Chapter 4 - Luxuria Holy Elixir

Following the completion of their dual cultivation sessions, Sygna, feeling a surge of energy, took a moment to inspect the changes in his revitalized body. To his astonishment, the session had resulted in a breakthrough, elevating his mana pool to the level of a rank 2 magician.

The unexpected progress attested not only to the efficacy of their dual cultivation practice but also highlighted the exceptional purity of Milet's virgin Yin Qi, which had played a pivotal role in this breakthrough.

As he silently observed Milet, peacefully asleep beside him, Sygna marveled at the positive outcomes of their dual cultivation session. The subtle shifts in her aura suggested that Milet, too, had experienced a breakthrough. Judging by these signs, she might have reached the advanced stages of a rank 5 magician, an extraordinary feat considering she was at peak rank 4 magician before.

However, what truly caught Sygna off guard was the unexpected augmentation of her Blackwood blood after their session. The mystical connection between their dual cultivation practices and the enhancement of her ancestral bloodline introduced an intriguing layer of mystery.

"haha.."

Amidst the quietude of the room, Sygna couldn't help but chuckle softly. The efficiency of dual cultivation surpassed his expectations, and the possibilities it presented seemed almost boundless. The prospect of tapping into a power level beyond his imagination fueled Sygna's excitement, but he couldn't shake the awareness that such newfound strength might come at a cost.

If the effects were to become public knowledge, he might get targeted by some greedy horny female magician or even get assassinated by forces who don't want the Blackwood family to get much stronger.

"Hmm... I guess let's call it a day" Sygna mumbled to himself.

The day had been eventful, and the late hour left Sygna feeling drowsy.

He snuggled up to Milet, and his eyelids began to feel heavy.

He closed his eyes and fell into a peaceful sleep.

In the late morning, Sygna gradually wakes up.

Noting the empty space beside him that indicated Milet's departure. A soft, rhythmic knock on the door marked her return, and the creaking sound of the door opening accompanied her entrance, bearing a tray adorned with a morning feast.

"Good morning, young master," Milet greeted with an emotionless face she always had, placing the tray on the table beside Sygna's bed.

"Morning, Milet."

As Sygna indulged in the breakfast, savoring each bite, he couldn't help but notice the anticipation in Milet's gaze. After the last morsel had been consumed, Sygna shifted the conversation to a matter of significance, his tone becoming more serious.

"Milet, you must have noticed a significant change in your body," Sygna revealed, his words carrying a weight that hung in the air.

Milet quietly listened as Sygna continued.

"I hope you keep it a secret from everybody, Milet, not even my father, the Duke. Can you promise me that?"

"Yes, I promise, young master"

"Good, You may go, Milet"

Milet bowed respectfully before turning to exit.

Despite the unprecedented nature of their unique practice, he knew he could trust that Milet would remain true to her word.

After finishing his breakfast, Sygna finally leaves his bedroom.

As Sygna stepped out into the corridor, the familiar surroundings of the Blackwood mansion welcomed him with a sense of comfort and nostalgia. The cool, polished floors beneath his feet and the grandeur of the estate that had been his home for so long enveloped him in a blanket of memories.

The mansion's hallways were alive with the buzz of activity as servants went about their daily tasks. The rhythmic sounds of their duties created a symphony of familiarity, and Sygna couldn't help but appreciate the orchestrated harmony that had always accompanied his walks through these halls. The surprised expressions of the servants caught in their daily routines revealed the news of Sygna's awakening had quickly spread through the mansion. Eyes widened in astonishment, and hushed whispers filled the air as the staff paused to exchange glances, their astonishment evident at the return of their once comatose young master.

Sygna acknowledged their greetings with a nod.

As Sygna continued his leisurely walk through the Blackwood mansion, the echo of his footsteps reverberating through the grand hallways, he encountered a pair whose faces sparked immediate recognition. Lucius Blackwood, his uncle with flowing black hair and deep black eyes, stood beside Isolde Blackwood, formerly Greewin, a woman of noble lineage from the esteemed Greenwin family, which held a count rank in the Luxuria Kingdom.

"Good morning, Uncle Lucius, Aunt Isolde," Sygna greeted with a warm smile.

Lucius, wearing a surprised expression, met Sygna's gaze. "Sygna, my nephew! You look remarkably well. We were just on our way to your room to congratulate you on finally recovering" Lucius exclaimed with a warm voice.

Isolde, elegant and composed, added, "Indeed, Sygna. Your return has been the talk of the mansion. We are overjoyed to see you back on your feet."

While on the surface it seems like a warm family reunion, it's actually far from the truth.

Beneath Lucius Blackwood's seemingly warm exterior lay a concealed tension that hinted at a strained relationship with Sygna's father, Duke Drake Blackwood. The intricate history between the two brothers was marked by conflict and discord.

Their turbulent past reached its peak moment during a duel for the coveted title of Duke. With the grand elder of the Blackwood family as a witness, Drake and Lucius engaged in a clash that would determine the future of the Blackwood lineage. In the end, Drake emerged as the victor, securing the esteemed position of Duke.

However, Lucius, harboring a deep-seated resentment over the outcome, was left discontented. The complexities of their familial history cast a subtle shadow over the interactions between the brothers, veiling the warm expressions and familial gestures in an intricate dance of concealed emotions. As Sygna engaged in pleasantries with his uncle and aunt,

In a sudden shift, Lucius extended his mana sense to envelop Sygna's body. A subtle ripple of magical energy filled the air as Lucius scanned Sygna's form, his mana sense delving into the intricate pathways of Sygna's mana core.

'How rude'

Fortunately, Sygna already uses a technique from the cultivation world to hide his power level. Sygna limits his mana core to only produce an aura of rank 1 magician.

The surprise etched on Lucius's face became palpable as he processed the unexpected revelation.

"So the news is true" Lucius exclaimed, his voice a mixture of disbelief

"Your narrow mana vein is cured?" he inquired, his gaze fixed on Sygna with a perplexed expression.

While Lucius can't see Sygna's true rank, he still is able to see mana in Sygna's body flow very smoothly unlike before.

Sygna, meeting Lucius's gaze with composure, responded, "Yes, Uncle. Fortunately, the goddess has blessed me with her grace"

The revelation hung in the air, casting a momentary spell of intrigue and uncertainty between uncle and nephew.

Amidst the lingering astonishment, Isolde, with a gentle smile, extended her congratulations to Sygna.

"Congratulations my dear Nephew, it seems the lightning that struck you might have been a blessing in disguise," she remarked.

However, Lucius's face remained cold, but in a few seconds, his face turned into a warm face again.

"Hahaha, this is great news indeed!"

Sygna who saw Lucius's cold expression for a few seconds wanted to laugh at how fake Lucius was.

'This old man sure knows how to hide his ugly side'

After a few minutes of talking, Milet quietly showed up.

"My apologies for interrupting. Young Master, the Lord Duke had been looking for you and would like to meet you in his study room. He requested that you make your way there at once," Milet said, bowing respectfully.

Sygna nodded, and with a respectful bow, bid farewell to his uncle and aunt.

After Milet excused herself, Sygna made his way to the study room, wondering why his father had summoned him.

Once he entered the study, his father, Duke Drake Blackwood was busy with many documents on his desk.

Upon noticing his son's entrance, Duke Drake rose to his feet, his face adorned with a warm smile.

"How are you feeling, Son?"

"Much better, Father."

"You shouldn't be walking around, you need to rest."

"But I'm already feeling much better, Father," Sygna replied.

Duke shook his head. "That's not good. You need to take care of yourself and recover fully."

Duke reached into his drawer and picked up a fancy bottle. It was filled with a glowing purple liquid, the same shade as the magic stone in his hand.

"Here, take this," the duke said, handing the bottle to Sygna.

"What is this, Father?" Sygna asked, confused by what he held.

"It's the Luxuria Holy Elixir, it will help you recover much quicker and will also give many beneficial effects."

"..."

Sygna inspects the bottle of elixir in his hand.

The Luxuria Holy Elixir is a very rare potion. Revered for its myriad benefits, this elixir boasts the capacity for body nourishment, the cure of various ailments and curses, and the augmentation of mana production, among other remarkable effects. Whispers of its origin circulate as rumors, asserting that the Luxuria Temple employs a meticulous and sacred process to craft each precious bottle.

According to the rumor, the production of a single bottle requires the concerted efforts of ten apprentice saints engaged in prayer and rituals for an uninterrupted span of seven days. The elixir's rarity and immense value make it an elusive commodity, even for those with substantial financial means.

Sygna heard from Milet that yesterday The Duke had an urgent matter to do. It seems he went to Luxuria Temple to get this thing.

As Sygna was about to open the bottle, The duke stopped him.

"Don't drink it now, wait until night"

Sygna stopped his hand, waiting for his father to continue.

"The elixir has a potent side effect, which is similar to aphrodisiac which makes the one who drinks it will need to unleash their carnal desire."

"Oh"

'As expected of something Luxuria Temple produces, of course, it will be an aphrodisiac' Sygna thought.

"Also, don't forget to get some maid to your room"

Knowing his father's intention, Sygna smiled and nodded.

"Thank you, Father."

Even though his body was pretty much recovered, this elixir boasted many types of benefits that Sygna himself was curious how it would affect his body.

'Looks like I'll have a fun night ahead of me'
