"I got your message, honey. What happened?" Is the first thing that is said to him after Salem answers the phone. It's been a couple days, Atlas and Salem both avoiding each other now. Salem can understand, honestly—and Atlas would never admit this—it's entirely possible Salem actually hurt Atlas. He feels guilty, but it's not like he can do much about it.
Anyway, it's been a couple days, and Salem's been pretty down. They won't put him on the Di Angelo case until after his promotion ceremony, which is next week. He's not looking forward to it. He will still be able to patrol and such with Donny, he's just also going to have this to worry about. He may end up working more hours, even.
Salem's in his car. He just got off work, and he worked the evening shift so it's late. Almost 10.
Salem is just sitting in his jeep, parked outside a fast food restaurant. He reclines his seat a bit and closes his eyes, settling in to tell Natalia everything.
