Chapter 101 - Chapter 100: You Should Be Grateful

"So, both of you worked together to capture her?"

"Yes, Powder helped too!"

Raising his hands triumphantly, Powder stood beside Lin Wen, jumping and loudly claiming credit: "I'm the one who shot her to subdue her. Well, of course, I wouldn't have been able to do it without Kai'sa."

Lin Wen turned his head to praise Powder, but Powder dodged his attempt to pat his head and awkwardly said, "Wait a minute, Lin Wen, the real hero is not me; it's Kai'sa. Lin Wen, she's the one who caught Camille; I just... shot a gun."

Powder had a sense of self-awareness. Although he fired the shot that helped Kai'sa capture Camille, he knew that without Kai'sa's protection, he wouldn't be standing here now.

Kai'sa glanced strangely at Powder. She was finding it increasingly difficult to understand Powder.

"So, let's praise both of them." Lin Wen raised his hand forward, pressing it on Powder's head again, and then gave it a firm rub.

He then looked at Kai'sa.

However, Kai'sa stared back at Lin Wen, shaking her head vigorously.

Kai'sa did not want Lin Wen to pat her head!

She wasn't a child!

"Hello there."

"We should be meeting, for the first time, the chief undercover agent of the Ferros family."

In the main hall of the meeting room, Silco crouched in front of Camille, his expression cold as he looked at her, and said, "I never thought our first meeting would be under these circumstances, Miss Camille. I apologize for the poor hospitality; please forgive us poor and uncultured people of Zaun."

"Are you Silco?"

Camille looked Silco up and down, her voice cold. "You look different from the information. Did you put on makeup now?"

Camille chuckled coldly, mocking Silco, "Do men need makeup?"

"Perhaps. I put on makeup for today to avoid contaminating the eyes of the noble people of Piltover."

Seeing that her sarcasm did not make Silco angry, Camille nodded and said, "Well said. You are quite eloquent."

"Thank you. But I want to know, Why did the heiress of the Ferros family come to Zaun?" Silco asked calmly.

"Zaun welcomes people from Piltover, but please undergo inspection when passing through during the day. This procedure should be familiar to you, as your people had a hundred reasons to intercept Zaun residents from going to the upper city."

Silco looked at Camille, hands crossed under his chin, coldly saying, "Have you forgotten?"

"Enough said," Camille disdainfully dismissed.

"Talking more does have its meaning." Silco guessed what Camille wanted to say and interrupted her.

Just as Silco was about to continue his confrontation with Camille, Lin Wen spoke up.

"Silco, I have a question."

Silco ignored Lin Wen and continued to address Camille: "As the chief undercover agent of Piltover, you must have come to Zaun for one of two reasons: either Vander or Hextech. Am I right?"

"Silco, I said I have a question for you."

Silco still didn't respond to Lin Wen, continuing to talk to Camille. "You should be grateful you didn't harm her, Miss Camille. Otherwise, your proud Ferros family won't last long."

Camille looked at Silco with surprise, but quickly a mocking smile appeared on her face as she spoke, "Madman."

"Silco, let's improve the soundproofing of this meeting room. At least it shouldn't be as noisy as today, with people making a racket outside while we can't hear anything inside," Lin Wen suggested.

Hearing Lin Wen's words, Silco agreed, "I understand. It was indeed my negligence."

He then glanced coldly at the restrained Camille on the ground and said, "After all, no one expected the top undercover agent from Piltover to come in person."

"Ha, she might have come here every day before," Lin Wen joked.
