yu did not think too much about it as she uncovered the bottle and put the two pills in her mouth and they instantly dissolved in her mouth without a trace.
