"Yeah, I thought that I was probably drunk and I was not seeing right, but they confirmed it for me. Now tell us what's between you and Shawn." This was one I've been in. My three friends surrounded me, outside of my house and we're throwing questions at me. Questions that I didn't know how to reply to.
After the scene at the party, I avoided them until I finally left, which was quite late in the morning. Thank goodness for alcohol, they were all wasted, just like over half of the students.
"I'll explain, but not here." My parents were around and I didn't want them to overhear our conversation, especially my dad.
"Fine, good thing I brought my car." A part of me wondered how mad they were. I mean, it's not wrong to hide secrets. But this secret had to do with a friend. So I guess they do have a right to know.
