In the reception room, the Archdemon of Greed was sitting, swinging a glass cup in his hand, waiting for the customer to arrive. The door opened, and instead of the siren lady, the person who entered was someone he had met before.
"Thank you for waiting, I am the representative of the siren lady here to replace her"- Mae
The familiar voice made Avar stop drinking his water, put the cup on the table, and rested his chin on his hand.
"Is it you again, Mae Fungus? Why do I always feel like everything is related to you?"- Avar
"Maybe it's because I've lived a sinful life that I've been punished?"- Mae chuckled
It could be said that this was the third time they had met, as if everything had been pre-arranged. As she sat across from Avar, she was still on guard but Mae had a feeling that the Archdemon of Greed wouldn't do anything shady or at least she thought so.
"I have business with a client that has nothing to do with you"- Avar
