That was all Oz had to hear.
Grabbing the edge of the wall she flipped herself over the edge, white cape flying free. She landed with surprising ease, the white fabric flowing out like a pair of vengeful wings. Her sudden appearance scared the auctioneer, stumbling back as she was mere inches from him.
Oz stood to her full height, glaring at the surprised man and ripped the eyepatch from her eye. Fully exposing the glowing red crystal within.
She then pulled her cape off and wrapped it around the elf. She stared in surprise at the act of kindness. The she-elf fell to her knees in awe at the sight, "Saint of the dragon…" Nanillina gasped, her voice broken from the abuse.
Other elves in the area all gasped in surprise, some falling to their knees in reverence. The ill gotten slaves and free elves around, all their knees fell to the cobble stone and mud.
Oz whirled around, "I am the Saint of the Dragon! No longer will slavery be allowed! I don't give two shits about the ill gotten gains of the murderous king. Those who stand against me will face the wrath of righteous fury."
She tightened her fist, immediately the air chilled to sub-freezing temperatures around her. Her fist froze over with a massive gauntlet of ice. Each finger tipped with razor icicles that sparkled like prisms in the sunlight. At those words the crowd went crazy, the goat headed beings and the hoofed creatures all fell back. The muddled blue and gray skinned elves paled in horror.
"What? What! What do I pay you for! Get this bitch out of here!" The human man yelled, slapping the red tufted elf upside the head. Oz instead grabbed the auctioneer by the collar with her frozen over hand, pulling the camo uniform so hard it started to rip thanks to the razor tips of the gauntlet fingertips.
"Black tigers huh? You guys didn't learn last time huh?" She growled, actually picking the large man up. "You can't stop buying and selling people like they don't mean anything can yah?"
His eyes went wide in horror, "The White Ghost." He breathed in horror, his entire body quaking. Oz peered down as the ground under her foot suddenly went damp. She sneered then tossed him into the wall, hard enough it left an impact crater.
A soft whine caught her attention, she peered over her shoulder into the darkness under the bridge. The two guards stumbled back, holding their spears before her. Oz tightened her fist and held it up in warning. The guard attacked despite her warning, trying to run her through with the wickedly sharp spear. Oz spun like Nahern had taught her, instead using her foot to kick into the elf's stomach. The elf went flying into crates.
'Help. Help.'
[ Party Member has been found! Beast of Laloon.]
"Laloon?" Oz blinked, grabbing the spear from the other elf and used it to whip him straight across the head. All the fancy armor did nothing to the sudden whiplash and the elf hit the cobblestones. At the threat of violence, those seeking deals fled into the market.
One goat-headed creature tried to pull their latest purchases after them, the barefooted children were barely able to keep up as they were strangled by the chains.
Nahern glared down as he held up his bow and arrow, easily shooting the goat's head through the throat. The monster crashed to the filthy stones, gurgling and foaming as they died in the dirt.
Within seconds the tramps of the crowd were on the still twitching corpse, ripping away any useful trinket. The children were quickly picked up by a pair of she-elves, ripping the chains off.
"Stupid saint." Nahern hissed under his breath, cocking another arrow. It whistled as it flew true, instead of killing it lodged itself into a wall. Within seconds a thick barrier of shimmering magic appeared.
"I can buy you a few minutes then we must go." Nahern called out, prepping another arrow from his hidden quiver.
Selene rushed down to the fallen Nanillia, gathering her old nanny up. "Come with me Nani. Quickly. Hurry Saint!"
Oz nodded to the pair and rushed into the darkness.
