There was a fleet of Marine battleships heading towards Alabasta.
A group of ships contained 36 ships under the control of 6 vice admirals.
They were on their way to eliminate the self-claimed country by the order of the World Government.
A vice admiral looked afar towards the direction where Alabasta was.
"The sea is getting more and more chaotic." He complained.
Never before in his life had he witnessed so much chaos happen at the same time.
What made him shocked most was still the death of World Noble.
The culprit still was not found.
And now, the appearance of mass-produced Devil Fruit only added to the uncertainty of the world.
You don't need to be a scholar to know that artifact Devil Fruit was a huge world-changing.
Although the announcement of the artifact Devil Fruit appeared recently, the sea became more restless and dangerous for normal people.
He was told that Fontaine was the main factor that caused people to become pirates and sail to the sea.
However, he knew very clearly it was merely a convenient scapegoat so that people wouldn't feel guilty when attacking.
Nonetheless, he still did it without question since it was his duty.
"Report," A recruit came and reported as they neared Alabasta's shores. "We approach our destination; only this infamous stretch of sea remains."
Vice admiral nodded.
"Go to the cabin and sit well. The sea will not be kind from now on."
Surrounding the Alabasta kingdom was the sea that was renamed by the merchant and Marine.
Sometimes, it was gentle towards the merchant.
"Here it comes. "
But this sea was always brutal towards Marine.
A big wave rose 10 meters in height and its direction rushed towards the fleet of Marines.
Without hesitation, he drew his sword, leaping into action. With a single stroke, he cleaved the wave in two, carving a path for safe passage.
"Press forwards! Do not be faltered!" he urged, rallying his forces.
After his announcement, the fleet charged forward.
As they advanced, the sky suddenly turned black. A shroud of black clouds blocked the blue sky.
This unnatural phenomenon sent shivers down their spines.
Even as a Vice Admiral, he couldn't explain this strange phenomenon.
Wave after wave crashed upon the fleet, each more formidable than the last. Those waves attacked the ships like a beast.
But those Marines weren't low-key. They went through wave after wave without stopping.
All Marines were busy doing their best to pass through this dangerous area.
While they were confronting the relentless assault of the storm, the shrill chirping of a snail nestled in his pocket rang out.
"Pi pi pi" it cried out urgently.
He picked it up.
"Momonga listen."
"Report. An unidentified object sighted in the sky, approaching rapidly" It was the voice of his comrade.
Momonga's gaze shifted upward, his eyes narrowing as he spotted a glinting presence hurtling through the air. In an instant, a nearby battleship exploded, leaving a gaping hole in its deck.
He paid less attention to the sea and shifted his focus towards the sky.
Momonga could spot a man clad in red clothes flying in the sky with balloons and raining down destruction with a rocket.
"Eat rocket. Maggots" the assailant taunted, launching another projectile toward them.
Without hesitation, Momonga intercepted the rocket with a swift stroke of his blade, cleaving it in halves.
As he gathered his strength to confront the airborne threat, a sudden jolt of pain seared through his back.
Whirling around, he discovered a trembling recruit standing behind him, a knife clutched in his hand.
"I slipped, sir... I didn't mean to—" the recruit stammered with shaking pupils and hands.
He could detect the pure fear on the recruit's face.
He could feel his blood running down his back. Momonga's grip tightened around the knife stabbing on his back as he dismissed the recruit's feeble apologies.
"Let me retrieve it." the recruit offered.
"You stand there for me." Momonga refused in a stern voice.
His keen eyes scrutinized the unfamiliar knife. If he is wrong, this is a butterfly knife.
"What is this," he demanded an answer, his gaze piercing through the recruit's face.
Before he could extract answers, another wave of agony crashed over him, this time from a second assailant lurking behind him.
"For the bloody hell of my god."
A masked man with a cigarette who slowly turned into Momonga complained.
"Are people in this world strong enough to survive from my backstab?"
Momonga wasn't a stupid person. He knew what was going on his ship.
He quickly cut 2 recruits with his blade. Blood spurted out from their body splattering his face.
The body of the 2 recruits changed color gradually.
One red. And the other is blue.
He looked at the corpses with cold eyes. After glancing at it, he knew that there were intruders on his ship. From their outfit, it didn't look like they were the pirate.
Nonetheless, their existence wasn't allowed to be on his ship.
A deafening explosion reverberated through the air, diverting his attention
He turned to the source of the sound and detected a huge pillar of explosion appearing simultaneously on the sea.
As he assessed the unfolding chaos, a new presence breached his Haki's awareness.
Instinctively, he evaded the incoming threat, narrowly avoiding a fatal blow. Rolling across the deck, wounds searing with pain, Momonga's complexion paled with each passing moment.
"Damn it." A loud sound rang out.
He spotted a man with a gun sniping him from the control room.
A sniper in the ship's control room seized the opportunity to target him once more, further diminishing his already waning strength.
"Attention. All units. Stop what you are doing and come to the deck. I have something important to say directly." his snail relayed, catching Momonga off guard with his voice.
"I expect you to come up here in 1 minute or else, you will heavy punishment."
"That is not my command" Momonga tried to deny but the snail became unable to connect with other snails.
No longer after that, many groups of people came to the deck of the ship.
The order was so hasty that they didn't have time to properly equip their weapon.
"You guys turn back" Momonga shouted at them.
The navies still didn't understand what Momonga meant.
A blazing light illuminated brightly on the ground where they were standing.
The crew of the navy unconsciously covered their eyes.
A huge explosion exploded rendering many navies wounded and dead.
Seeing his subordinates, Momonga felt powerless.
Consumed by the guilty, he collapsed to the ground. When he saw the bomb explode, he knew that guy must be wandering somewhere on his ship.
His identity was famous around Marine's internal organization.
"Hey, you. Can I ask you a quick question?"
Momonga turned back and saw a thin boy sitting on the corpses of his subordinates.
"How long does it take for a moron to die? My answer is." That boy asked and answered by himself.
"Bonk" He swung his metal bat but that swing was too close in his eyes.
Momonga just slightly dodged with minimum movement and hacked his head off.
That boy was killed easily which made Momonga have to analyze again.
According to his common sense, the fear of death is the norm for everyone. Even the king who lived high in his kingdom still feared death.
However, the boy that he killed wasn't like that. Just a moment before he killed that boy, he could hear that boy grunted "Oh man. I die again"
He gazed at the boy's head rolling on the ground. There was no fear on his face as if he was born as a warrior. Or he was just simply a lunatic.
Momonga didn't believe the intruder sneaked on his ship just to be killed like this.
While he was contemplating, his Haki's observation detected another bullet.
He blocked it with the back side of his sword.
"Solve them first. Ask later"
Pouring his strength into his leg, he jumped towards the place where the sniper was stationed.
The sniper shot another bullet. He easily deflected it.
The frustration could be seen on the sniper's face. That sniper picked the jar up and threw it towards him.
The throw was accurately landed on his trajectory of moonstep.
The jar was broken and a yellow liquid splashed on him. The smell was stinky and hard to smell but it was familiar to him.
"This is urine."
Seeing the sniper shoot another bullet, Momonga leaned his body to his left.
This will be easy like the previous one.
However.
For some reason.
His movement seemed to be slower.
A bullet pierced through his leg. His paint was seeped by his blood.
Enduring the pain, he continued stepping into the air and moving forward.
"Eat grenade, Maggots." A man wearing a helmet tossed a grenade towards him.
The moment he saw the unpinned grenade in front of his eyes, he knew it was too late to dodge.
A fierce fire engulfed him. Many small beads pierced through his body.
He felt the intense pain in the whole body.
Gritting his teeth, he tried to maintain his consciousness. His face turned from purple to pure white like a ghost.
Like a doll without string, he fell to the ground motionless.
Crashing a small dent on the deck of the ship, Momonga struggled to stand back up.
A pair of boots appeared suddenly in front of him.
"Gentleman. As your enemy, I must give a compliment on your will of survival."
Momonga looked up. His pupils shrunk in shock.
"Why do you do this? Tell me why. My assistant." Momonga shouted at the person who was his assistant.
He didn't believe his assistant was a traitor.
"I see. Before you are going to die, I will reveal you something." His assistant's hands slowly reached his face.
There was a small fog surrounding his face. After the fog was dispelled, it revealed a completely strange man.
"I am not your assistant." A brown mask man said while igniting a cigar.
"Your assistant should be sleeping with fish right now. No need to find him." He added.
"You" Momonga wanted to kill the man standing in front of him.
"It will be rude of me if I don't introduce myself. My name is Spy." A guy named Spy raised his hand and pointed at people behind him.
"The boy with a bat is Scout."
"And the ones standing in the control room are Sniper and Soldier."
Sniper and Soldier waved their hands above.
"And the man who beat your subordinates in a Unicorn outfit is Heavy."
"Baby. You cry like a baby" Heavy said while punching the wounded Marine with his big fists.
"There are other people but they are currently not here"
Momonga took a moment to observe more carefully. He found the guy standing in front of him was identical to the first and second people that he killed.
His vision was still blurred but his brain wasn't lagged.
He found the appearance of the intruder was strangely similar.
Like the dauntless boy that he killed previously, there were 20 similar boys bonking his subordinates with a metal bat.
"My employer says you must be rendered harmlessly before stepping on Fontaine."
"Your action will anger the Marine and the World Government" Momonga stated with his last of strength.
"You mean those pig-face people."
Spy took a deep breath of his cigar.
"Why should I be afraid of the pig?" Spy drew a revolver from his clothes.
"If I were afraid of that kind of people then I bettered quit this job and suck mother's tips. Do you understand what I mean?" Spy stomped the floor. "It meant I **** your ****"
"Justice will never die."
*Bang*
A bullet flew through Momonga's head. Momonga was killed easily just like that.
"Not really." Spy took off his cigar and threw it on Momonga's body.
"My advice. Your justice should not be bound to that kind of people."
Spy was a man coming from the future so he didn't have a good impression when he knew those pigs blatantly kidnapped other people's wives publicly.
He had witnessed many bad things but those pig people were the worst of the worst in his whole life as a spy.
In his world, even a powerful person didn't blatantly kidnap like those pig people.
To imagine that his wife was kidnapped by this group of people, he would be very angry.
"Your justice is just a false symbol that is used to protect their image. Although you did protect innocent, it didn't justify their bad deeds."
