"Statue?" Sir William repeated, raising his eyebrows in surprise.
"Yeah, it's for the Church of Chaos, so people can worship us." Ren explained, grinning widely and pointing to himself and Gareth.
Sir William's expression shifted from surprise to contemplation as he processed Ren's request. While the idea of erecting statues of Ren and Gareth for worship in the Church of Chaos was unconventional, Sir William understood the symbolic significance it could hold for their followers.
"Milord, I understand. I will see to it that the statues are crafted with the utmost reverence and detail," Sir William responded, his tone respectful.
Ren nodded in approval. "Good. Let the people of Oscana Barony know that we are their leaders and protectors, and that they should worship us with the same devotion they once reserved for the Church of Light."
Sir William bowed in acknowledgment of Ren's directive. "As you command, Milord. I will ensure that the statues serve as a symbol of our strength and unity."
"Alright, I leave it to you did Marshal Roland on training ground?" Ren asks.
"Yes, Milord. Marshal Roland is overseeing the training ground as usual," Sir William confirmed.
"Ok, I'll see you later." Ren left the city hall and went to training ground.
As Ren left the city hall and made his way to the training ground, arriving at the training ground, Ren found Marshal Roland overseeing the rigorous drills and exercises of their soldiers.
The sounds of clashing weapons and shouted commands filled the air, a testament to the discipline and dedication of Oscana Barony's military forces.
"Milord," Marshal Roland greeted with a respectful nod as Ren approached.
"At ease, Marshal," Ren replied, returning the nod. "How are our soldiers faring?"
Marshal Roland's expression hardened with determination. "They are making progress, Milord. We are training them to be resilient and adaptable, ready to face any challenge that comes our way."
Ren surveyed the training ground with a sense of pride, the new batch of anti mages will be sent to the battlefield within a month, before that happens, Ren will teach Marshal Roland a new skill for them to use, Mana Burn.
"Marshal, I have a new skill that I believe will be invaluable for our soldiers on the battlefield. It's called Mana Burn," Ren explained, his voice carrying conviction.
Marshal Roland's interest was piqued. "Mana Burn? What does it do, Milord?"
Ren explained, "Mana Burn is a spell that allows our soldiers to disrupt enemy spellcasting by draining their mana. It can weaken enemy mages and make them vulnerable to our attacks."
Ren teaches Marshal Roland the technique of using Mana Burn.
"Now channel your Chaotic Energy on your palm."
Ren focused, channeling his Chaotic Energy onto his palm, demonstrating the technique to Marshal Roland. As the energy coalesced, a faint aura of chaotic energy formed around Ren's hand, crackling with power.
"Like this, Marshal. Feel the chaotic energy coursing through you, and direct it towards your target," Ren instructed, his voice steady and authoritative.
Marshal Roland followed Ren's guidance, mimicking the technique as he focused his concentration. Slowly, a similar aura of chaotic energy began to manifest around his palm, albeit less pronounced than Ren's.
