As opposed to my advice, Alpha Natalie went to visit Lord Hendrix. And as she will, by herself without my company or any of the guards.
Her stubbornness and resilience are some of the reasons why I'm unsure of what to expect as the new Beta or how to act around her. In all ramifications, she's different; bold, strong, and fierce... to name a few.
Even though I wanted her to have it her way, I was compelled to trail her from afar. Just maybe my duty as her Beta includes this, or maybe not, which would warrant her having me punished.
Either way, her safety tops the chart, and I would worry about any sort of punishment later.
While I was at it, I made sure she never suspected, for one, Alpha Natalie's senses are more heightened than mere werewolves. I have noticed this short time I've spent with her.
