Since I didn't knew much about this kinds of things I looked toward Sara for confirmation that was he telling the truth. She just nodded her head in confirmation. So I agreed with the price "Good now things are settled you need to pay me 2500 MS now then rest after the sword is ready." I brought my hand in fist and the owner to did the same touching our rings together I transfered the payment.
Seeing everything done I asked remembering something, " Can you purchase weapons,"
"Hmmmm, Yes we can. Why you ask," The owner was little confused by his question.
"Its because I wanted to sell some weapons that I had. And I don't need them so I thought to sell them rather than let it junk inside my ring been no use to me." I was talking about the weapons that I had got from those group of people that I have killed after getting out of the dungeon.
He nodded at me in understanding and asks ,"Ok I wouldn't mind purchasing them, But before that I want to see how many weapons do you want to sell, Plus this weapons rank than only I would able to tell you the price in which I can purchase them."
I removed the weopons from my ring, And placed them on the table. And let him have a look at my weopons.
He picked the weopon's one by one and checked them all, After done with checking he thought to himself, 'From all this weapon, This 4 of them are surely sold from My shop, So he must have obtained them by killing those who had purchased it from my shop,' but he didn't cared whom he had killed to get this weopon because many like's of him comes to him to sell the weapon of those whom they had killed and than taken it away from them. For him what matters was profit he can get from selling this weapon Nothing else.
And He was able to figure this out that this 4 weapon was brought from his shop because of the mark that was made by the blacksmith, Who had made this weapon. Every blacksmith had a habbit of leaving some kind of marks on the weapon they create, To let other know that this was their creation.
Many doesn't pay much attention to this marks because that doesn't mean anything for them, But people like the owner of this type of shop mainly pay attention to this marks.
Because they can't just sell the weapons that had the marks of a blacksmith that they haven't made a deal with or they don't sell those blacksmith's weapon in their shop's. If they do and other shop owner figures that out somehow that this shop owner was selling their's blacksmith's weapon in his shop, he could get in trouble because of this.
So the only thing he could do was to purchase this weapon from him than find out who sells this weopon with this particular marks on their shops than sell this weapon to them, So that they can further sell it in their own shop. And if this weapon where not sold in any of the shop of this town than he can sell it in his shop without any issue.
He said,"So you have 14 weapon of Rank 1, from market value I can purchase them 140 MS each and that would be total 1960 MS but I would round it up to 2000 MS, Since you are a friend of Miss Sara. So do you agree with this deal." Even though he said it was a market value but in truth he was already buying them in much higher price than he should, Just because of the woman sitting beside him. But even in this he was going to earn a good amount of MS if this all where sold. So he didn't minded to purchase them even in little high price.
I didn't mind the price, So I agreed and sold them to him and he gave me 2000 MS. After done with this we left the Shop.
Sara asks after we left the Shop ,"Aren't you going to buy some armors?"
"No it doesn't suit me, Only thing they do is slow my movement that in turn make my fights difficult, So I rather not prefer to wear or waste my MS in this Armours," It not only does that but also I feel very uncomfortable in those armors when I have tried wearing those in previous town.
She to agreed with me and said," You are right it does makes our movement slow,"
We continued are walk, I asked Sara that was on my mind "Why can't we just go to the person who makes this weapon then this shop, I could have saved some MS you know," She looked at me then answered "That would have been futile, Since this blacksmith wouldn't had agreed to make a weapon for us anyway."
I asked in confusion "Why would he not, If we pay then he should have no problem,"
She chuckled a little "Ofcource that would be a problem for them, You see this blacksmith usually makes some kind of deals with this kind of shops owner who sells the weapons and armors in their shop. Since blacksmith spends their half of the time making weapon while other half to rest, Increase their own rank, they don't get the time to sell their own creations. And this is where this shop owners comes who buy their weapons as whole to sell them in there shop. And in this they also make deal, like they would sell their creations to their shop only and not other. So if they made weapons for you it can be consider as violation of their deal."
"So this can make shop owner to make deal with another blacksmith rather than him, Even though their are few blacksmith but they are not rare enough that they can't be replaced by someone else,"
It does makes sense now and why this shop owners makes this kind of deal, even I could understand that, if the blacksmith make this customized weapon for other then that could be bad for his business, like rather then going to them to place order for such weopon they would go to blacksmith like I planed to do.
