[scuttling sounds]
As the scuttling sounds grew louder, the party readied their weapons, their eyes scanning the dark, eerie tunnel. Gunn, relying on his excellent sense of smell, detected the presence of something ahead. Without a word, he rushed towards the source, blades in hand. Rhox and the rest of the party followed closely behind.
Suddenly, piercing screams echoed through the tunnel. It wasn't anyone from the party. Rhox's mind raced with possibilities. What could it be? The party sprinted towards the screams, their hearts pounding.
WAIT!!
"Friendly! Friendly! I'm a friendly!" a voice shouted desperately. When the party arrived at the scene, they were met with a startling sight. An insect, similar to those they had faced earlier, stood before them. This one, however, had a humanoid exoskeleton resembling Gunn's but was smaller in stature.
The insect pleaded for its life, "Please, I'm friendly!"
