When beams of energy continuously shot out from the whirlpool and flew straight into the gray sky, creating a large gap revealing the starry night sky, people had no idea what was going on down there.
Inside the whirlpool, Mae continuously dodged the snakes' direct lunging attacks. After firing control magic, the snakes easily defended. It was an A-rank control magic she used, but it didn't seem to work on the snakes.
'If even A-level magic can't do anything, then these snakes... aren't ordinary'- Mae thought
A snake immediately bit Mae's right hand, it swung her around and threw her to the ground like a sack. Lying on the ground, she didn't feel any pain. She sat up and looked at her right arm that had been bitten off, oozing black liquid. The snake swallowed her arm deliciously but then spit continuously.
She looked expressionlessly at the snake that seemed to be disgusted by tasting her right arm.
