After Yu Su dealt with the necrotic flesh on the young man, he applied a hemostatic bandage and brewed an anti-inflammatory herbal soup for him.
Concerned that ordinary herbs might take too long, he quietly added a precious herb with anti-inflammatory properties, close to the quality of spirit grass, to the concoction.
The fate of this young man was crucial for Yu Su to gain control over this batch of slaves; he must not die.
After drinking the anti-inflammatory herbal soup, the visible camel-like redness on the young man's face significantly reduced. As the fever subsided, his breath wasn't as weak as before.
"He's fine now," Yu Su sighed in relief, standing up.
Yu Meng found it astonishing; injuries as severe as the rotting on the young man's leg were usually beyond recovery. Yet, Yu Su had indeed saved him.
"Yu Su, you're amazing!" Yu Meng sincerely admired.
Although Lu Yan remained silent, his eyes conveyed a similar sentiment.
In fact, when Yu Su discreetly added herbs while treating the young man, Lu Yan sensed something.
However, his beast-like instincts told him it was Yu Su's secret, so he kept quiet. He didn't care about others; he only cared about Yu Su. Whatever Yu Su did, he believed Yu Su had his reasons, and he would never reveal Yu Su's secrets.

Outside the thatched hut:
During Yu Su's treatment, everyone witnessed it. This unfamiliar healing method seemed both novel and frightening.
The people of Yu Village were relatively calm; they knew of Yu Su's inheritance from the Mountain God. Out of trust in Yu Su, even if confused or afraid, they wouldn't disturb him.
However, it was different for those slaves from the same village as the young man. They excitedly wanted to rush in.
Yu Feng and the others quickly stopped them, pressing them to the ground.
"Behave yourselves!"
"Dare to cause trouble, and we'll kill you!"
Six robust slaves were restrained by Yu Feng and the others.
The leading slave felt a sinking heart. His strength was already considered significant, or else he wouldn't have become a troublemaker. They had moved through several villages without anyone being able to subdue them, but unexpectedly, the people in this seemingly inconspicuous and even poorer village were stronger than the guards in Salt Village.
Could they resist this?
Did they have to watch their young master be harmed by them?
"You promised to save our young master; you can't go back on your word!"
"Yes, you deceitful liars!"
The six slaves struggled incessantly, attempting to break free from Yu Feng and the others. However, no matter how they struggled, it was futile. They could only curse vehemently.
Yu Feng frowned, worried that they might disturb Yu Su inside. He prepared to have someone shut their mouths.
At this moment, Yu Su and the others came out of the thatched hut.
Yu Meng went over and kicked one of them, sternly saying, 'What are you yelling about? Your young master is fine now. Keep it up, and I'll slaughter him, believe it or not!'
"Fine?" The six slaves found it hard to believe.
Yu Su, looking down at them, said coldly, 'Yu Meng, take one person inside to see.'
Yu Meng complied, grabbing the leader and bringing him into the thatched hut. He made him stand in front of the straw pile, watching the young man sleeping.
"See? Still going to make a fuss?" The captured slave saw the young man lying comfortably on the straw, his leg wound treated, and his complexion much improved. He immediately realized they had misunderstood.
"Yu Su went to great lengths to save this kid, and you're making a fuss. If you want to die, just say so." Yu Meng threatened while holding the man's head down.
Kneeling down, he stared into the man's eyes, warning in a low voice, 'Yu Su is kind-hearted, but I'm not easy to deal with. If you dare to cause trouble again, I'll make your death look very ugly.'
Yu Meng's demeanor changed from the cheerful one he displayed in front of Yu Su to a cold and murderous one.
The slave being stared at felt a chill. Coupled with the realization that they were indeed in the wrong, he didn't resist and apologized, 'Sorry, we misunderstood.'
Yu Meng snorted, 'If there's a next time, you'll know the consequences.'
After a while, Yu Meng brought the man out.
'Yu Su, the person is out,' Yu Meng reported to Yu Su.
Coincidentally, Lu Yan, who was standing at the door of the thatched hut, turned around and glanced at him. He had heard what Yu Meng said while warning the slave. He didn't think Yu Meng had done anything wrong; these slaves did need a warning. If they still didn't listen, it was time to replace them with more obedient ones.
A cold light flashed in Lu Yan's eyes.
The slave who had seen the young man inside went to Yu Su, knelt down, and said, 'Master, we were wrong. We accept any punishment you give.'
The other five slaves, seeing this, were surprised. It was the first time they had heard this person address someone as 'master.' Realization dawned on them.
With a glance at the hunting team members holding down the slaves, Yu Feng silently communicated. Simultaneously, they released their grip.
The five slaves got up, following the lead of the kneeling slave. They all bowed their heads.
Yu Su's expression remained unchanged. 'In light of your acknowledgment of your mistake, I won't send you back this time. Each of you will receive twenty lashes; not one less.'
'I'll do it,' Yu Meng volunteered eagerly.
The slave who had experienced Yu Meng's strength was surprised, but considering they were at fault this time, they gritted their teeth and didn't utter a word.
From today onwards, they were slaves of Yu Village, and they couldn't harbor any rebellious thoughts, whether for the young master or for themselves. Regardless of the reason, they had to accept this punishment.
