Two hours later, Silco was the first to enter the hall. He was a punctual person and often arrived at the agreed-upon place before the scheduled time. Silco pushed the door open, first glancing at the cheerful Powder, who was smiling next to Lin Wen. Then he turned his head to look at Kai'sa, who was sitting not far away.
Next, Silco's eyes twitched.
"Lin Wen, it's time," he said.
"Is it already eight o'clock? That's fast," Lin Wen replied.
"No, there are still eight minutes." Silco opened his pocket watch, glanced at it, and continued, "But Powder, you have to leave now."
"Can't I stay and listen? I am the head of the Weapons Department; I should have that right, right?" Powder looked at Silco, tilting her head and asking.
"No, I've given you enough time. Now it's time for you to give me some. Powder, this is a fair deal. Otherwise, when your sister arrives, do I have to give her time again?" Silco, hands behind his back, lectured, "You should remember what I taught you: distinguishing right from wrong and understanding priorities."
"Ah, yes, yes." Powder raised her hands, palms up, rolled her eyes dramatically, and said impatiently, "I'm leaving. But Silco, can't you stop brainwashing people with just a few words?"
"I'm not brainwashing; this is the most basic and valuable principle—fairness."
"You say you're not brainwashing," Powder grumbled as she stood up. Walking a few steps to Silco's side, she leaned towards him. Then, looking at Kai'sa, she loudly declared, "She needs to come out too."
Silco paused for a moment, then laughed the next second, revealing a faint smile. He looked at Powder, nodded, and said, "Of course."
"Lin Wen, let your friend and Powder go out and have some fun. She's been sitting here since the afternoon; going out for some fresh air is a good idea," Silco suggested.
"Kai'sa, do you want to go out?" Lin Wen didn't directly agree but asked for Kai's opinion.
"Can I go out?" Kai'sa blinked, and, in fact, she had wanted to go out for some fresh air for a while. She found the discussions of these people boring; after all, she lacked ten years of common knowledge, and politics was just too dull for her.
"I said, in Zaun, you can go wherever you want. No one will stop you, but be careful not to harm anyone," Lin Wen reminded. "Not everyone can control their strength like me."
"Understood."
Lin Wen nodded, looked at Powder, and said, "Powder, take Kai'sa out for a stroll. Don't go too far."
"Oh."
"Also, Powder, don't bully her," Lin Wen said seriously.
Powder made snake-like movements with both hands, swaying them towards Lin Wen as if attacking him. When she withdrew her hands, she made a small "tsk" sound, then turned around. With two long braids shaking, she hopped forward, shouting, "Let's go; follow me."
Kai'sa immediately followed.
Leaving Lin Wen and Silco alone.
"That girl from Shurima, she can really eat," Silco said, looking at the empty fruit basket and dessert plate that the attractive Shuriman woman had consumed.
During meetings, snacks were provided for everyone, a suggestion by Vander that Silco didn't oppose. After all, starting with several hours of discussion, it was a blissful thing to eat something when hungry.
But every time it was just a symbolic amount, eating a couple of pieces was enough.
But that woman Silco found it very amusing.
She ate everything.
"She's quite an eater."
"She seems not to be human."
"Well, her heart is human, even if her body isn't."
Silco nodded. "You can tell, and that pattern on her skin—is that her skin? Don't look at me like that; I'm not interested in women."
Lin Wen's eyes immediately became sharp.
Seeing this, Silco sighed and continued to speak to the nonchalant Lin Wen, "I'm not interested in men either."
"My memory is good. When I first met her, I noticed a cloud-like pattern on her arm. But just now, when she walked past me, that pattern was at her waist. But, Lin Wen, she didn't change her clothes."
"Moving. Not technology, so it must be something else."
"Surface dynamic skin. You guessed it right; that's her skin, skin that moves."
"Moving skin."
"How strong is she?" Silco asked a crucial question.
"Very strong, very strong. If I don't stop her, she could wipe all of you out in less than a minute."
Thinking about Kai'sa's ability to unleash rocket attacks with a raise of her hand and the appearance of the pod on her shoulder, Lin Wen shuddered.
Kai'sa couldn't beat Lin Wen one-on-one, but compared to firepower, Kai'sa's destructive power was overwhelming.
She was like a humanoid arsenal.
After hearing Lin Wen's words, Silco nodded. "She's the weapon you brought back from Shurima?"
"No, she's our comrade."
Silco smiled slightly.

At the same time, on the third floor, Powder led Kai'sa to the balcony. Leaning weakly against the railing, Powder held two bottles of drinks in her hands.
"Here." Powder opened a can and handed it to Kai'sa.
"What is this?" Kai'sa took it with both hands, looking at the small can with a fruit pattern. The slightly cool feeling in her hands also felt nice.
"It's a drink for you to drink."
Kai'sa smelled it before bringing it to her nose. A sweet smell rushed into her nose.
Her eyes lit up; she loved this smell!
She loved sweet things the most!
However, Kai'sa didn't drink directly. She held the can, looked at Powder, who was leaning against the railing and lazily drinking her own can, and asked, "You seem to dislike me a lot. Why would you give me this?"
"Huh?"
"Oh, right."
"Yes, I don't like you."
Powder turned around, the bubbles went down her throat, leaning against the railing, her arm swinging, and she involuntarily let out a small burp. Then Powder, still grinning, said, "But don't worry; I may dislike you, but I won't hurt you."
"By the way, I have a question."
Kai'sa looked at Powder, holding the small can, quietly drinking the beverage.
"What's your relationship with Lin Wen?" Powder immediately added, "Uh, I mean, do you like Lin Wen?"
Powder spoke rapidly, "It's that kind of liking, um, yes, love. Oh, well, anyway, you're older than me, so you should understand what I mean."
"I'm friends with him, comrades, partners."
Of course, Kai'sa understood what Powder wanted to ask. She wasn't ignorant of the meaning behind the word "like."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Hmm."
Powder turned away from Kai'sa, twisted her little butt, sighed, and then, lifting the can she had just emptied, she threw it out, landing precisely in a nearby box on the ground.
Squinting one eye, Powder aimed her hand at the box, and with two fingers together, she made a shooting motion, "Pew!"
"He's so good; you'll find out slowly," Powder said, still grinning.
"When that time comes, and you still don't like him, then you have a problem."
Kai'sa silently drank her canned beverage, not knowing what to say. "So, if I like him, you'll hate me? If I don't like him, will you still hate me? What do you want?"
