The ceremony was over, and that marked today as our last day on these grounds. Although what bothered me was the vision I had.
'What did they mean? Am I even ready for this?'
Some of them were familiar, like the attack at Hawthorne but the others were vague. I only had a few glimpse but I knew none of those had happened. Or perhaps they are visions from the future? If that's the case then my fear of the future being dark was going up come to pass.
I was seated in the hall, my thoughts far away. Most of the newly graduates were somewhere jubilating, but I was doing the exact opposite, brooding and thinking about every possibility of the future.
"Emily, come on we're all going for lunch."
"Emily?" I hadn't realized that she was next to me.
"Yeah sure, let's go." Courtney gave me a suspicious look, but she surprisingly didn't question me, thankfully.
