Chapter 5 - Ch:5 The Cursed Mary

And the headmaster disappeared again and Eloise got mad saying "that's it? that's the lesson?" "well, we got more than what we're expecting, we were just expecting to learn magic and now we're killing a gazelle and getting lectures" Felix said in a joking tone with no expression in his face.

"yes that's what you get for wasting your time looking for an answer instead of solving the problem" said one of the members who stayed quiet the whole time but finally spoke "but what was the point of killing the gazelle? can you tell us that at least?"

"that's your problem, you always wait for answers and always expect somebody to tell you what to do, can't you think for yourself?" Felix replied in an annoyed tone,

"Yes we can think by ourselves! but we were expecting to learn something new like using magic to hunt or using spells to make it stronger or faster or else, what good will it do us on killing a freaking gazelle? " Rae said "I think I know why we had to kill the gazelle, it's all about choices" said Sebastian pointing at felix asking him "what do you think?"

" yes that is exactly why " Felix replied, "in this world you need to make your own choices, and this lesson was here to teach us that the world is not that innocent, in the real world sometimes you need to kill the gazelle not just kill the dragon" then the group members started to think about what has been said and they're actually starting to understand why we had to kill the animal.

"so what's next? what is lesson three going to be about?" Eloise asked

"that is what you have to figure it out on your own" the master replied

Then they head master disappeared and the team realized that they actually need to think for themselves to figure out the answer for the next lesson.

As Felix and the team thought carefully about the lesson they had learned, they realized they needed to use their own wit and cunning to crack the next puzzle. They gathered all their knowledge and skills and focused their attention on the task at hand: figuring out the next lesson.

They discussed the possibilities and considered the clues left behind by their mysterious mentor. Eventually, they came to the conclusion that the headmaster wanted them to use their creativity and ingenuity to figure out the next lesson. They knew they had to think outside the box and come up with a creative solution to the mystery.

With this in mind, they set out to find clues and solutions. The team searched high and low, trying different approaches and tactics. They used their own creativity to come up with possible answers, and eventually, they were able to crack the code.

After hours of hard work and perseverance, they had finally figured out the next lesson. The team felt proud of their accomplishment and thrilled to have passed the final challenge. They had learned an important lesson about teamwork, perseverance, and problem-solving skills. With their newfound knowledge and confidence, they knew they were ready to tackle the next challenge.

As the team continued their journey, they found themselves faced with a new series of challenges. With the knowledge and skills they had gained from the previous lesson, they knew they had what it took to overcome these obstacles.

They used their wits and ingenuity to find creative solutions to the problems, leveraging each other's strengths and skills to find the best approach. They found that with team work, dedication, and perseverance, nothing could stand in their way. They had come too far and worked too hard to let anything discourage them.

After a long day of challenges the team finally went to the dorms to sleep as early as possible since they have another day waiting for them tomorrow, Felix went to his room and grabbed the book he was reading before when he suddenly heard a knock on the door, at the 1st he did not open but then as the knocks got harder and harder he decided to open, when he opened the door he was a an old woman in her 60s standing at his door at this hour,

Felix did not utter a word, shockingly staring at the woman with blank expressions when the woman said "Don't you miss me?" that's when felix tried to close the door but he couldn't because the woman was pushing the door forward opening it even more, with her being on her 60s but her strength was questionable, after that felix let her in feeling as uncomfortable as ever when he asked her what did she wanted

"I come with a warning," the woman said, her voice frail but strong. "I am the ghost of your past, and I have come to tell you that you should not take your life for granted." Felix stared at the woman, unsure of what to say. He felt uneasy but also intrigued by the mysterious figure who suddenly appeared in his dorm room. "Why are you here?" he finally asked, his voice shaky. "What do you want from me?" The woman smiled and said, "I am here to remind you that life is precious and that every moment counts."

" I know that every moment counts and challenges is what keeps me alive" Felix replied to the lady with a challenging tone, when the lady said "strange of you to be in Whitehaven,

learning superpowers and magic when you're already granted them your majesty" the lady said when felix replied

Felix was taken aback by the woman's words. He had no idea what she was talking about, and he felt a wave of confusion wash over him. "I don't understand," he said. "What do you mean? No one has ever told me I had superpowers." The woman's face remained solemn, and she said, "You are meant to be a king.

You are meant to be great." Felix was speechless. He had never felt this level of uncertainty and confusion before. "I'm just a regular guy," he said, "not a king or anything special like that."

The woman let out a deep sigh and said, "Felix, you're more than just a regular guy. You have power and influence that not many people in this world have. You're meant to do great things, and I have come to make sure you don't squander your potential." Felix was completely bewildered by her words. He had never seen himself as anything more than a normal person, and he found it difficult to believe that he might have some sort of power. "How can you be so sure?" Felix asked

"I'm Not what you're saying" Felix replied to the woman, "I'm just the cursed one" felix continued and the woman kept on smiling creepily in his words.

The woman raised her eyebrows at Felix's comment, confused by his declaration of being "cursed." "What do you mean, 'you're just the cursed one'?" the woman asked. "Why do you think you're cursed?" Felix couldn't muster an answer, feeling more confused than ever. He had never thought of himself as cursed before, and the woman's words were making him feel uncomfortable. The woman stepped closer to Felix, her face illuminated by the moonlight that crept through the bedroom curtains. "You are a powerful being, Felix," the woman whispered.

"Don't let anyone tell you otherwise."

The woman's creepy smile caught Felix off guard and he couldn't think straight, is she threatening me? Felix thought , but he quickly remembered what the woman said " I am a powerful being" and as she whispered it in his ears Felix felt like he can do anything, he can even fly if he wants . But what did she mean by cursed ? Is he cursed or am i ? Felix kept on asking himself these questions.
