INT. GREAT HALL - FLASHBACK - NIGHT
The scene opens in a grand hall filled with towering stone columns and intricate tapestries that hang from the walls. The ethereal glow of the white-haired man, Lyndon, a member of the almost-extinct raven race, casts long, flickering shadows across the room as he emits white flames and glowing with white aura. Facing him is the demonic figure, Azaroth, the formidable Demon King, who exudes a dark and ominous aura.
Their swords clash with a resounding echo, and the air is charged with a palpable power. A little girl watches this battle with a mix of fear and sadness. She kept crying while watching the battle as her father fights for hid life. She knew, this battle could be the last battle for her father.
This little girl was seraphina azaroth's daughter. Any one could mistake her for a normal human, even though she was a pure demon. Only her two little purple demon horns could identify her as demon.
As the battle rages on, the sky outside the hall begins to change. A golden thread descends from the heavens, shimmering with an otherworldly light.
Azaroth, the Demon King, catches sight of this unexpected phenomenon and mutters in disbelief.
DEMON KING (looking at the golden thread)
Why you, why are you interfering in our battle?
Lyndon, still locked in combat with the Demon King, retorts with a mix of surprise and resentment.
LYNDON (raising his voice)
Why are you interfering now when you refused to do so in the past?
Azaroth, the Demon King, starts coughing up blood with a mouth stained crimson. With a strained voice, he speaks to Lyndon, his eyes reflecting a mixture of resignation and a father's love for his daughter, Seraphina.
DEMON KING (coughing and speaking weakly)
Consider yourself lucky this time around, Lyndon, for your victory was granted by their intervention.
He paused for a moment, his gaze shifting to Seraphina, who watched the battle with a mix of fear and confusion. The Demon King's eyes conveyed a sad parental smile, as if silently telling her that Lyndon was now her only family left.
DEMON KING (looking at Seraphina)
Since you have won, please take care of her. I won't be there for her in the future.
With those final words, the Demon King's form began to disintegrate, turning into dust, and his presence in the battle was no more. His sacrifice and love for his daughter left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who witnessed the tragic yet poignant moment.
Lyndon, still holding the memory of the Demon King's words, continued to engage in the battle. As the battle almost ended white flame's on his body started to vanish and the white glow faded, he now looked like a week human with no energy. He was then attacked by Seraphina with a sharp demonic looking knife. She was full tears and anger mixed with a felling of accomplishment as if saying to her dead father that she has avanged him. She stabbed him near his heart, dead center in the chest. Lyndon coughed out blood, unable to withstand the blow in his human mode. He lay on the ground, taking his last breath, and said to the girl, "I am sorry, little one, but what happened was not in my hands."
After uttering those words, he passed away. As he died, a distant baby's cry echoed, a sound that reverberated through the grand hall.
The little girl, Seraphina, bewildered and frightened, looked around, unable to comprehend the events that had unfolded.
INT. HOSPITAL - FLASHBACK - DAY
We transition to a different scene, a hospital room filled with somberness. A woman, a normal woman who has just given birth, lies in bed. She explains to a man, a close friend named Gabriel, that the boy's father died fighting the Demon King. She doesn't expect to live much longer either. With a heavy heart, she entrusts the child to Gabriel, who she names Steve, short for Steven.
