Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – The Abyss Games, Interplay of Heaven and Hell

Lucifer walks back from school with a heavy shoulder.

Wanting to let his dad sign an exam paper which he failed.

Disappointed at the thought, but he rubbed it off.

Upon reaching the house, an unsettling silence that enveloped the house.

It's not right? He thought. The absence of warmth and life suggested something was amiss.

He searched high and low for his father, but he is still nowhere to be found.

In the midst of the dusty papers and ancient artifacts, Lucifer's gaze fell upon a cryptic note.

It read, "Inscribe the essence of celestial realms—3 of 6—within a sacred circle."

It was a puzzle layered with cosmic symbolism and hidden meanings, challenging him to unravel the celestial secrets filled within the dusty archives.

he stepped through and found himself in a surreal landscape reminiscent of a fever dream. Beautiful yet daunting.

The portal closed after he stepped in, leaving no trace of evidence behind.

The trees are mushrooms, teapots everywhere. He seems to shrink while his surrounding expands. Your shadows seemed to move whenever you blink.

Lucifer soon realized that this was no ordinary place. It was a realm governed by the whims of the rulers of heaven and hell.

Solarius, the Solar Sovereign, radiated authority and brilliance, casting a harsh light that revealed hidden truths.

Vespera, the Twilight Monarch, moved gracefully through the realms, whispering secrets that bridged the transition between light and darkness.

Astaroth, the Shattered Archon, echoed with fragments of lost souls, each shard a haunting reminder of rebellion's cost.

Elysian, the Netherworld Tyrant, emits an aura both intriguing and terrifying, a sovereign of the shadows.

But for the ruler of Paradise Lost. Remain a mystery, their identity not mentioned in the celestial archives.

He found himself awaking on a life-sized chess game board.

There were two giant hands from two portals. Front and end of the giant chessboard. Floating in the clouds of the sky.

The giant hands slowly set up the chess parts. King, Queen, Knight, Pawn, Bishop, Rook.

However, instead of the usual play way. There is no chance to checkmate.

This style of play relies on Lucifer's sense of luck. Answer incorrectly, and he will face a miserable and painful death.

After a few hesitations. "Knight" Lucifer said.

"Wrong, It's Queen" Lord Astaroth replied to Lucifer.

Immediately, two giant hands emerged abruptly from the front and back portals.

Lucifer, realizing the imminent danger, attempted to flee, but his efforts proved futile.

** The enormous hands seized both his legs, and with an unrelenting force, pulled his legs and arms in opposite directions.

Lucifer's anguished scream echoed through the surreal landscape as bones snapped, his skin tore, and blood gushed forth.

The six chess parts stood in one line like the statues of Easter Island, observing the agony he is undergoing.

The gruesome scene unfolded over the chessboard, with the massacre display of agony staining the once pristine surface with splatters of crimson as well as the chess parts.

Next moment, Lucifer woke up and shocked to see he is fine. Was it all an illusion? Am I back home? He lifted his head up only to be unsurprised.

In the second game, he had to climb up a tall stack of triangle shaped piled up poker cards. Lucifer climbed up hastily.

He was happy for a second where he finished. Lord Vespera pushed him and he fall down the high height and into a black hole.

As he fell down at great speed, the human characters on the life-sized poker game cards gave him a smirk, giggles, and many more funny faces and actions.

He had passed through them when he fall into the black hole.

He woke up again to find himself in the third game…
