Bacchus, Barnar, Mizu and I headed towards the largest building in the village.
We knocked on the door and an old man, probably around 70 years old, emerged from inside.
"What brings you here?"
"We apologize foe the sudden visit. We are travelers, we came to this village hoping to spend the night…but it looks like it's in a very desolate state, did something happen?"
The old man answered my question by inviting us inside to talk.
We sat down in what seemed to be the living room and the old man, with a heavy, sad tone, began to speak.
"Firstly, allow me to bid you welcome to our village, travelers. I am Karl the village elder. Regarding what happened to this village-"
The village elder the explained the reason behind the sorry state of the village.
It turned out that recently the village was subject to the attacks of certain monsters.
The monsters ravaged the fields, destroying anything the villagers cultivated, so they were barely surviving on their reserves.
They thought that monster would leave after a while, but unfortunately that was not the case: the village's food reserves were almost gone, so they were thinking of going to the next town to put in a request for extermination…and then we arrived at the village.
As cliché as excepted but this world is really brutul from peaceful Earth.

Barnar nodded to the elder's words and replied.

"Yes, we will as soon as we reached the town of Vale."
"Then please help us young adventurer to subdue the monster that is threatening us."
Hmm! I don't mind but I need to get information first. Attacking without planning and getting powerup is not what I do.
"I apologize for the interrupting, I am Bacchus, the merchant that hired these adventures. What kind of monster is it…?"

"W-we will pay the amount that we decided to use to put request in adventurer guild."
"Ok, I will deal with it quickly make sure to be ready with the money.'
After saying that I went to the general location that was given by elder and used map feature to pinpoint its location.
Mizu followed me but was silent throughout the way and didn't spoke a word which surprised me.
As I was walking, I felt a presence from above. I looked upwards and saw a massive bird swooping down on me…already!?
I quickly dodged the attacking by side stepping, then the ground shook and a cloud of dust rose.
A few seconds later, when the dust settled, all that was left was a crater about two meter wide. The eagle-like monster had soared up in the sky again.
It is stronger than Snor Bear a lot. Let's appraise it.

After that I stored the body of monster in my Item Box. Well, that was easier that excepted.

I went back to village and found the villagers, Bacchus and the others making preparations for banquet. Are they really confident in my abilities? The elder noticed me and Mizu and came up to us.
"Oh, you came back so soon…didn't you find that bird? Or have some other problem?
"Nope, I exterminated it."
So, I said as I pulled the Mephisto Bird that has been sliced into two part making everyone completely speechless. I think no one excepted me to return this quickly.
"As excepted from senior."
"He can defeat this monster like we exterminate some goblins."
"Now I am confused to whom should I call a monster!'
