"Dear graduating students of The Springs Academy, I'm proud of you. And I will continue to put you in my prayers as you embark on a new journey." Our principal said as she concluded her speech on the podium. Every one of us clapped, not just in joy of her brilliant speech, but also in joy of the fact that it was our last day in high school.
"She'll miss us, right?" Hailey said, pinching me.
"Ouch! Hailey. Did you have to pinch me to say that?" I almost screamed.
"Well, you looked so immersed in her that I thought you were not listening." She said, chewing her gum like a prostitute. Susan, who was watching us, let out a chuckle. While I just hissed, rubbing where she had pinched.
My name is Carly Curtis, and I have just graduated from high school. Well, not just me, but my friends also.
Hailey and Susan were the only friends I had since I started schooling at The Springs Academy. Wherever you found one of us, you'd find the others.
