Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Anxiety and Hope

So, after graduating from university with a degree in business and management, Zhang Hao and Zhou Li returned to Shanghai in order to meet up with their friends and family and also to get involved in the business.

After meeting up with their parents, both parties were very happy to see each other but each of them had some thoughts on their minds. Alex Zhou, I mean Zhang Hao, was always thinking about the boy of his dreams and his life before the accident. He also wondered what he should do for his host family, who had taken him in and taken care of him after the accident, to repay them for their kindness towards him, although they could not be repaid because kindness cannot be repaid.

Zhou Li's thought was about Zhang Hao's answer even though he had not confessed his feelings to Zhang Hao yet. Shi Fang was worried about her son getting his heart broken because Zhang Hao was not showing any affection towards him. And Zhou Wei always thought about his business and about people's reactions to his son's sexuality and what would happen to his and his family's status after that. And Zhou Wei also thought about whether Zhang Hao and Zhou Li would be able enough to take over his business and what he should do with such a great talent of management and business like Shou Yi.

And Shou Yi's matter of thought was whether Zhang Hao was still alive and if he was, where he was. He also thought about his mother's health and about the responsibilities and duties he had for the Zhou company. On the other hand, Wu Ling, the mother of Shou Yi, was dreaming of a big house in her son's name and her future imaginary rich daughter-in-law and her imaginary grandchildren. Also, Wu Ling was thinking about how to make her son Shou Yi forget about Zhang Hao and his homosexuality and if he found another boyfriend, what she should do to keep Shou Yi in her hands.

Everyone had their personal thoughts which were causing them constant anxiety and an unknown hope for the future.
