"Nope!" I gasped, wiping a bead of sweat from my brow. "It's not just fire manipulation. When this ability was completed, its complete knowledge flooded my mind like an instinctual download."
Clone 2 raised a skeptical eyebrow. "So, you're telling me that after using the power once, the entire manual gets magically imprinted in your brain?"
I merely grunted 'Hn.', a hint of amusement dancing in my eyes.
"Alright, fair enough," the second clone conceded. "But what about your vision? Any side effects there?"
I shook my head. "No, vision seems fine. Looks like the first use is complimentary, though it definitely drains the chakra and of course, there is physical pain."
Clone 1 let out a low whistle. "Phew! At least there's that. Now, spill the beans. What makes this 'real' flame control different?"
A grin stretched across my face. "It means I can manipulate any kind of flame be it Hellfire from hell, Sacred Fire from Heaven or Fire of God Amaterasu. Even control the lava of a volcano or the magma within the earth's crust, although mastering that will require extensive practice."
Clone 2 snorted, disbelief etched on his face. "Bull! You're pulling our legs, Sasuke. Prove it!"
"Fine," Sasuke smirked, gesturing towards Clone 1. "Gather some dry leaves and start a fire with those stones."
Clone 1 obliged, quickly whipping up a small blaze. Sasuke activated his right Mangekyo, and with a flick of his wrist, flames danced under his control. He shaped them into a searing fireball and launched it towards a distant tree, igniting its leaves in a burst of orange light.
Clone 2 stared, speechless for a moment before finally admitting, "Alright, I'll admit it. It's real."
I chuckled, wincing slightly as I rubbed my throbbing eye. "Shoot, my vision did blur a bit this time. Not much, but it's there."
Clone 1 clapped his hands, his usual cheerfulness returning. "Well, at least we figured out the 'free trial' thing."
Clone 2 scoffed. "Free trial, my foot. Let's move on. Left eye still glowing? Still doing its… whatever the hell it did?"
Sasuke nodded, the throbbing in his eye a constant reminder.
"What if it stopped time?" Clone 1 mused, his brow furrowed in thought.
Clone 2 snorted. "Bruh! How did this clone become dumber than a rock? Look up, the birds are still flapping their wings."
Clone 1 rolled his eyes. "Jeez, fine. Then try using it again. This time, I'll attack with ninjutsu, but no cheap shots."
"Are you sure?" I hesitated, a little wary of the outcome.
Clone 2, unable to contain himself, interjected. "Don't listen to this chicken-liver dumb version of us!"
Clone 1 shot him a glare that could curdle milk. "Shut your suspicious trap, clone! And Of course I'm sure! I was also right last time, remember?"
I, with a silent nod, accepted my fate.
'Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!'
A torrent of flames, a roaring "Great Fireball Jutsu," hurtled towards me. In that split second, I poured my will into my left Mangekyo, the eye blazing as its power surged. Then, silence. The fireball, once a raging inferno, simply… vanished.
Clone 2 blinked, jaw slack in disbelief. "What the…? Did it shrink the fireball like Isshiki's Sukunahikona?"
I shook my head, his brow furrowed. "No, I would have felt it if it shrunk. It just… disappeared."
Clone 2, ever the pragmatist, pressed on. "Okay, but then what happened? Where did it go?"
Suddenly, I froze, my gaze snapping to my cheek. The wound from Clone 1's earlier kunai slash – gone. Smooth, unmarked skin met my eyes.
"Wait a minute," Clone 2 muttered, piecing things together. "What about the information download? Did you…"
He was cut off by Clone 1's excited shout. "Guys, look at the tree!"
We turned to the tree that had been previously ablaze. Not a flicker of flame remained, its bark pristine and unharmed.
"Wasn't it burned?" Clone 2 questioned, bewildered.
Clone 1, his eyes wide with realization, pointed at the situation then and now. "It was, but it wasn't burned when Sasuke first activated his left eye."
"So, time reversal?" Clone 2 breathed, the implication sinking in.
"Maybe." Clone 1 conceded.
"But then why is the other tree still burnt?" Clone 2 gestured towards a separate tree, blackened and smoldering from Sasuke's earlier fireball demonstration.
My eyes narrowed in thought. "Because it was out of range. It's not just time reversal. It's… Time-Space and Reality Reversal. And to a certain extent, Logic Manipulation."
The clones stared at me, their expressions mirroring my own blend of awe and trepidation.
"Basically," I explained, "the first time I activate the ability, it captures a snapshot of reality within a certain range – both time and space. Then, when I use it again, I can rewind to that exact moment, essentially reversing reality. But here's the twist of Logic: I can choose whose state gets reverted to that captured moment and whose doesn't. Imagine a battle – my team and I are injured, but I've captured the moment before the fight, when we were all healthy. When I rewind, my team and I are healed, but the enemy remains injured. It's like saving a game before a boss fight, then reloading the save point and selectively choosing who gets the fresh start, while the boss remains weakened. But If I am reversing the conditions of other people than me, then it takes some chakra from me. And if I used this rewind time after 5 minutes, only 50% of my lost chakra ill be recovered."
Clone 1's jaw dropped. "Whoa, Sasuke! That's insane!"
Clone 2, ever the pragmatist, tempered our enthusiasm. "It's very helpful, but hold your horses. It's not the time to celebrate. We didn't embark on this wild goose chase to discover time-space-reality manipulation with the topic of logic hide & seek. Remember, we were looking for a genjutsu."
Clone 1 scoffed, earning a playful jab from Clone 2. "That's why I call you our pessimist clone. Just use a basic Mangekyo genjutsu on itself, voila!"
"That only works on clones, genius." Clone 2 retorted. "And we can't send a shadow clone there. Blood clones are out of reach for us right now."
I, however, remained undeterred. "Don't worry, I have a plan. And another piece of good news – my right eye is back to normal."
Clone 1 pumped his fist. "Awesome! So, using both eyes together could conserve the pain and light drain of your right eye, right?"
I shook my head. "Unfortunately, no. Mastering that will take extensive practice, and pushing it too hard could cost me sight in my left eye permanently."
Clone 2 grimaced. "Sounds like we need Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan for synchronized usage then, huh?"
I hummed in agreement.
Clone 1, ever the optimist, chimed in, "Hey, even rewinding time with your left eye means you have to activate right eye again, right? We can figure out the rest later. For now, focus on your plan, Sasuke."
After that I deactivate the eyes, wipe the blood, dispel the clones and turn to go to my house. But I suddenly saw my guard Anbu.
(Done! Hope you enjoy! Have a Good Day/Night.)
